THE FORSAKEN ANGEL

Episode 57-Mating preparations

Prince Sapphire had followed his mother's biddings by leading the large group of angels out of the city and their magnitude increases every single day because three of his siblings are responsible for guiding to them the more angels that were leaving the city.

But that doesn't mean there were no demons on their trail, being that much of a population of different powerful angels in fact did draw attention to them but they couldn't be easily taken out due to their numbers. Every night they camp they get attacked but the prince had already assigned warriors that would fight to keep theme safe while the others sleep in their tents to pass the night before they continue their journey to the old city the following day but the unplanned for happened.

Sapphire could feel the mating season drawing near and he start to worry, the ones amongst them who are yet to mate amongst them would find their mates and the ones who have already mated would want to mate, that is their most vulnerable time and it scared him because the demons who had been hunting them might take advantage of this and this might create a huge ruckus.

His plan was to let the mateless amongst them do the protecting but the mateless were only kids and he didn't want to risk their lives. He was in a meeting with his siblings and important member of the resistance clue on his side and all of them had no clue what to do.

"I can feel it Sapphire, the mating season will be here any minute we have to decide something" Opal voiced at the round wooden table they all surrounded.

"I'm trying" Sapphire voiced feeling his head go blank because he had no solution to the problems whatsoever. Everyone at the table were in deep thoughts but none came up with a suggestion.

"I might have a suggestion" Amphitrite voiced as she adjusted herself at the table showing off the well embroidered red dress she was wearing. Amphitrite Nero is Opal's mate, she was well known for long sleek black hair that was always looking wet and this was a result of her ability to form water plasma. She was a unique Angel of water and a princess of the palace since she has had her first child with the prince.

"We cannot run and hide from the mating season it's already here...and we are nowhere close to the old city of Angel Bay, we have to camp here-

"It's the only option we have but also the most dangerous option we have" Opal cut in before she could finish but she gave him a scornful look in response for intervening when she was yet to finish talking.

"We have to form a boundary....hide ourselves under something they cannot get across-

"I doubt there's something like that" Ruis muttered under his breath.

"A thick enough mountain cave, plasma, water, earth and fire...we can use it to make a mountain tall and thick enough for everyone to fill into...inside we'll be able to mate and outside the walls will be thick enough to go last is the night" Amphitrite explained but the others still had doubtful looks on their faces though it was the only option they.

"Demons of darkness can find their way into the cave if there's darkness-

"The population of Angels traveling with us have at least 3000 angels from the Rhos family whose power is enough to lighten the interior of the Cafe...we should also come up with something that could fend off the demons off if they manged to break into the cave but I'm thinking...the water Angel's should find a way to trap the light from the light angels, if the inside of the cave is well illuminated, it'll be harmful for any demon that try to sneak in...they hate lights" Amphy further explained while everyone at the table started to consider the only option they had.

"That sounds like a very brilliant idea but would the cave be finished before the peak of mating season...I doubt anyone would be able to work and out the cave together under the influence of the mating season" Sapphire voiced his complains.

"We have to or we'll die...it's our only choice. If the mating season hits off before the peak of the mating season is over we have to endure it until everyone is safe inside and the cave is successfully sealed off from the inside. If we don't we might not be able to experience the next mating season...we don't have much of a choice here" Amphy spoke persistently while Sapphire started to look round to see if anyone disagree with her but no one does because that was the most brilliant idea they would ever come up with. Sapphire's face traveled from his siblings which included Opal, Ruis, Rin who were the only ones present since others since to be running different errands for their mother; to Sia her mate, Amphy her brother's mate and three of his cousins whom he was familiar with since they all have a lot of cousins. Angel Bay was one big family after all.

"Since you all agree to Amphy's idea...let's go inform the other Angel's then so the work can start immediately; we don't have much time to lose. Amphy...this is your idea...you should co-ordinate how the cave is supposed to look like" Sapphire decides before standing to deliver the news to the Angels traveling with them.

