As I lovingly watch uncle dev walk away from me I thought about my parents. It had been a long time since I had to think of home, I had walked away from them and their life to be with my mate. My father’s disappointment was hard to miss when I told him that the alpha of Silverfang was my mate.

Silverfang had always been a rouge like group since I could remember. When Ron took over as alpha I remember my father saying it was better,

“They at least went to pack functions” he would grumble. It didn’t help that my father and Ron’s dad were best friends growing up until some disagreement made them enemies.

“Just my f*cking luck my only beautiful daughter would be given to those.. those...” he couldn’t even find a term worthy of them the day that I broke the news. I remember his rage that day was unstoppable as he threw anything in sight away from him. He torn the house apart as I packed my bags. He didn’t even say goodbye as I walked out the door.

“No matter what daddy, I love you” you could hear the pain in my voice as I turned away from my childhood house. I hopped on my Harley that day, and I never looked back. The stabbing pain in my chest returned at the memory, I did miss my parents. It was unfortunate that they died before I could make amends and try to repair our relationship.

As I was trying to come out of memory lane a figure stomps his way to me. I could feel the rage within him, so I stood a little taller as he got into my face.

“You.” The venom behind his words cut between ever word, “will. never. be. a. true. alpha.” He spat

“Correct, I’m a Luna alpha. Two parts of a better whole.” He was fuming at my calm response to him.

“You will regret this decision. There are other packs, much larger than you, who do not want you to exist” as if that gave him an idea, his eyes lit up and he straighten himself again.

“Well that may be so elder zack, but I might just surprise you all” I wink at him as I turn on my heels and take my leave, I turn over my shoulder, “oh, see you at dinner” i could see the annoyance cross his face as he took in my words. It was a joy to see how little he knew that I knew. Dot had filled me in the whole list of things that this meeting would have. There was the vote, the dinner, and the sparring matches. I got accepted by the vote, but now I had to prove myself at dinner and sparring.

I exit the castle quickly after that and climb into the car, Micheal is already in the drivers seat.

“To the inn, we need to get ready for dinner soon” I smile at him as he nods. When we reach the inn, I jump out and head in.

“Evening Luna alpha” Dot greets me

“Evening, we have a dinner to get ready for. Will you do my hair as I do my makeup?”

She smiles happily to me, “of course! Let’s get it done” She rummages around until she gets all her supplies together. We set to work quickly, she does a plain updo with a braid accent but with my silver hair it looks great. For my makeup, I did a natural look with silver eyeshadow and cateye eyeliner to highlight my hazel eyes.

“You look like a beautiful alpha. You speak full power” she smiles at me as she finishes up my hair with some hair spray.

“Good but my dress will remind them I am a female” I smirk and shimmy into my silver dress, and slide my feet into my silver heels before looking at the mirror. Even I gasp as I look myself in the mirror, the dress most definitely highlights every part of my woman. From the slit at my legs, curves of my hour glass figure, all the way to curves of my full breast. I shimmy my cleavage, enjoying the face that my C’s look even bigger and better. I had plenty of breast, I was blessed in my body shape, but this dress, even I have to enjoy my shape. My smirk gets larger as I turn around and see how round my a** looks.

“This dress is Perfect” I smile wildly as I spray myself with a small amount of perfume before turning to Dot who has completed getting dress herself. Her shear dress silver dress is stunning and her raven black hair water falling around her face took my breath away.

She giggles, “Close your mouth Zamora, next to you, you will be the only one I take the breath away from today” she smiles, but she can’t hide the blush that roses her cheeks.

“I can’t help that you are beautiful!” I smile at her as I snake my hand around her waist and we descend the stairs together. When we hit the bottom of the stairs I could see the struggle Micheal was having to keep his eyes off both of us. I can’t help but laugh at him, “well that is exactly the response I want from the others here tonight, you look handsome yourself Micheal.”

That was no lie, his silver button down cling to every muscle that man owned. Let’s not even get started on his black slacks, for what they tried to hide would make a virgin blush.

