Crystal frowned after her mom left realizing Helen was gone and she might actually not come back. She heaved a soft sigh and climbed onto her bed went through Damian's message again and smiled before finally replying with 'Okay'. Crystal was about to turn off the light when she recalled what Helen had told her about the light, she stared at the light for a while before going under her covers and was slowly falling asleep before she felt a hand on her, she shifted uncomfortably and corrected her position but she could sense something was on her skin; startled she fluttered her eyes open but when she looked around nothing was there. She looked around for a minute to ensure there was nothing around but then she figured her window was opened, which made her brows instantly furrow since her mom had closed the window herself before she left her room but that didn't freak her out though, she just walked up to to the window and shut it but by the time she turned, her side lamp's bulb busted earning a sharp cry from her. Feeling terrified, Crystal tried to run out of her room but it was locked tight and no matter how much she tried to open it, it was locked shut. She start to bang on the door in an attempt to alert her parent but then, she heard whispers in the dark calling to her, trying to subdue her but for some reason, it wasn't working on her. "Take her, I can't subdue her," A voice said and two hands immediately grabbed her by the arm which instantly had her screaming for her parents' help. "No one is going to hear you little girl and if anyone could, I'll have to add them to the list" Upon hearing that, Crystal stopped screaming so she could avoid dragging her parent into the mess she had gotten himself into but then she felt her arms grew weak, her body stopped resisting and she fell into a deep slumber and by the time her eyes opened, it wasn't her controlling her body, she frowned but it wasn't her doing the action, she jacked off her two hands from the men holding her and she seriously couldn't tell how all of a sudden she could make them out in the dark. "What are you doing? Grab her" A lady in a funny looking black Gothic costume ordered the three demons in my room but somehow Crystal grabbed the hand of one of them and twisted it sharply earning a scream from him, then grabbed him by the head and snapped his neck shocking the two remainings and the lady herself. "How could a girl-" The lady was still saying when Crystal's hand went through the second male demon that had attacked her, then she moved to the third and dig her fingers into his eyes making sure to remove his eyeballs regardless of his screaming and right before the lady demon could run off, Crystal grabbed her watching the lady whimper with just staring into her eyes. "What are you?" The lady questioned petrified by the sight of Crystal, the lady demon wasn't feeling any aura oozing out of her when she got there but then, right in front of her...her aura equals to standing next to the angel queen, a very powerful aura that repels any demons around so she knew no help was coming for her and she didn't have the chance to call for one because Crystal seized her heart from her after watching them all disintegrate. "Princess Angelique you fool," Crystal said right before the lady finish disintegrating but then she turned and found the mirror that was hanging right next to her dresser. Her eyes bulged in shock on realising what she was supposed to be but when she tried moving back to the mirror she find her limbs defying her and eventually fell down as she Crystal finally regains consciousness but fell asleep shortly afterward. Crystal woke up the second day on the floor with her face laced imprinted by the shape of her fingers which her chin had been resting on. She couldn't believe she had left her bed and rolled over to the floor right next to the bathroom, then she tried to recall what happened but everything came rather fuzzy for her. She tried to figure out how she had ended up by the bathroom door but she could hardly remember, so she gets up and started to dress for the last day of the school week. "Mom" Crystal called fixing her shoelaces by the landing as she headed down the stairs. The dining table only contained his father and his brother who seem rather concentrated on. The slices of bed in front of him. "Where's mom?" Crystal asked on meeting her father's eyes. "She had an emergency at the hospital and needed to leave, there was an accident last night and by the way, good morning to you" Hayden gave her daughter a scolding look which Crystal returned with a guilty one before speaking up. "Good morning" She muttered timidly and moved to join them at the table. Crystal had just dished herself four slices of bread and poured herself some tea when a notification came in from her phone. 