Delilah's POV
There is this constant buzzing in my head. Trying to break through the walls I didn't even pull up in the first place. Something that feels like it's over the edge of my mind but with one step in and another step out.
"Deedee" Gigi calls me and I look at her. I try staying focused but it's been a week since this is happening. I don't know what's wrong but I'm afraid people would think I'm a monster because of this. Because everyone else seems normal. I need to act normal too.
"What? I zoned out again, didn't I?" I smile sheepishly but the buzz only increases with each passing minute.
"Would you help me with the peanut butter cookies? I'm bored and I want to make some" Gigi says as she stands up from her bed.
"I'll probably take a nap. My head hurts somehow" I tell h
