Episode 38-Wrong side of Helen

1781 Words
Crystal was standing not to far from the 'do not cross line and she was looking extremely horrified by the sight of Damian being wheeled into the ambulance in that state. Our eyes met while I stood pitying her and I instantly left trying to find her because of I sense she was going to do the same. After we met I explained my sister's message to her and for a minute she freaked out until she recalled the nails an led us back to it. Then we were attacked by a group of demons of course, I was finally able to use the technique I've been working on ever since we got driven out of Angel Bay but I had no idea it was going to consume so much energy that I passed out almost immediately. After which I found myself with my sister who seems to be pacing up and down in worry, and she also looks extremely bored. "What are you doing here?" My sister demanded and I sighed. "Trust me I have no idea how I got here" I confessed and she narrowed her face at me. This was the first time my sister was not looking at me with a threatening gaze. "How's the boy?" My sister asked out of worry. "My friends will take good care of him; they are already making the antidote- "How can you be so certain that they will get a hang of it, and right now with you being unconscious, how could you be certain that you and the boy isn't in grave danger?" My sister questioned with a long face and I heaved, I never thought I'll see that side of her, she has been nothing but cold to m since the very day I met her. "Sister" I called studying her expression closely. "Maybe me being here is for a good reason, I need to tell you something, I was asked not to tell you just yet, but it wouldn't make any difference if you were to find out later" I started while still fixating my gaze on Angelique whose look have gotten so intense while just staring at me. "You do know the story of father's mate don't you...you knew he found his mate- "Father found his mate before even married mother; he just said she wasn't an angel she could be with; I wonder why till this moment" The look on Angelique's face gave her away, Helen knew she knew more than she was letting on. "Are you sure you have no idea father's mate was a demon?" Helen questioned while slowly narrowing her face at her and Angelique was quite surprised by what she just said but she just felt the need to know. "Look" She started off. "Father, went back for her and I'm guessing it was after mom find her mate, you weren't there when mom find her mate where you?" Helen asked while studying her expression closely. "No" Angelique answered and sighed. "I don't get how for 100years mom didn't have her own mate, and neither did father? Has she being suffering the mating dream for the 100years?" Helen's curiosity got the best of her. "No, the mating dream can last up to 5years but eventually it'll stop...for years, then return...then go, the circle continues like that" Her sister clarified while twitching her fingers. "Why are you telling me this though? Because father will never do anything to put Angel Bay in jeopardy, he always always bring his people first, wasn't that the reason I'm here" Angelique scoffed but Helen's grim expression spoke for her. "He went back to her didn't he?" Angelique's brows furrowed as she walked closer to Helen. "What catastrophe had he brought upon us all?" "He mated with his mate, breed an hybrid" Angelique's eyes shut tight. "She's powerful, she's like us but with demonic powers as well" Helen added and she scoffed. "So what is our demonic half sister up to?" Angelique smirked. "She's on the throne at the moment" Helen finally mustered up the rest of my courage to tell her but she just laughed. "So mom ask you to find and protect me, to bring me back to fight it, isn't it?" Angelique laughed and her look slowly dissolve into a mere look of anger and rage, the look that forced me out of her space. And Helen woke up to find herself in the hospital right on the bed next to Damian whose face was pale and his breathing was heavy, but he was sweating so she guessed they must have gotten the antidote to him but then...where is the rest of her group? She worried as she slowly stood looking for them but then she figured the hospital was crawling with demons. Okay, they just had to follow the there, I mean...why in the name of Aeageus will they follow us to the hospital? She sighed feeling her thoughts went feral while trying to look for the rest of my group but the three of them was already overpowered and were on their knees. Rose had her wings out and they were torturing her by pulling out her feathers one by one while the people watch in terror, it was against the rules of the three realms to expose our existence to the humans, what they are doing was strictly against the rules, humans are going to be petrified, feeling extremely angry about