Ceremony's Conflicts!

"He thought she was his and she was easy to get tamed but she was everything else than this..."

~three days later, Diamond Heart Pack~

Cleo’s pov

“So, what do you think?” I ask Bree after I have sent her a photo of me ready for the ceremony.

“You just rock! You are breathtaking baby! They are all going to admire at you!” she replies touched and I laugh.

“Yes, show that bastard what he is missing!” Kevin that is next to her yells and I stiffen.

I told them everything about Thor the following day after I was back home because I can’t hide myself from them and they are still trying to calm down!

Bree and Kendra were screaming telling me to kill him and scatter his pieces everywhere in the territory next time he touches me, Callie got overwhelmed from the pregnancy and began sobbing and Kevin with David were one step away from coming here to kill Thor. Kevin was in the worst condition of all, he couldn’t calm down and Bree with their older brother managed to prevent him from coming here because he had already began packing his things. We have a special bond, he is my best friend’s older brother, we have lots of things in common, we adore each other and there is a bigger sympathy between us!

“Come one Kev! I told you that after that night he is not approaching me! Stop reminding me of him if you want to help me!” I reply sighing heavily and he groans.

“But I know you are in pain and I can’t accept it! You deserve much more than him and he… f**k my life! Why don’t you want me to come? You know I won’t cause any trouble, I just want to make sure you are alright! And I want to talk to William as well, at least there is someone there that knows and can support you!” he replies in frustration and I bite my lower lip fighting not to cry for the first time after three days of being ‘fine’.

“Kevin… Could you please leave me alone for a while? I want to talk to Cleo in private and you are not helping her very much right now anyway!” Bree says angrily and I listen to him growling.

“Fine damn it! Cleo babe, don’t forget that I love you and you will be a fantastic Beta! Try to enjoy it, it’s your night so have fun, drink, dance and laugh! Call me at any time to tell me how it went!” he says cheerfully after some seconds and I smile on my own through the mirror.

I just love him, he is very sweet and supportive!

“Thank you my hero! I love you too!” I reply and after a while Bree clears her throat and sighs.

“Alright, now that Kevin is not here to get mad and start shouting I want to ask you and I need the truth!” she starts and I just roll my eyes waiting for her to continue.

“Are you sure you are alright? Every time we talk you say you are fine, I asked the others and they told me the same but I know you better than anyone and from your voice and only I can see how hurt you are! Tonight you look like a goddess but your eyes are betraying you, they are not shining anymore!” she says worried and Clea murmurs something emotional.

She knows me so f*****g well and I can’t hide myself from her! I am lying to everyone because I don’t want them to pressure me with advices and all these, not that I don’t appreciate their concern and love but talking about it is not helping me. I am acting all the time here, especially in front of William because he is extremely mad at Thor after that night’s incidents and I don’t want him to fight with Thor and risk the others to find out!

But with Bree… I just can’t lie anymore, I need someone to know!

“Look, I am trying to deal with it but I admit it hurts like hell and I don’t for how long I will be able to act like everything is ‘perfect’! Okay, the others believe that Thor and I are distant after he got mad at me for Kevin and the ‘pregnancy’ and I don’t have to be close to him anymore but it is still a torture! And that b***h… You can’t imagine how I am holding back!” I reply and tap my fingers on the makeup toilet while looking at me in the mirror.

“At least he sent her away for some days, right?”

“Yes, she has an older sister to Australia and I don’t know what happened but yesterday he sent her there for about one week!”

“That’s something baby but… Have your eyes open because I don’t like him… Clea is right, he is dangerous! He broke into your room with your mothers, friensd and so many people in the pack house and he could have… f**k, I don’t even want to imagine it! He is fearless and shameless!” she says in frustration with extra wary and I shake my head trying to forget that night.

I understand exactly what she doesn’t want to imagine and I agree with her although I couldn’t until last night… He could…

I don’t know why I slowly believe it but Clea and Bree are way too sure about it and even the thought is killing! This would be the worst he could do and…

No, there is no way I would have allowed it to happen! As long as I live he is not touching me again, I am not afraid of him, I am afraid of nothing!

“Forget about it now girl! Nothing happened!” I mutter under my breath wanting to enlighten the mood feeling her nervousness.

“I want you to promise me something Cleo and I am serious here, more serious than ever!” she says with trembling voice that makes me sniffle ready to cry.

