04 - Shocked

The weeks flew by fast but each day was torture for Diana s all she did was rest. By the sixth day, she was completely healed but Stephan refused to let her do anything and insisted age rested for another week. She spent the whole day every day, eating, resting, and drawing.
Her training was paused indefinitely and even though Jasper wanted to help, he was bounded by the Alphas command. She's been feeling the presence of another being in her head which made her so happy to know that she wasn't wolfless.
They've been chatting for days none stop and that was the only thing that kept her sane yet it also drives her crazy,
She loved her wolf but she never stopped talking. She had a lot to about everyone and everything around her just like she was doing now.
Diana had woken up this morning with no interest in going to school but here she was, picking up her outfit for the day. Today's gonna be her 1st day in school after what happened.
Groaning in displeasure, Diana picked up a blue cropped top to match her sparkly blue eyes. As she was about to pick up baggy jeans, Raine, her wolf grunted in displeasure.
'Pair it will the black ripped jeans on the right. That will suit us better and highlight our figure'. She said, smiling proudly at the last sentence.
"That's the main reason we should avoid it plus, the top is already tight enough. I'm already displeased with how much is in display with this top and you expect me to even show more skin?" Diana complained, staring at the blue cropped top she was wearing, the sleeves were right beneath her shoulders, it had around next but the back was basically ropes tangled together.
She loved the design but she was a little unhappy with how much skin was showing. Her mom went all out in changing her wardrobe. This is something she would gladly wear outside of the pack but will only cause her more problems. Sighing, she picked up the ripped jeans and a matching black jacket to cover up the back of the top. She wore blue Nike shoes to match, tied her hair in her usual messy bun, and left her bedroom with her bag.
As she walked down the stairs she could hear the men talking about pack business and couldn't help but shake her head in amusement.
"Good Morning Dad, Good Morning bro" she greeted
"Good Morning my Angel how was your night?"
"Fine Dad" she replied as she walked over to the kitchen.
On getting there, her mom and Amelia were having breakfast together so she took her seat and began to fill up her plate.
"Isn't that too much honey?" Mary asked
"It's not much mom" she lied with ease, she couldn't possibly tell them she won't be having lunch at the cafeteria.
She seemed to believe her but Amelia didn't she looked at her trying to read her but failed to do so.
Diana happily munched on her meal when Stephan walked into the kitchen and gave his wife a passionate kiss.
"I'll be back before you know it," Stephan said.
"Hmm, I'll wait" Amelia replied with a loving smile.
Looking at his sister with so much love and a few complicated emotions, he said "Finish quick, I'll drop you off on my way out"
"No need bro, I'll be fine on my own. I haven't exercised much in a while so I would like to walk to school today". She replied with a smile.
Stephan smiled back at her, greeted everyone, and left the house. Soon after, she was done with her meal and she headed out of her home to school.
She already knew that Jasper wouldn't be driving her today as he had to leave with Stephan.
Walking through the gates, memories of the past began to make their way to her mind threatening the inner peace she has built but she is even more determined to make it through the day.
Stepping into the building, she walked with her head held high with little to no care in the world about the stares she was getting. That didn't stop people from talking and she didn't care. Reaching her locker she unlocked it and was relieved to see that her things were as she had left them. She didn't have the time to pack up the last time given the conditions of her departure.
"Who do we have here? I didn't think you would have the guts to come back here Diana". Clarissa taunted with a smirk making her entourage laugh
Diana was angered by her sudden appearance and the fact that she even spoke to her. That too about the past, she had hoped they would avoid her and want nothing to do with her but as per her bad luck, unpleasant things keep happening to her. She ignored the blonde girl who was once her best friend before walking away in the direction of her first class.
Clarissa was infuriated by her behavior, she wanted to see her cry and she wanted her to know her place but no, she dared to ignore her.
She had to do laundry for an entire week because of this b***h and she wanted her to pay. Determined to show Diana who was boss, she rushed up to her, spun her around, and raised her hand to slap her when Diana caught her wrist.
"Am warning you now Clarissa, leave me alone". She said with an icy cold voice. This wasn't the girl Clarissa remembered she was shocked that she defended herself.
A lot of gasps were heard around them but Diana couldn't care less about what they thought about her as they were the least of her worries. All she cared about was getting stronger, her upcoming birthday, and mating with Jasper.

Jordan was sitting in Stephans office when they got a call on the Alphas landline.
Jordan signaled Julius to pick it up and he did.
"Hello, this is Julius, the beta of Crescent Moon Pack," Julius said
The person began to say something, Julius put the phone on speaker, and what they heard, shocked them to the bones
Looking at Jordan, he asked "what do we do?"
"Handle it" he replied