'Hey, Good morning...hope you had a nice sleep, There's going to be a science competition today between the Juniors and I was hoping you'd come with me to support my sisters?' Crystal sucked in her lips to bit back her growing smile before standing but her dad noticed. "What's funny?" Hayden asked his daughter while battling with his plain white tie since his wife wasn't there to do it for him. "Nothing" Crystal immediately turned her phone upside down and turned to her food but noticed his dad's struggles. "Let me help you with that" She offered standing up from her seat and immediately moving over to her dad side and helping him with the tie, then her eyes fell on the mirror that stood at next to the doorframe of the door that led down the basement which stood not so far from her father, she recalled a brief moment when she was staring at herself in the mirror with shock. She didn't recall doing it though. "Crystal, are you okay?" Hayden called her daughter's attention realising she had frozen at what she was doing. "Yeah, I'm okay" Crystal claimed before concluding what she was doing. "And also dad, I'll be taking the bus, you can just take Jayden to school," Crystal said ransacking her bag for her headphones so she could head out but then, she figured she had forgotten them in her room. "But why is that?" Hayden asked after Crystal gave up searching her bag while wearing a frustrated look. "Because I...I wanna jog to school, it's a form of exercise- "You are going to be late though- "I'll be a fine dad...I need this" Crystal insisted before heading upstairs to get her headphones, she sighed recalled she had called her mom to inform her she would be clearing her room when she get back since she felt so lazy to after she woke up. She unlocked the door and flipped on the switch before reaching the headphones which she thought would be on her end table but unfortunately was not so she had to look for it. Crystal bent under her bed and stretched towards the headphones that were at the far end of the bed. As she draw it out she noticed a black substance like charcoal, on it...she frowned and walk around her bed to try and get where the black film was only to realize there were piles of black coal in her room, but she knew better those weren't coal, the black film was more than coal, they were remnants of the disintegrated demon. "Arghh" Crystal groaned as a memory struck her, it didn't belong to her but it was her. She had her hand around one of the demon's necks and she snapped it. That memory wasn't hers... She let out a sharp scream as another hit...but this time she wasn't in it; The princess she had seen the first time theory hit, she was with a guy...a man probably but she couldn't tell as they all looked pretty young. She was smiling, she looked happy, she was in a meadow...a beautiful garden with the man, after chuckling and giggling for a few seconds the woman announced to him. "I'm pregnant" The man froze, face struck with fear and panic which he hid too well by immediately hugging the princess. "I'm happy for us, and I want you to know that I love you and our child," The man said inhaling her deeply, then the memory stopped leaving Crystal panting. She needed to find Helen...she knew she needed to... Something is happening to her and she knew it, she raced downstairs and immediately raced to outdo the room to the bus station where she catch a bus to school. Crystal searched everywhere for Helen but she was nowhere to be found, she was terrified of what was becoming of her and started to fear if her body was slowly becoming someone else's. Then she saw Damian who smiled at her and have her weakened to her knees. "I've been looking all over for you...good morning, you had me worried when you didn't reply to my text" But instead of saying anything Crystal frowned. "Why do you sound so much like him?" Crystal muttered the question recalling the man's voice from the memory. How is it possible they had the same voice? Crystal's frown deepened. "What are you talking about?" Damian narrowed his face at him and she instantly snapped out of her shocked daze. "Sorry...I met someone that sounded just like you" Crystal forced a smile which and Damian returned warmly. "Sorry I wasn't able to respond to your message this morning, I was in a hurry to come to school. "Have you by chance came across my friend, Helen- "Oh, yeah...she said she wouldn't be able to come to school today and asked me to drop this for you" Damian handed him the envelope. "I wonder who still writes letters these days, it seems she doesn't have a cellphone" Damian tried to keep the conversation going but Crystal was distracted by the envelope she now held in her hands after removing the content. 'This paper content is written with my feather and no ordinary eye can see it; I'm sorry about my sudden disappearance yesterday, we sighted demons presence and didn't want to get you into trouble, we think we are drawing demons to you so, I decided to lay off a while. If you have any problem or have anything to ask me find a sheet of paper and use the feather inside this envelope with any ink you can get your hands on, it'll find me. I apologize for putting you into this position again and don't worry. No one will be able to see the feather as well, it's an angel's feather after all' Crystal read and bright out the extremely long, white, and incredibly peculiar feather, it was magnificent insight but then. Something shocked Crystal. "What feather is that?" Damian asked and Crystal narrowed her face at him in total disbelief? He could see it... ------ ---------
