Again, business just happened to be slow at Avery’s Corner Thrift from nine in the morning until five in the early evening. A few regulars found their way into the place, looked around, but didn’t purchase anything grand or spectacular. Fortunately, he had stashed away some cash sales from summer travelers vacationing in the area. Avery used the saved money during the late fall and winter months to pay his rent for The Cavity and his thrift store, which lessened his stress level and proved that he could keep both places.