“Thank you Luna Alpha,” he smiles and a part of me wished he wasn’t mated tonight. Although as his alpha I could choose to take him to my bed for the sheer fact, but that rule was as barbaric as not being allowed to be alpha because I was a female. I refused to put a strain on his mate life anyways, Layla was a lovely girl, and they fit like to missing puzzle links. Micheal holds the doors open as we exit the inn, and purely because he is a gentleman, holds the car door open for us to enter.

The drive to the castle felt much shorter this time, but it may just be for the fact I wasn’t on a time crunch. When we exited the car the castle looked much more beautiful this time, the lanterns light the way all the way up the staircase, into the foyer, as if it was leading you to the dinning area. Dot was caught up in the magic of the evening, i could see the shine in her eyes as we past each light.

I know Luna alpha I’ll try and get all my excitement out now.

I smile and nod as we enter the dinning room, where as if they are one giant machine, all eyes go to me.

“Well aren’t you just more and more a beauty when I see you” uncle dev comes limping up to me with someone in tow. That someone was gorgeous, he was delicious, he was...

Mate!! Kayleigh screams within my head as I bite back the urge to lung at this stranger.

Uncle dev turns to my mate, “Zaron, this is the newest alpha, Luna alpha of the Silverfang pack” my mate the takes me in with his icy blue eyes that look so welcoming, I want more than anything for him to pull me in to his arm, but I quickly shake that thought.

“Pleasure to meet you, I’m Zaron, Alpha of the Moonphase pack” I could tell he was holding back as he dipped his head in acknowledgment.

“The pleasure is mine,” I say as I curtsy skillfully to him.

“Well now that introductions are done, come sit my child let us eat” uncle dev sweeps me away and hobbles us to a table. There we sit and chat with a few of the other pack alpha’s.

“Well I know one thing Zamora”

“What’s that uncle dev”

“I swear my allegiance to you, have you need for aide my pack, the clear lake pack, will be there.”

I was completely Stund into silence as the rest of the table of alpha’s, including my mate’s, swore to aide me shall my pack require it. Based on what I knew of these packs, they were all within aiding distance to me. My little pack actually was nestled right next to uncle dev’s pack and all those who sat at this table were close to us.

“Thank you all, indeed, it is an honor to have you all express such kindness to my developing pack” I smile as uncle dev does something even more uncommon. He stood up with all his alpha strength and demand everyone attention.

“Attention everyone I have something to say,” once he got everyone’s attention he took a breath, “I Devin Rugs, Alpha of the Clear lake pack hereby resign my alpha title to Zamora Dragamore of the Silverfangs” there is a shock that roles through the crowd as he continues, “As I grow old, and have no living son’s or daughters in that case to bare my burden, I give that to my goddaughter, who has been allowed to bare the title of Luna Alpha, may she govern our combined packs with honor, strength, and wisdom.” In conclusion to his speech he grabs a knife and cuts open both our palms and smashes them together. This is mainly done when you accept a Luna into your pack, but can be done from alpha to alpha to allow session to the head.

With a large surge of power I felt both our packs combine as one in my mind. With that completed uncle dev settles himself down again and we eat. I’m still swirling with power as I try to gain control of the new additions to my mind link.

You will do find my child, your dad would have wanted you to take over his pack. I was told to wait for you anyways.

I don’t understand uncle.

Your father wanted to make up for loosing you, so on his death bed when I took over he asked me to combine our packs somehow, now I’ve done what he asked.

Please tell me you’ll help me govern

Oh course I can feel his chuckle in my mind as we focus back on the table in front of us. Politics is important and i has to spend the rest of the evening getting to know my allies.

When dinner concluded, we returned back to the inn. As I was taking my hair down, a wave of fatigue washed over me. I remember now why I hated politics, It always takes so much of your energy. I quickly wash off my face and crawl into bed, tomorrow is sparring and I have to make my best impression there.
