Maddox's POV
I take a step forward and Zelda takes a step backward with a jerk. She is clearly afraid. She looks surprised, upset and afraid. I can feel Ajax's guilt as he gives me the control back.
I slowly walk towards Zelda and she stumbles, as she walks away. She hits a rock and falls down but her eyes are still on me. She doesn't attempt to stand up. She just sits there and looks at me with tears in her wide eyes.
"T-this is not real" She whispers.
