AFTER having breakfast, Jason immediately left the house without even telling me where he was going. Well, I know naman na sa work siya pupunta because he was wearing his business attire, pero si Drick at Brick lang ang kinausap niya.
Wala din naman akong pakialam.
"Ah, Brick, can I borrow a car?" tanong ko sa kanila. They're both busy in the living room doing a lot of stuff, paperwork to be specific.
"Car?" Tumingin siya sa akin ng nakakunot-noo. "Para saan?"
"I'll go to the grocery store to buy the ingredients that I need for the sinigang," I said to him.
Nakita kong nagkatinginan muna sila saglit ni Drick. Drick nodded to him as if he was agreeing into something kahit na hindi naman sila nag-uusap. Or maybe nag-uusap sila through their eyes? Hindi ko alam kung totoo ba 'yon
