Darin's POV “Thank you.” I ended the call and dropped the phone. “She has received the gift,” I announced to Darwin, who nodded and sighed. “Maybe we should go see her. It's just a six-hour drive, or better still, we can use the jet,” I suggested, but the look on Darwin's face indicated he didn’t approve of my idea. “Not now, Darin.