She is so worried about me and maybe more worried than I should have been, I feel awful for putting her in this condition although I would have felt the same for her in a familiar situation.

“Yes?”

“You will take care of yourself and you will try to stay away from him as much as possible! If you get tired or he does anything inappropriate then just leave! Come here to us, you know how much we all love you or if you want something else then ask from our King to become his permanent warrior! You have his personal number, he loved you and you know that this is a big deal! Don’t risk your safety or happiness there! Promise me!” she says in a tone I had never heard from her before and my hands start shaking.

“She is right! Just promise it and make sure you keep it!” Clea states firmly and I nod to her immediately.

“You have my word Bree! I promise you!” I announce determinate and she sighs relieved.

“Thank you! You know how much I love you and I miss you like crazy, right?” she asks and I laugh with someone knocking my closet room’s door.

It’s my mom’s scent!

“Come in mom!” I yell and the door opens.

She gets in smiling emotional (she is crying from now) dressed in an elegant black cocktail dress, her long hair is up on a chic high bun with a quite natural makeup and a black velvet jewelry’s box in her hands.

“Bree, I love you too and I miss you! My mom just came so I will call you later, okay?” I say standing up.

“Yes! Kill them all Beta!” she replies and I laugh before she ends our call.

I leave my phone on the makeup toilet and turn to my mom that is already walking to me with her eyes travelling up and down my body filled with tears.

“How do l look like? What do you think?” I ask her impatient for her opinion and she shakes her head overwhelmed.

She hadn’t seen the dress till now because I brought it from New York (my college was there) and I wanted this to be a surprise. I was with the girls because Bree is also going to be her pack’s second Beta joining Kevin and their older brother that is the Alpha and Kendra with Callie wanted to help us with David joining us because we wanted his opinion as a man with generally good taste!

So let me tell you what dress I saw and fell in love with immediately!

Its color is royal blue and it is made from satin fabric. I usually don’t like ‘short’ dresses but this dress is a short length ‘A’ line with ‘V’ neck and off the shoulders and it hugs my body perfectly!

As for the rest, I decided to have my long hair up in a high tail with my hair in big waves, my makeup is light like I prefer it with a rose, not very sparkling eye shadow, black mascara, a rose rouge and a dark rose matte lipstick and I also bought a pair of high scandals in silver color.

I really love it but I want to know my mom’s opinion!

“Mom? Don’t you like it?” I ask worried when she reaches me but keeps on being silent.

“How could I not like it? You look like a princess, your father is right!” she exclaims ready to break in sobbing and hugs me tightly.

It’s like these hugs of hers that cut my breath and have big possibilities of breaking my bones but this time I don’t stop her or tell her to relax her hold. I have never seen her so emotional and proud and I don’t want to ruin it, I am happy she feels this way!

“I am glad you liked it! I wanted you to approve it!” I mutter breathless doing my best to hide the fact that I start being in pain and fortunately she pulls a bit back and smiles with some tears falling for her eyes.

“But… Something is missing…” she murmurs sniffling and pulls the black velvet box in front of me.

“What is this?” I ask excited yet surprised and she shakes her head innocently.

“It’s a gift… From your grandfather! He had given it to me when I got married to your father. You never met him because he died but he gave it to me and asked me to give it to my daughter if I make one. And… He also wrote a note…” she whispers and opens the box slowly.

I gasp breathless when the beautiful necklace appears and I can’t stop myself from crying softly. My heart is beating like crazy and I don’t know why but I find myself too lost in it.

“It’s an amethyst quartz, music box locket that he wanted you to wear it like a necklace and he ordered it specifically for his granddaughter! I hope you like it as much as I do!” she continues and I nod quickly.

“It’s amazing!”

“And read this small note… He explains everything!” she adds and I take the small card in a heart’s shape that is in the box next the necklace.

I open it immediately not wanting to lose time and I start reading:

   ‘My dear girl, in our family we have a costume to give an advice to the younger members. This small present from me is symbolic but important and my advice is one… Follow your heart and you will never lose, trust her and she will guide you!

This necklace has a unique melody and it is unique with no other like it, it is just like your heart!

Keep it until you find the one that is going to win your heart and then trust it to him! Hopefully he is going to take care of it!

“Oh my Goddess! The same advice was grandma Stella giving to me!” I exclaim and my mom nods with me one step away from sobbing!

“Yes… She loved him very much and she had been following his every advice blindly! She wanted to do the things he would have done if he was alive!” she replies and I lift my head to look at her trembling more than before.

