Leo’s POV: I took the diary with me, walking down the same paths my father used to take to meet his mate. I stopped at some of the same landmarks he mentioned and looked over the scenery. It felt like I was getting to know my father again, but this time through his eyes or maybe getting to know who he truly was for the first time. I stopped at the river, reflecting on my father’s sacrifice and the way he was with me later when I was born, I sat and just watched as the water ran by me. I looked at his diary again and read of a very small cave about a mile from where I currently was, where they use to meet. I hiked up stream to go in search of it, I couldn’t see anything, nothing at all. I was more than two miles down, but still I couldn’t find it. It was turning dark quickly
