Chap 5: Coronation

***Third Persons POV.***

The guards stationed at the entrance of the ballroom opened the door for Luca and Shelly resulting in aloud c***k sound.

Everyone turned to direction of the sound and the room became quite at once.

As they gaze at Luca walking majestically with his date Shelly.

They were all filled with curiosity. They wanted to know who his date was.

Some whispers underneath their breath asking their companion if they knew Luca and Shelly were mates or not.

The ballroom accommodated over 1000 people. Werewolf kings and Queens from various kingdoms and their kids, Alphas, betas, gammas and deltas from different packs were all present to bare witness.

Not forgetting high class women and men from various packs showing off their expensive designer clothes and accessories.

The kings and Queens of vampires, fae, Bears and witches and wizards also graced the occasion with their presence.

Luca and Shelly went through the guest greeting and welcoming them to the event.

The guests were very much interested in who Shelly was to him and voiced out their thought, Luca's reply was

" She is my girlfriend "

most of them were disappointed since they were eager to meet their queen and his mate.

Luca saw this but didn't say anything and just brushed it off. Since he has already accepted Shelly as his queen.

They made their way to the stairs of the podium because the event was about to start.

Luca came across his three best friends Liam his beta, Chase his gamma and Charles his delta.

They did their bro greeting and hugged each other with delightful expressions on their faces.

Alpha king Damon wrap his hand around his mate, Luna Queen Isabella Silver. They made their way to the stage and he called for the attention of everyone in the ballroom.

" Good evening distinguish guest, you are all welcome to our home,as you already know today is the coronation of my son. Luca Ivan Silver, today is surely a happy day as my reign comes to an end.

Thank you all for the assistance and support you gave during my time in office and I hope you extend the same courtesy to my son. Thank you........And now Let's invite Luca Ivan Silver to the stage "

Everyone clapped as he made his way to the stage. The swearing in ceremony began.... The council elder in charge of it was called ...

" Do you Luca Ivan Silver son of Alpha king Damon silver and Luna Queen Isabella Silver swear to uphold the law of the kingdom and work for the benefit of the werewolves race" ask the elder

" Yes I do" said Luca in a deep masculine voice.

Alpha king Damon came up and the blood connection ceremony followed.

The king cut his palm with a shape Silver knife, drop his blood in the golden goblet and Luca did the same.

The pack witch add elixir and chants for a while. The witch gave the potion to Luca after mixing it.

Luca drunk the potion and felt connected to all werewolves in America. Luca felt stronger more than ever and released his Alpha aura.

All the guest from his kingdom went on their knees bowing before him their Alpha king.

He heard " congratulations your Majesty" from a lot of people through his mind link causing a very bad headache.

Luca closed his mind link, knelt down before king Damon as he place the golden crown on his head.

He was assisted by his father to get up and his father spoke

" My people, I give you your new King ,Alpha King Luca Ivan Silver"

The guests were screaming congratulations and clapping.

The happiness of having a new king was deeply felt. The whole werewolves race all over the world where watching Luca's coronation Live through werewolves channels as various reporter explained on their channel what was happening.

Alpha king Luca Ivan Silver started his appreciation speech

" Today is a happy day, Today is the start of a new monarchy and era in America. I promise to follow the good work done by my father and mother, the formal king and Queen. And offer my services to my people and protect them with my life. Thank you ".

Everyone clapped at his speech and felt the sincerity in it.

Isabella Silver and Damon silver went to their son, hug and congratulated him.

They told him how proud they were as his parents. They had tears on their eyes looking at their son who is now a man.

Everyone applauded and were happy with the course of events so far. The ceremony for beta, gamma and delta also took place following Luca's coronation.

Alpha king Luca Ivan Silver held Shelly by the waist as they moved through the guests.

The guests congratulated him personal, new treaty's were formed and talked about. Business partnerships were in process. Luca was fully ready to make a change in his kingdom.

After a while they moved to the dinning hall for dinner and the guests present were impressed with all the dishes and drinks and ate to their satisfaction.

In all this Beaula was looking at her mate hoping to meet his eyes but the Alpha king refused to look her way as he was talking, kissing and laughing with Shelly.

Beaula was extremely jealous at the sight of this but refuses to cry in front of all this guest. Smiling seems difficult for her at this moment but she console herself anyways.

They moved back to the ballroom as a slow tune played, the Alpha king Luca and Shelly made their way to the dancefloor dancing slowly with other couples present.

Beaula's eyes were still on his mate as he dance romantically with her ex best friend.

Chase, the royal gamma notice Beaula's sad expression and ask her for dance which she gladly accepted and moved to the dancefloor with him.

They danced for a while and her eyes connected with her mate.

Everything disappeared for her as she was in a daze but she saw an angry look on Luca's face. She became confused and furrowed her eyebrows.

His eyes changing from brown to black indicating his wolf trying to get in control.

Alpha king Luca was having an internal battle with his wolf Luke.

Luke was beyond angry as he saw another man who is not him running his hands all over his beautiful mate, Beaula who was dancing gracefully.

Luke wanted Chase's blood, he wanted to take control which Luca was against, he knew what his wolf could do if he takes control. He will surely destroy the event they took days to prepare.

Shelly felt how tense Luca was and decided to ask

" Why are you tense Luca, are you not well? " She uttered with a worried look. And to shut her up Luca pulled her in a hug as they continued to dance.

Beaula couldn't look at them anymore so directed her attention back to Chase and gave him a small fake smile.

Chase knew exactly what was happening and felt sorry for Beaula. But his hands are tied, he couldn't do anything to help her.

He has been in love with Beaula secretly for years but he knew she will never be his and has come in terms with that long time ago.

When the song ended Beaula excused herself from Chase and ambled to the dim corner of the ballroom just to be by herself.

Her wolf Kayla was on edge since their mate keeps avoiding them and displaying his affection towards Shelly publicly.

Luke finally took control after battling with Luca for a while and followed Beaula to the corner of the room. When he got there, he questioned in a baritone voice

" what the hell, were you doing with that man?" he was enraged.

Beaula gaze at him answering

" don't you have eyes? or are you refusing to see" she was hurt and angry at him.

"Don't play with me little mate.....You are mine no man can have you" He possessively warned dangerously

" But you can be with Shelly or whoever you please, if you can do that so can I. And don't pretend like you are the best mate of the year, you have been ignoring me the whole night so just go back to your girlfriend and leave me alone"

she firmly stated with sarcasm dripping from her tone.

" I want only you and no one else ....I will talk to my human to stop his stupidity " Luke promised

And he continued " I want just you and Kayla. No one else "

Beaula closed her eyes as he pressed to the wall, trailing his fingers on her face and telling her his true feelings. She was trying to resist him but her body gave up as his touch erupted sparks.

Luke moved her close into his arm and kiss the hell out of her, he deepen the kiss and suck on her mouth.

He lift her wrapping her leg around her waist as they kissed. Things were getting intense and lust flowed through the mating bond.

Beaula was wet for him and he was rock hard for her but they knew this wasn't the right place for them to go down on each other so they stopped kissing.

Luke lean his forehead against her muttering

" I will come to you soon"

Beaula was happy at his statement and replied

" I will be waiting for you" with that Luke left, gave Luca control as if nothing happened.

Beaula touched her lips smiling like a mad woman for the rest of the night.

she ambled back to her friends Lizzy and Ruby who was in the middle of a conversation with Charles and Chase

The night went by and the guests started leaving, Alpha king Luca stand at the entrance thanking the guests till the last couple left. He went back to his room with his love, Shelly.
