"Are you okay? What really happened, Amara?"
They're on their way to the train station for she doesn't feel like using any of her abilities. Gillian's been asking her things right after she went back on her side. What Stanley said keeps on playing on her head and she do seems bothered about it and that is what she didn't like about.
"Nothing important," she replied trying to avoid Gillian's gaze. And when she could seen the train coming, she held her best friend's hand to teleport to the class 2 gate's village.
"What happened? I thought we are going to be riding the train? Are we not going to the Holy Market?" Gillain asked confused when they landed in front the gate of the village.
"I just----"
"I do not know what's with you but I really do feel something not right at the very first time that I had my eyes landed on you."
Amara quickly turned to see who's talking behind her and saw their royal teacher with her arms crossed over her chest while looking straight to her eyes with that narrowed eyes.
"Lady Penelope," she and Gillian uttered in unison.
"Lady Penelope, what are you doing here?" asked Gillian.
The royal teacher looked at them both but stopped her eyes to Amara. Amara then remembered the scene she had with this royal teacher, she know that from the very first time they had faced with each other, the royal teacher badly want to end her life and for the reason, she doesn't know.
"Don't worry, Gillain. I am not here for you but for the famous, Amara, the daughter of the woman I despised the most," said the Lady Penelope while gritting her teeth but has that smile on her face.
"With all due respect, Lady Penelope, I want to know why you are here and what do you need from me?"
"You are so much a-like with your mother," said the royal teacher smiling. "You are both strong and independent. You are both fearless and you are both unpredictable. I hate your mother so much, Amara."
"Sure, Lady Penelope. Is that all?"
Amara is so sick with people saying how much they hate and despised her mother on her face like she care. She wouldn't care other people because she loves her mother so much that she is willing to kill and die for the sake of the only person that is there ever since she was a kid.
"You are both have no decency in your body." Amara narrowed her eyes with that. "I am so sorry for you have to be born by the woman who knows nothing but to ruined a bond between two people and you are becoming the same."
"Lady Penelope, I suggest you now to stop making up stories about my mother. I don't want to lost respect towards you."
Lady Penelope looked down and only smiled when she looked back to her. Amara is starting to lost patience.
"Amara, let's go? I don't think this conversation is leading into something useful," said Gillian holding her elbow.
"Stay away from the Prince."
Amara stopped. "I am not even getting myself close to the Prince, Lady Penelope. Why are you royals so hot about me?"
"Because I know your kind, Amara." The royal teacher walked closer to her. She clenched her fist in frustration.
"If your mom got lucky being alive after she got pregnant with King's son, you think you will survive if you would get into the Prince? The son of the King of Kings and Queen of Queens? Dream on, Amara. Of all young royals, only Hailey fitted to be part of the Flores'."
Amara was panting and catching her breath as she was trying hard to control herself not to do anything against the royal teacher.
"Lady Penelope, what are you talking about?" asked Gillian
"I have no idea where you guys have gotten the idea of me being with the Prince when I was nobody ever since the very first day I have stepped my feet in at the Holy University," said Amara, spitting the fact.
She was never been a special student in Holy University because of her being a class 2 Holiester. Hailey hated her in silence, she was certain with that especially when she was able to surpass Hialey in a battle and even in the academics. She was hated much more for being shared with half blood to Kean who happened to be despised brother.
"You better know your place, Amara. You know what would be the outcome if you would fearlessly fight with royals, don't you?"
Before she could have the chance to respond what does the royal teacher just said, Lady Penelope vanished in just a blink of an eye. Amara blinks for the scene and the words Stanley told her do really bothered her a lot. She couldn't believe she just heard that for she couldn't look back a time where they had a nice and plain conversation.
"What is happening, Amara?" asked Gillian, "why the hell Lady Penelope think that you and Prince Stanley have a thing?"
"I don't know," Amara answered and took a step forward towards their gate.
"I know you have this ---"
"Gillian shut up, that's over a decade ago."
"But I am right?"
"I am not telling anything, so you should stop thinking things. I am trying so hard tp never get involved with Royals but seems like I am lacking still." Amara combed her hair with her fingers
"They were the one that keeps on coming closer, Amara. Look, we can't do anything about it but having them around, it's crazy, there is no peace around those Holiesters. They have issues, everything about them is problem and we are being and getting involved."
Amara stopped walking when something popped up in her mind. She looked at Gillian with her eyes asking, "what happened in there? What did the council and Mr. Director do? Is there anything came after that strange creature?"
Gillian sighed and shakes her head, "nothing but Hialey threatened me that she will never go easy on your life at the Holy University and even outside the school." Gillain faced her with that seriousness on her face and eyes. "I can bet, the Prince, he is into you."
"I am certain that the creature, the animal wasn't an ordinary nor not even a real animal. It was controlled by the demons."
Gillian's eyes widened with what she just said. They're getting closer to their house and while saying those words, and to make sure that nobody would be able to hear them, she put a shield over them.
"W-what?!" Her best friend couldn't believe it. "Amara, we haven't seen a demons our whole lives."
"Sure." She nodded. "But the explosion and that creature, I am certain that they are made by the demons. They couldn't enter at the center of the Holy University because it was protected by the Queen herself, that is why they attacked the outside where most of the students didn't go."
She pushed the door of their house when they reach it and just like what her mother told her, just like she always do, she put the entire house inside the shield where nobody can hear what is happening from the inside.
"What do you mean? How could you say that it was demons?"
"Because it's not demons, is there anyone else that would do that? Knowing that the King and Queen would never spare those who are going to do things that would put the Holiesters lives in danger? Plus, I saw the red dot on that creature's horn and that was the demon's symbol, remember the one I showed you at the library? The one that I have found in the book?"
"Decades have passed since the demon's attacked. We weren't even born that time and now they are making a scene and was getting the attention of the Holiesters. They even targeted the young ones." Gillian sighed.
"The most strange thing was that, that creature were looking at me like was trying to get into my mind."
