Dot report , I acknowledge her as I allow her mind link to connect with mine.

Luna alpha get dressed you and Micheal have to get here. They are assembling tomorrow. They are voting on us at noon tomorrow! They didn’t care if you came or not.

I could hear her panic in her mind, I send out calming vibes through our link.

Calm down dot. I figured this was gonna happen. Micheal and I are already packed. I just give the word and we are on our way. I’ll see you soon.

I close the link and look at the guys at my feet. “I must go make an alpha of myself” I growl as I take off. I can hear the guys call out their good lucks as I vanish back into the woods. I reach out in my mind link quickly to tell Micheal to get in the car as I speed down to the house. The car is already pulled up in front of the house when I hit the front yard.

“Let’s go, I will shower when we reach the elders house.” I bark as I climb into the car. Without a word, Micheal climbs into the driver seat and takes off. I mind link Layla and the pack to remind them she is in charge while I’m gone.

The drive to the compound is a long one from our little area in the woods. By the time we reach the compound it is already 5 am. Dot is waiting outside the inn when I get there.

“Here is your keys Luna alpha” I smile at her as I take them.

“Helpful as always Dot, thank you” I grab my duffel bag and rush off to the shower. I could still smell the scent of Adam, Anthony, and sweat all mixed together. I quickly shower and head out into the room.

“I’ll keep watch so you and Micheal can get some sleep before you storm the castle!” Dot exclaims and we all laugh at her. She is right though, i am tired and I can feel it all the way through my body. I just nod and crawl into bed, where Micheal joins me not long after. It had been a while since we had to share a bed. He found his mate so he stopped fretting over me when he had someone else to worry about. I can’t deny tho feeling the warmth of his body was kind of nice, out of instinct I moved my body slightly closer so I could feel the heat and dozed off instantly.

Dot is hovering over me when I open my eyes. “Come on Luna Alpha, it’s 10:30 you need to dress and get some food into you” she smiles and vanishes once she is satisfied that I’m awake enough. I slowly lift my upper half off the bed and look around dazed. Getting my bearings means I had an extremely good night sleep.

When I finally convince my body to get out of bed, I can smell the scent of fresh bacon and eggs coming up the stairs. My mouth waters as I throw on my black skinny jeans, silver butterfly blouse , and my black boots. As soon as I zip the last boot up I’m up and out the door heading toward the aroma of food.

“Good Morning Luna Alpha” Dot bows her head and hands out a plate. She looks tired, I know she has been up much longer than I have. I give her a apologetic smile and take my food.

“Good Morning Dot, go get some rest, Beta Micheal and me will be gone for awhile. Your duties are done for now” she smiles happily and nods heading straight back to the room.

Micheal smiles as I sit with him and we both eat in silence for awhile.

“It’s 11:30, we better get out of here so you can make your grand alpha entrance.” He winks at me as he can already feel the alpha energy coming off me.

“I will show them. I am an Alpha” I smirk as he nods at me.

“Yes. You are our Luna Alpha. Stronger, smarter, and more level headed then all whose attention you are about to command once you enter the room”

“Let’s go show them who I am” I purr in satisfaction as we both rise and head to the car. The ride to the castle compound felt much less than 30 mins but Once we parked and made it to the meeting room. I could already hear the voices of the other alphas asking the elders how a pack with a female alpha stayed under their radar for so long. The venom in their voices as they said female was very clear even through the doors.

I took a deep breath and called forth Kayleigh to me. I could hear her purring as she responded.

I’m right with you dear as is mother. Now throw those doors open and command the room.

I growl softly in response as I throw open the door, all heads whipped around to face me, as I lifted my head up and made eye contact with all of them.

“It seems, Micheal, that we are late for our own meeting” I smile sweetly as I take in all of the faces before me.

“Luna Zamora you made it” elder zack’s face was tight. I could tell he was not amused, in fact he may have been even annoyed that I showed up on time.

I bow my head in acknowledgement, “please be so kind as to not let me stop you from speaking about me, But,” I take in each of their faces in turn with my eye ablaze with Kayleigh’s icy blue showing through my hazel, “I, Zamora noelle Dragamore, will be here to defend myself as you speak of me” the amusement played slightly off my lips as the look of shock over took the room. I don’t know why Kayleigh told me to use my given full name, but now I see it. As they took in my name’s full value, the mood in the room shifted.

“You mean to tell me that you are Aaron Dragamore’s daughter?” A fragile looking old man stood up, and despite is look there was power in the way he moved and the other alpha’s followed him.

“Yes. That was my father.”

I could see him look me up and down, before he turned to the table, “She has power, alpha power, more than any of you here. I accept her as one of ours.” He turned to me, “what title do you go by? Luna? Alpha?”

A smile plays on my lips, “Luna Alpha, I am one and the same. My father’s blood runs through me as does my mother’s.”

He nods satisfied, “I motion for the new Luna Alpha” I hide my shock well as the rest of the table took the side with this ancient old alpha. So with one man’s decision it was decided, I was now an alpha and my pack was seen in the eyes of the others as one. The meeting was adjourned quickly after that and elder Zack was the first to leave, I made an enemy today I could feel it to my core.

As I am heading to the door myself, Micheal in tow, the old alpha limps up to me. “Names Devin Rugs.” The name struck my very core as soon as it left his lips.

“Uncle Dev!” He smiled when I finally recognized him

“Age has made you beautiful, it has not done me justice” he jokes as I wrap my arms around him with tears in my eyes.

“Your father was a good man, and he would have been proud of the woman before me now” his words warm my heart as he turns to walk away from me.
