Asher's POV
"Well it indeed is a great idea! Why don't you make a decent donation as well?" Sienna asks me.
"We are honestly running a little low on funds. The last few months have been downhill. We are getting back at it, but one step at a time" I shrug as I look at the document again.
Supposedly it is a school for supernaturals and kids of witches, werewolves, vampires, mermaids, fairies and elves are in for now. Well, werewolves will add only if I sign but I am already halfway to it, so..
"Then let us sell the restaurant" she says and I look at her.
"What?" I ask her.
"The restaurant I stupidly bought just because Logan works there.. that one" Sienna says as she shifts Gigi to her other arm, so she can give her other breast for feeding.
"I know what you are referring to. I don't know why you are referring to that" I say and she rolls her eyes.
"Come on, Asher" Sienna pauses as she looks at me,"you do know that it was a stupid move. I don't need that kind of property now. I even lost the person who I bought it for!"
I have no words for it so I sit silently, thinking of ways to tell her that it's not a good idea. But who am I kidding? She is Sienna Jones! Who can see right through me. So I decided to keep it straight.
"No one is going to lay a finger on that place. I am already making sure the economy is building up. I am a millionaire in the human world, Sienna. It's okay. I can fetch funds from there to here" I shrug telling her that it is not really a big issue.
She doesn't say anything as she rocks little Gigi to sleep. But when I see she is struggling a little, I take Gigi from her into my arms.
"You don't have to" she says but I just shake my head at her.
"It's not about whether I have to or not.. because I want to" I say and Sienna smiles.
I rock Gigi like I used to rock Deedee when she was this little. It brings back memories of the days when I was a terrible father. It is never too late to restart things, I guess.
I turn around to look at Sienna but she is already sleeping. I smile as I stand by her bed. Gigi is asleep as well. I mindlink Holly to come take Gigi to her nursery. And once I know that it's just Sienna and me, I sit on the chair beside her bed.
I grab the document again and go through everything one last time before signing the last signature.
At the donations column, I mentioned our names and the sum we are willing to donate. We are running low on funds recently, but the businesses on human land are doing just fine. I should just swap a little so I can get them here.
I kiss Sienna on her forehead and walk to the babies nursery. Holly is rearranging all the toys by the time I go there and she bows to me once before walking out.
I look at Delilah. There is no way anyone can take her away from me. Even if it is for the world's peace. f**k the peace, I would let everyone walk through hell but I would not send my daughter with someone else.
I kiss Gigi and Deedee before walking out of their room only to catch a whiff of the familiar scent again.
"I am home" I hear his voice and I look downstairs with a smile.
My dad is standing there, looking around and by the looks of it.. he caught Sienna's scent. He follows it to her room.
There is absolutely no one in the pack who doesn't like her. It hurts seeing her this way but I also pray to the Moon Goddess every single day that at least she is alive.
"Will you ever get another chance to tell her how much you love her even after everything that has happened?" Dash asks me.
"I don't have an answer to that, Dash"