She looks so…

Broken!

“Are you alright?” I ask her worried observing her getting worse and she nods as I put her to sit and kneel in front of her.

“I just missed them, that’s all… Don’t worry baby, this day is very emotional for me!”

“Mom…” I whisper and take her hand in mine looking at her with adoration.

“They are proud of you!” I say and she shakes her head negatively.

“No… They are not but this is not the time to talk about it! This is your night!” she states, wipes her tears and then wipes mine gently.

“Would you like me to help you with the necklace?” she asks next and I nod excited.

“Alright… Let’s see…”

We stand up again and I help her by taking my hair from the back of my neck. She takes the necklace in her hands, places it on my neck and when she is done she joins my side in front of the mirror and looks at it smiling warmly.

I sigh heavily feeling a weird sensation and for some seconds my heart is beating faster but it soon calms down leaving me with a completely different feeling than before…

What did just happen?

“ Cleo…” my mom speaks up after a while and I snap my head to her dragging my mind away from my thoughts.

“Yes?”

“I want you to know that I agree with your grandparents and I wish you follow their advice no matter what! I am proud of one thing in my life and this is the child I have! I love you and I am never going to leave you alone!” she says while capping my face in her hands and I smile.

She kisses my forehead and I close my eyes enjoying her touch, Clea is purring like a dizzy puppy and my mom can’t stop trembling. I can’t explain how blessed I feel for having her and for a while everything faints.

I wish we could stay like this forever and also I would love to tell her everything about Thor but I don’t want her to know and get sad, I need her happy for me…

“Girls?” my dad’s voice comes from the door and we turn to him the second he walks in dressed in his black, expensive suit with his hair perfectly stylized and his eyes shining from pride.

“Look at our baby Etan… She is a woman now!” my mom says ready to cry again and he nods approaching us with his eyes never leaving mine.

“Tonight… You are taking over and you will make a better Beta than me! You are my entire world and there is no word that can describe how much I love you! I wish you only the best, we are always going to stay on your side!” he says pulling me gently in his arms and I raise my hand to caress his cheek.

This man is my… Rock! My hero and I adore him!

He has been doing anything he could to make me happy and I can feel his wary the last days, especially after the first night. I feel responsible for him feeling this way, it’s awful…

“I love you too dad and I owe the two of you everything I am! I promise I will never disappoint you!”

“I know princess, I know!” he whispers touched and kisses my cheek.

“And now…” my mom speaks up and I turn to her.

“I think it is time…”

~about one hour later~

Third person’s pov

“Diamond Heart Pack, my dear friends from other packs, this is our new Beta, Cleo Taylors!” Thor announced and raised Cleo’s hand on the air with a pride in his eyes that nobody had ever seen.

He, Cleo and their parents were all standing on the small stage in front of the pack house facing the crowd of more than 600 werewolves.

Everything was perfect, the decorations, the tables, the drinks, the music, the atmosphere and the night was ideal and peaceful! The weather was perfect, the sky was clear full of stars and the forest was silent. Everyone was appropriately dressed and no one could take his eyes from two specific persons…

The Alpha and his new Beta!

The two of them were everyone’s main interest for two completely different reasons.

Cleo was the new Beta and as it was logical she was the person of the night but she was loved from her pack that wanted to congratulate her and the other Alphas and Betas that had been invited from Thor were impressed from her behavior. She was social, funny, sweet but at the same time a true professional and extremely appropriate.

Thor from the other side was the Alpha and it was expected to gain the eyes of the world but also it was very clear that he was very proud and excited for his Beta. They were all thinking that it was because she was his best friend but the truth was by far something completely different.

The crowd busted into cheering once he ended his phrase and he, Cleo and their parents smiled with Adelaine crying from the first line next to Gabriel that was cheering louder than everyone and William that was ready cry. He was not so touched but heartbroken for his best friend, he knew the truth and she didn’t deserve to be a simple Beta when that pack was hers and she was destined to be the next Luna. He wanted more than anything to stop everything and say the truth but Cleo had told him to forget about it and act like nothing had ever happened and he had promised to respect her wish.

So… He was just acting…

“And now let the celebrations begin!” Thor ordered after some seconds once the crowd calmed down enough to listen to him and turned to Cleo while the music began.

“Do you want to cover your hand until it gets healed?” he asked her in a low tone leaning on her with wary and she forced a smile shaking her head negatively.

