Maddox's POV
I start running out of breath but I still hold Zelda's face close to mine. She pulls away only to look at me once and jogs towards the other side of the car. I quickly unlock the doors so she can hop in.
She quickly leans again and holds my face with both her hands. She is kissing me again and Ajax is howling in my mind. I let him howl. Moments earlier, I thought this was going to be a goodbye kiss. But the way we are kissing right now, I don't think we are going to seperate anytime soon.
Zelda pulls away trying to catch a breath and I smile at her.
"Does this mean -"
"No. Don't jump to conclusions yet. I only know that I like you too much to let you go for a reason I did not even dream of" she whispers and I nod.
