Chap 4: Home coming

***Third Persons POV***

Luca was over joyed to be going home after being away for six years. He is 20 years old and it's time for him to take over kingdom. It is time for him to rule the werewolf community in America.

This time he is going home with his two best friends Liam Stevens who is his beta and Chase Miller his gamma along with his girlfriend of a year Shelly Stevens.

Being in the same pack, Luca never thought of Shelly being anything special until she came to visit her elder brother Liam a year ago. He saw how beautiful and attraction she looks, as she grew older and her looks have also improved over the years.

They got to know each other over a week during her visit.

And he found out they had a lot in common so they decided to date and now she is the love of his life....that is what he thinks.

"How do you feel going back home after being away since we were fourteen years old" asked Chase

Luca expression change into that of a smile before saying

" I'm happy, I will be seeing my family in a few hours and eat my mum's cooking again. I will also have the chance to introduce my girlfriend to my family, I know this will come as a big surprise to them. No one thought Shelly and I will ever date because it was Beaula they were all routing for but thing has changed though I miss her terribly. "

Chase stopped packing and sat on the bed, he was not sure of how Luca will take what he was about to say but he said it any way

" Luca, I know you think that you're in love with Shelly but are you very sure about Shelly, something seems off with her".

Luca had a confused expression on his face before replying

" Yes I'm very much in love with her and you are thinking that way because you want Beaula for me."

"Yeah I do, you two have a huge chemistry when you were together but all the same if you love Shelly then that is fine too. What will you do when your mate comes along?".Liam asked

Luca quickly muttered emotionlessly

" I will reject her. I promised marriage to Shelly so there is no turning back."

"Okay, think about it carefully, I don't want you to have any regrets in the future". Chase had a worried look on his face.

" Never" Luca replied

Chase zipped his traveling bag, followed Luca out and joined the two siblings in the car. They made their way out of the Alpha training institute to the airport.

Inside the car Shelly couldn't take her hands off of Luca as she sat on his lap and sucked on his lips pushing her tongue into his mouth until they arrived at the airport.

Those two didn't care if the car on fire as they suck on each others líps like they have been hungry for years..

" Hmmm... we are the airport love bird's you can continue this privately and Luca stop eating my little sister mouth like that it nauseating "

Liam said behaving as if he is vomiting. They all bust into laughter and made the way into the airport.

They slept throughout the journey to Florida, their home and when they alighted or got off the plane, the royal family had three cars waiting.

One for each of them, future Alpha, Beta and gamma along with their personal drivers.

The drive home was short and immediately when they entered to the pack borders the air around them changed and it felt so good to be home after a long time.

Their mind links were opened and filled with pack members welcoming them back in excitement. They were happy to be home because there's no place like home.

The royal family and the pack members were waiting eagerly for them at the entrance of the castle and immediately when they came out of their cars,

Luca was tightly hugged by her mother the Queen of werewolves Isabella Silver.

Luca's dad Alpha king Damon patted his shoulders and welcomed him home.

Luca looked around the castle saw the members of his pack smiling and he knew today is a happy day for all of them.

Shelly tighten her hand around his arm and he remembered he was with his girlfriend.

He then introduced his girlfriend to his parents and the expression on their faces were priceless, a lot of emotions were in their eyes but the distinctive one was disapproval.

But the king and Queen didn't want Shelly to see they were displeased so they directed them to the visitors room in the castle and ordered the servant to take their bags to their homes and rooms respectively.

After a short meeting with the future leaders of the kingdom, they made their way to their rooms.

Luca's smelt strawberry mixed with vanilla in the air which made his wolf stir but he just thought that is the new scent of the palace which was nice and calm the nerves.......Little did he know that was the scent of his mate.

Luca climb the stairs up to his room and unpacked his clothes since he didn't like people touching his things. He took his bath and changed his clothing.

Before he went down to the dining area for lunch, he mind link Shelly to join him at the dining table saying he wants Shelly to make good impression on his parents.

Luca slipped into his chair and greeted his parents who sat comfortable enjoying each others company.

"son I want to....." he look up at his mother but she stopped talking when someone caught her attention.

He followed her line of view and saw his girl Shelly cat walking into the room in a short and tight sexy dress.

Luca was used to seeing her dress this way but from the disapproval on his parents faces he knew he had to do something to change their perception of her.

Immediately when she sat beside him, he leaning to her ears saying in whisper

" You have to change the way you dress, my parents don't like it"

Shelly looked at him mumbling " This is how I want to dress and I like how I dress , they should start getting used to it"

She didn't know with their werewolf hearing they heard everything including her rude comments.

But the king and Queen brush it off, Luca just got home and they wanted to have a peaceful dinner with him after being away for six years.

All the royal family were waiting for their lunch when he smell strawberry mixed with vanilla again but this time it was much stronger and was coming his way, he took a deep breath taking in as much smell he could.

