Amara, she was trying her best not to look back at Stanley whom she knew startled with the fact that she can fly. No one in this Holy University knew that she got this ability except her best friend Gillian and in the outside, in their village, only her mother and Gillian's grandmother knows her capability.
She then throw a water ball straight to the head of the animal that groaned in pain. She wasn't wrong at all, this strange creature was looking at her and she doesn't know why. She even tried to look at the mind and the deeper part of this animal. However, she found nothing.
Prince Stanley went back to his senses when he saw Amara fly towards the head of the animal. His eyes widened while watching her attempting to step her feet unto the head.
"Amara! Stay away from that creature!" He yelled for he doesn't know what else does this creature could do to beat them both and he couldn't let Amara get hurt.
But Amara didn't mind Stanley, she was still eyeing at the head near at the horn where she sees something like a ball of a power. Her eyes narrowed for that thing seems to be very familiar, she saw that in the book she accidentally had an interest to read. She released a water bow and arrow to attack without minding if this one's still hot. She still have no idea what just happened with the ball they got from the mountain.
She saw Stanley throwing his power to the animal but still seem not working. Now, she was certain that it's really not an ordinary animal. This one is controlled with power and according to the thing she was seeing, neither of the Holiesters can control such kind of power.
"Are you okay?" Asked the Prince the moment she stood up right beside him. She nodded, "confirmed, this is a controlled animal."
Stanley looked at that strange creature and nodded. He believes in her, he know she knows what she is saying. "We have to report it to the director," said the Prince and Amara nodded.
"But we can let this one out of our sight, we have to make sure first that it will not be gone before the Mr. Director and the council came. I can look it up and I will wait for you with the council."
The Prince stopped like he is not liking the suggestion she mfakes.
"Amara I am not leaving you here alone." said Stanley in a hard tone.
She looked at Stanley and she would tell the same. She couldn't let the Prince face this creature by himself. He will just be in danger, but she also couldn't be so careless of releasing the other elements that stayed in her body. This creature probably has something to do with demons and she doesn't have an idea where that ball came from. F
It wasn't written in the book and that is why she has to be careful for she was clueless. She then remember Gillian.
*"Gillian, come over here. But before you come here, ask some help from the Council. Tell them that the Prince is in need of their help."** she called Gillian over telepathy.
*"What happened?"*
Amara can sense how much Gillian panicked like something bad just happened.
"Stanley!"
Amara was panting when she quickly released and put a shield for Stanley when the animal blown a fire ball. The creature were releasing a non-stop fire ball and it's getting heavy for her. In her left hand, she make a water dagger to try if it could just at least s***h the body of that thing.
"Get me out of here, Amara!" She heard Stanley shouted from the inside of the barrier she made. She nodded and removed it. Without thinking a second, she throw all the water dagger she made but all those weapon vanished just like a thin air when it touches the body of that animal.
"It's still not working," said Amara.
"Amara!"
"Stanley!"
"Prince Stanley!"
"Amara, what happened? Are you hurt? What is that?" Gillian immediately succored her to check on her and really do sound concern.
"What is that?" Hailey asked and stood up to filled the space between Stanley and Amara. "Stanley, are you okay?"
"Amara, watch out!"
Amara quickly raised her hand to release a shield for both her and Gillian and they ducked in unison. It was Stanley shouted and now,he is standing in front of them both. "G, that creature is being controlled by the demons."
Giuia stared at her shocked and had her eyes widened looking at that creature. "So the appearance explains"
"We have to catch that thing!" Mr. Director said and pointed that creature calling the strongest students and guards including the council of the Holy University.
However, before even the holiesters can make a move, the animal vanished with no trace but left a laugh that would tremble the knees of the weak.
"It's gone," Gillian uttered.
Hailey was about to touch Stanley's face tp check on him but the Prince went to check on Amara and that pissed Hailey big time.
"Thank you for saving my life so many times," said the Prince.
While the council and Mr. Director were getting busy checking the area where that animal stood up, Amara was about to leave the place but Stanley stopped her as he faced her.
"I would do everything I can for everyone I see in need of help, your highness," Amara responded and looked at straight to his eyes.
"Why the hell that animal came in here and why did that one attacked you guys? Who summoned that creature? Was it you, Amara?" Camille burst out and even glared to Amara who is now trying herself not ot give a damn to Camille.
She even caught Kean intently looking at her like he has something to tell or what but Amara didn't bother to ask what that would be.
"Camille, really?" Amara held Gillian's arm to stop her when she faced Camille out of frustration after hearing that accused. But her best friend didn't mind her. "What kind of brain do you have to think of something like that? If there is someone I would believe that is capable of doing such thing? To put Holiesters in danger, that would be you, Royals!"
"G, stop..."
Camille gasped and Hailey was about to slap Gillian but Amara was fast enough to catch her hand before it landed on her best friend's face.
"You... Let go of my hand, class 2!" Hailey angrily said trying to get her arm off Amara's grip.
"We have been trying to keep out distance away from you royals but seems like you are stepping the path coming to out direction. Princess Hailey, no one is giving you a right to lay your filthy hand on a class 2 like me and Gillian, even to the lowest classes," said Amara without showing any emotions.
She's nearly provoked by the attitude of these two. As much as she wanted to keep peace on her way with her best friend, these royals just suddenly came into the picture to ruin it and keep ruining it.
"Let go of her," said Kean that made Amara smirked while looking at his asshole and douchebag of a brother.
"Hailey stop that. You are making a scene in the middle of this problem? Can you put yourself once in a decent and in a proper place?" Stanley grabbed Hailey's hand of and put it down.
Once again, Hailey wanted to kill Amara for taking Stanley on her side and she noticed it for like several time.
"Stanley what the hell are you doing?" said Camille narrowing her eyes in disbelief.
"Royals..."
Stanley turned his back at them and walked towards the Director that called for them. Hailey on the other hand stayed standing facing Amara with her death glare that Amara didn't even blink for.
"You do know you are crossing the line, don't you Amara?"
"I am not and never crossed any line of you, Hailey," she calmly responded.
"Just to remind you this one last time, Amara, Stanley is mine."
Amara took a deep breath with that and didn't said anything when Hailey bumped her shoulder to turn her heels at them. She gulped for she know Hailey was saying fact.
"Let's go out of here," she said and was about to grab Gillian's hand when someone grabbed hers and in just a blink of an eyes, she found herself in a different place.
"I'm sorry, but I need to talk to you, Amara."
She looked at the man who grabbed her here. The Prince.
"Prince Stan---"
"Stanley." He cut her off. "Amara, what Hailey said wasn't true."
Amara smiled and faced the Prince. "Weather is it true or not, I don't think you need to explain that to me. Prince Stanley, we are not friends and we never were. I don't need any explanations and if you still want to have me and Gillian in your team for missions, I would still ask sorry for I still don't want to part of your team."
She would want top applaud herself for not stuttering despite of the loud nervousness she all of a sudden felt while standing in front of the Prince that never happened before. She was about to turn her back when Stanley held her hand but that is not the thing that stopped her right there. It was what he just said.
"I like you."