"I apologize for the incomplete and delay but as some of you are noticing right now that we are just some minutes away from the mating season" Sapphire started after all the Angel's have assembled so he extended his wings and fly over them to deliver his news that way they could all hear him.

"We will be vulnerable when during the peak of the mating season, for mates that have been mates for a long time, you would have known that by now. And knowing we have so many demons on our trail...it is very dangerous for us at this stage so...we have decided to make a safe cave, to protect us from the Demons during this vulnerable state but to make a cave that safe would require the effort of everyone so, I want all the higher angels on one side please" Sapphire instructed since the higher angels are the only angels with powers.

About quarter of the population traveling with him were higher angels so he was pretty gland, the more they are the more the get the work. Done.

"Amphy" Sapphire called for her to take over after that.

"Every higher angel shall take part in the process of making this secure cave for us all...the plant angels shall clear away more than 200 hectares of land to build this cave" Everyone instantly start to murmur. They were in a the very thick bush that led along to the old city and clearing cover a quarter of the distance they have left to get there.

"I know its much but we have to make the cave thick and we have to make compartments for mates, young angels and kids...Mating isn't something we should be having young angels watching" Amphy did have a point, Sapphire acknowledged silently.

"The animal angels shall helped by calling every animals that can help in the clearing, the earth angels together with the fire and water angels shall raise the cave for now, the lower angels should direct the rest of the angels both old and young to aside while we get to work and be sure...we have to be fast about this or the mating season will definitely catch up to us" Amphy pressured and everyone started exchanging looks.

"Please...begin" Amphy instructed and few angels fly up so they could wither away the trees that were surrounding the place, different heavy animals started appearing to help in clearing the trees as the Animal angels called to them. Every Angel's involved immediately started their part. Sapphire and his siblings joined in the process while Sia see to the Angel's who aren't working. Just as they started raising the cave, Sia felt the presence of the demons and this made her worry.

Sapphire wanted to stop the water he was controlling from the vast ocean nearby to help raise the cave when Sia stopped him..

"We'll handle this" Sia shouted over to him and smiled before her eyes glinted pink...every other love angels joined her on cue sending their compelling aura out. Before the demons come closer they compelled them to fight amidst themselves but they had to concentrate or they'll lose their hold on them. Sia was able to hold off until the large cave stood and the angels that were now now done working started ushering the other angels inside but Sia started to lose focus when the other love angels around her started to collapse from exhaustion, what they were doing was draining so...the earth and fire angels stepped in fending the demons off as Sia joined in coordinating the kids into the cave...inside the cave, the light angels and water angels have started illuminating the inside of the cave with light.

By the time Sia move back outside to help the angels fighting the demons, the mating season peak hit crippling them, most of the angels fighting in the air started to land as their bodies started to react to the mating season.

"Get inside" Sapphire yelled his command trying to hold his lust since his mate was nearby. The angels run for the only entrance available on the cave...Sia and Sapphire end up entering last while trying to fend off the other demon and immediately they entered the cave, the angels that had been getting ready to block off the entrance set to work...killing few demons at the entrance.

Sapphire run to separate the couple who was starting to react to the season by getting down to business.

"The kids are here" He warned before flying up.

"You can't stop now" He told the Light angels that couldn't keep up with illuminating the cave as well as the earth and water angels that were supposed to go about the partitioning and raising boundaries.

"We have to do this for our kids" He encouraged and everyone finally managed to control themselves as they resume the work and soon the cave was partitioned to as many small compartments as they could find.

"Mated Angels and about to be mated angels to one side please" Sia and Amphy organized while Saph, Opal, Ruis and Rin started assigning the compartments while Sia and Amphy directed the kids.

After everyone was fitted into private compartments and kids separated...Amphy and Sia addressed the unmated teens to take care of the young ones since they were aware what was going to happen afterwards.

By the time Sia, Saph, Amphy and Opal returned to their compartments, they were sweating profusely.

"It's hard to keep the lust at bay" Saph huskily muttered before lifting Sia up and pinning her to the wall.

"Shall we get to business then" He lustfully let out before clashing his lips with his mate's.
