Asher's POV
I sign the last of the paperwork for the day and sink deeper into the chair. I close my eyes for a moment and breathe out loud. Things have been robotic since last week. Even Deedee and Gigi have stopped asking me why it is so dangerous outside.
Sienna is now even more careful with everything. She is installing cameras in the pack house today. She is so sure that nothing and no one is going to take Deedee away.
Someone knocks on the door and I see it is Ivan. I nod at him asking to come in and he does.
"I tried mindlinking you a few times" he says and I recall switching off all the links because Dash was a little noisy in my head today.
"I switched it off. Is it anything important?" I ask him as he sits in one of the chairs at the table.
"Lilith waited for a while.