His eyes focused on the entrance of the kitchen until he saw the most beautiful woman he had ever come across coming to the dining table with their meal.

He took his time and observed her from head to toe, the Lady had heart shape face with a cute pouted lips , light skin, semi large beast and a very curvy hip and small waist which can be seen even the big servant uniform.

She was about 5" 8.

He couldn't take his eyes of her, she was all that he could see. The look on his face was that of admiration.

Luca continue looking at her face till they made eye contact and he couldn't move neither could he swallow his saliva with the big bright deep green eyes looking back at him.

He realize he has seen those eyes before and it strike him that is Beaula,

Beaula?

My childhood sweetheart ?

My best friend?

Luca knew she was beautiful but how did she become more beautiful with curves at the right sides just the way he loved it.

Luca sat there showing no emotions even when his wolf Luke was telling to claim mate.

He didn't make any effort to claim her or show her, he wanted her. Beaula saw this and walked back to the kitchen without saying a word.

Luca couldn't stop looking at her big a** until she entered the kitchen.

Throughout lunch he couldn't focus on the discussions at the table or what Shelly was saying.

Beaula was the only thing that filled his mind.

After lunch he asked Shelly to go back to her parents house and that he will see her at the coronation.

He then made his way to the kitchen and noticed Beaula was alone in there.

He couldn't stop himself when he pushed her against the wall and claimed her sweet pouted lips.

He possessed and dominated the kiss pushing his tongue deep into her mouth.

The kiss was sweet and perfect than anything he had ever had.

His wolf was howling in joy and shaking his tail in his mind as he muttered

" mine, mine, Mine".

He continue to kiss her aggressively till they were both out of breath and pulled away.

In an instance their eyes connected and he found himself drawn into her beautiful green eyes.

No words came out of his mouth and turn quickly and left the kitchen in Shame and guilt.

Luca went into his room and started pacing from left to right, he was confused at his own reaction.

The picture of Beaula and the kiss they shared was still imprinted on his mind and the truth of the matter was he loved every bit of it.

He felt someone trying to mind link him, so he opens his mind link and he heard his fathers voice

" come to my office now"

He headed to this father's office and knocked when his mother's voice said

" Come in son" He entered and saw his mother on his father's laps.

He took his seat before saying " You called, Father "

" Yes I did your mother and I wants to know the exact relationship between you and Shelly " he calmly said.

"She is my girlfriend father" he gently uttered.

" What will you do when you meet your mate" my mother finally spoke

Luca was quite for sometime and his thought went back to his beautiful mate in the kitchen but he also remembered the promise he made to Shelly before whispering emotionlessly

" I will reject her"

His father glared at me angrily " You will do what? do you know the moon goddess gave us mates as a gift ? and how can you reject the special gift from the goddess ?"

" Father you taught me to never break a promises and I promised Shelly marriage which I must fulfill "

Luca stood on his grounds but was disturbed with what was going on.

" If she really love you she will understand when you find your mate.

By the way I have always thought Beaula will be your mate since you two were little. The two of you have a great chemistry when you were together. Are you sure she is not you mate? " she questioned with a serious look on her face.

His father continued " Yeah, I also thought the same, she would have been a great addition to the family. Do you know even after the death of her parents she still trained and have become a fierce warrior over the months. I'm even thinking of making her your mother's personal guard."

His mother said with excitement

" I will like that I have always loved that girl since she born. I will talk to Butler John and Mary to find a replacement for her in the kitchen "

" Sure do everything you think is right my wife"

King Damon lovingly said as he kissed the queen on her cheek..... lol she blushed like a teenage girl who just met her crush.

"Back to business son, are you ready for the coronation and to be the king?" asked by his father

"I'm ready as I can ever be and this is what I have trained for, for the last six years".

Luca was extremely happy to put all his years of training into use.

" Okay, go and prepare for you coronation at 6:00pm' his mother stated.

He made his way out of the office when his dad called him

" son, your mother and I are proud of you and what you have achieved during your time of training at the institute "

"Thank you father"

Luca nodded mumbling and walked out closing the door behind me. He couldn't wipe the smile off his face, this is the first time his father has complimented him, he then entered his room as soon as got to his floor.

He opened his wardrobe and swift through his things looking for something to wear.

He took out his favourite dark green tuxedo. And with the word green he remembered his mate's deep green eyes and beautiful face " she is a true beauty " he whispered.

He shook his head dismissing the arousing thought.

He took his bath and dressed up quickly since it was almost time. He styled his black hair and put on his favourite cologne.

Shelly mind link him, that she was waiting for him at the entrance of the ball room.

He made his way to the ballroom and saw his girlfriend dressed in a beautiful expensive pink evening gown with a lot of make up on her face.

Although her perfume was too much for his nostrils to bare he couldn't do anything about it other than to accept her they way she is.

The guards at the entrance of the ballroom open the door for them and..........
