Asher's POV (a few months later)
"Yes. Yes. One more step. You are doing great. Yeahhh" I smile wide as I look at Sienna who is slowly starting to walk.
Both Deedee and Gigi are giggling through their baby chairs. It's been hectic for the past few months but now it's just great.
"Oh My God! I can walk without help now" Sienna squeals in joy while I am still here, cheering her on this.
I smile wider watching her squeal in happiness. The pack is safe until the next crimson ritual. Sienna is here. Deedee and Gigi are growing up healthy. Everything seems fine.
But there is this uncontrollable and strong instinct that is telling me that something is still filling up. And that the story is not over. That the last crimson ritual actually made way to something even bigger.
I forcefully shove that thought inside and focus on the present. I have Sienna. Sienna is actually here. That means a lot. Even if I lost everyone on this planet and I had Sienna, I would still be okay.
Okay maybe Deedee and Gigi too. But yeah.. I am happy right now because I have these people with me.
"Can I please take my role as the Gamma again? Please Asher" Sienna asks as she uses her puppy eyes and voice.
"Ohh yeah. So when something dangerous happens, you limp your way out? Perfect!" I say and she rolls her eyes at me.
She slowly walks back towards me and then towards our babies. I smile as she interacts with Deedee and Gigi. It's like they really are sisters. Sienna doesn't even show any sort of difference between them both.
For months she breastfed both of them. And now that they are even starting solids. I mean.. having solid foods. Apple puree is by far their favorite food and they absolutely love listening to Sienna as they sleep.
"Who is my good girl? Who is my good girl?" Sienna asks in a baby voice as she tickles Deedee,"yes you are. Yes you are"
She then does the same to Gigi as well. And that is when I receive a mindlink from Ivan.
"Drake is here. Shall I grant him permission to enter the pack lands, Alpha Asher?"
"Yes. Sure. Ask him to be quiet though" I end the mindlink and see that Sienna is still playing with the girls.
"Yeahhhh! Did you see? Your mama can walk now" she says as she looks at the girls and I just stare at her. She just called Deedee her daughter too.
"Late to the party. But at least attended it" Drake screams as he walks in and I smack my forehead.
Yes I made sure to let him know that he needs to be quiet. I wanted to surprise Sienna but now he literally announced his arrival.
"Oh My God Drake" Sienna squeals again as she tries to walk fast but she ends up falling down and she screams in the process.
"You see kids? This is her!" I say sarcastically, lifting her up in my arms and making her sit on the couch.
"I was just excited, okay" she justifies herself as she looks at Drake again.
Drake hugs her even though she was sitting and he couldn't just wipe off his smile on his face.
"What?" Sienna asks him as he pulls away.
"It just feels so nice to see you this way again. And you have your children now? It is so crazy" Drake says and when I am about to correct that she just has a baby and not children, Sienna beats me to it in another way. Actually Drake never really visited after Sienna slipped into a coma. This is probably the first time in a while. So he doesn't know that Deedee is my daughter.
"I know right. Those two little angels are the best. Literal bundles of joy" Sienna says totally ignoring the fact that Drake called them both as her children.
Internally,.. deep down... I just couldn't stop blushing. Our children.