what they were doing she decided to unleash her rage on them, she feel her hair turn white and her aura sip into her blood cells so much that it draws attention. Helen formed sword out of the water molecules in the air and make it protrude them all then she exhaled softly to relax as she felt her energy drain slowly. "Princess" Ruby ran to Helen to check if she was okay and Helen just smiled at her showing her she was fine. "How's Damian? And why is there so many demons around? They scent stung...my nose" I complained and Morgan walked up to me with guilty look on his face. "We couldn't leave you by yourself but this hospital is surrounded, I'm sorry princess, we can't leave this alone...they'll kill us but I most assure you that Crystal is safe...I asked Andrea to get her out and also" Morgan informed hoping that will be enough to pacify Helen but she had other plans in mind. "These are humans m" Helen muttered in hushed tones after realizing the fee people squirming in fear as the stare at the disintegrating body of the demons are human. "I'm afraid they are" Rose affirmed ruefully. "They cannot bear the knowledge of our existence" Helen reminded them and they sighed. "Yes they cannot but there's nothing we can do about it right now, we have to find a way to get you and Damian out of here immediately he's recovered" Ruby suggested but Helen wonder how that was possible. "This town will be a target immediately we leave this place, they will positioned themselves to capture us since they've figured we live around, if we won't to keep Crystal safe we have to stay away from her, until mother comes up with a solution" Helen spoke leaving the group confused because they weren't really sure I was talking to them or herself actually. "Look, we have to call for backup, because right now I'm thinking these demons are waiting for something, something like Vera’s army of shadows...they must have summoned them...for them to just surround the hospital we are in and not attack, they are waiting for something" Helen muttered fidgeting her fingers and biting down on her lower lips to find a solution. "I might have a solution but I most warn you that I might faint again- "Did you have to always misuse your energy, this isn't right princess" Ruby cautioned with worry evident in her tone as she speak. "I'll be fine, immediately this is done you have to get Damian and leave this place, take him to Crystal's, you know where that is right?" Helen asked and they all wear a wear clueless expression on their faces. "But it's very dangerous going back to Crystal at a time like this, we could lead them to her, so I suggest we take the boy somewhere else, dump him at another hospital perhaps" Morgan suggested and Helen stared at Ruby and Rose eyes, waiting for confirmation or affirmation, she wanted to be sure they agreed to Morgan's plan and they seem to agree but they didn't say much to it. After they had arrived at a conclusion, Helen walked to the center of the almost deserted hospital watching herself become invincible. Then she directed all her energy to every water molecules around and have them slowly converge into the clouds and making them wet and Grey. Helen felt more powers being pumped into her skin as she forced more water to converge and forces thunder to react by clapping and making everyone jump, at this point... Helen's eyes had completely turned white, she was trembling making sure to use her power to the fullest of its potential by making the clouds burst out the water it and sucked in and creating heavy thunderstruck and storms in effect, rains fall and everything started to get cold. She made it continue to rain nonstop until few demons find their way into the hospital completely wet. "Worst mistake of your life" Helen gritted harshly letting out her wings which was now oozing out ice vapour. "I think she finally learnt how to control her icy nature" Rose whispered softly to Ruby watching as Helen flap her wings and send a heavy snow wind powerful enough that it froze the demons at the door, then she closed her eyes and moved her hands rhythmically such that both hands performed a dance and then she stopped and turned towards Ruby, Morgan and Rose who were terrified to their pants, seeing how every step Helen took was marked by snow. "You have nothing to worry about now, those demons are dead" Morgan could swear Helen's voice sounded like two people talking but he disregarded and nodded watching Helen clicked her finger creating several noises of something exploding just not loud enough to be considered a bomb explosion but it still explosion, before the three Angel's could figure what it was Helen passed out and the rain slowly stopped allowing the sun to finally shine...then Damian approached them, the funny thing is, he was staring at them in a funny way and they were all now invincible. -------------
