Chapter 11: Echoes and Roars
As expected, Judd picked Avery up at six in the evening in his Ram 2500. By then, a blizzard had taken over Templeton and dumped seven inches of snow within the last two hours. Swirls of wind and snow led to a severe storm warning on Channel 8. Katy Davidson called it a revolutionary storm that would smother the tristate area. Cold, icy, and spiraling wind domed the city, and more snow would fall by dawn. Not that it prevented Avery and Judd from leaving for the hockey game and an evening spent together.