He had cut her right hand with a knife just like her father’s before he asked her if she was accepting to become the pack’s new Beta and once she did he touched her hand with her father’s to pass the title officially to her. The cut was not deep, it hadn’t even hurt her but it was bleeding and he seemed to be worried.

“Are you sure?” he asked her again with a small dose of anger and she pulled her hand away from his discreetly.

“I am!” she just replied through her teeth with nobody listening to them due to the loud music and their too low tone.

“Congratulations dear!” Cassidy said walking to them with Richard.

“Thank you Luna!”

“I wish you the best Cleo! I am already sure that you are going to make a fantastic job!” Richard told her next and hugged her after Cassidy with Cleo’s parent’s doing the exact same thing.

“And now why don’t you two go to have some fun with the others?” Etan asked them teasingly at the same time that William walked to the stage with Adelaine and Gabriel to congratulate with their turn their friend.

“Babe!” William screamed and pulled her in his arms for a tight hug.

“I am here for you, don’t forget it” he whispered next to her ear and she nodded turning to Adelaine.

“Hey, stop crying!” she yelled at her friend that was red like a tomato with her eyes wet from crying.

“I am so damn happy and these hormones are killing me!” she exclaimed as they hugged and Gabriel joined them and kissed Cleo.

“Well done Beta! Put some things in their place now and kick some asses!” he murmured with meaning and Cleo laughed.

She knew he meant Finn, Elliot and some others of Thor’s friends and she couldn’t agree more with him. She had promised them from years ago that she was going to put some lazy members in work and she meant it! She didn’t care if Thor would have different opinion, she was responsible for everyone’s physical and fighting condition and that was enough.

“Don’t worry! I will make them sweat!” she state wickedly and the four of them laughed in union.

“Thor, take Cleo to dance! Lillian is not here, Cleo has no mate and you are friends! We have a party here!” Cassidy said almost like she was ordering her son and Cleo did her best not to turn pale as Thor seemed to gladly agree.

“No mother! Your older son sucks in dancing and he is going to humiliate us but fortunately I am here and I am taking my friend to dance with me!” William stated before Thor and Cleo sighed relieved avoiding Thor that was staring at her with meaning.

She didn’t want him next to her even with so many people around them and William knew it. He wasn’t going to allow his brother touch her but he couldn’t understand his enthusiasm as well and neither could Cleo.

She had a very hard time because of Thor’s behavior and she was troubled from his warm way of treating her after three days of avoiding and ignoring her. After that incident he was keeping himself away and the same thing was happening with her and she was quite relieved and calm but now… He was changing everything again and she was sure that it wasn’t just because of the occasion. He wasn’t such a good actor, she could read most if his expressions and she knew he was mostly honest.

And that was what was frustrating her the most!

She didn’t know what he wanted to accomplish but she couldn’t stop herself from being curious.

“William… What a nice way?!” Cassidy scolded him not really mad and they all laughed except from Thor that was staring at Cleo obviously unable to step back and leave his brother win.

He knew him better than anyone, he might was one year younger than him but he was the devil himself sometimes. He was a strong opponent and he didn’t want to underestimate him because he could ruin everything quite easily. Cleo was his best friend and at the beginning he wasn’t jealous of him but today he was jealous of all the other males because his mate, Cleo was the most beautiful woman of all and he could see how they were all staring at her. He wasn’t going to accept his brother or any other male touch what was his and that was why he had lots of ideas to prevent it from happening.

“You will have to wait a lot until your dance Will because I have to introduce Cleo to some other Alphas and Betas!” he stated casually after they had all stopped laughing.

“Yes, Thor has a point but later you can son!” Richard told William that did his best to keep his calm expression.

“It’s fine Will! We will dance later!” Cleo muttered not wanting him to get madder and Thor smirked pleased.

“These two are so professional!” Gabriel commended teasingly and Etan laughed.

“Yes, we are and now shall we Cleo?” Thor asked her offering his hand and she nodded but avoided to touch him pointing her red from blood palm.

“And let’s clean up your hand first!” he said casually and took her from her wrist not giving her opportunity to avoid it as their families and friends were there with them.

They walked down the stages’ four steps and they headed on the closest table with Thor leading the way and Cleo following him with no emotion while lots of pack members were congratulating her and they stopped at the first table Thor saw. He took a white towel and opened a bottle of water leaving her hand free without talking. Then, he got the towel wet and took again her hand. He began cleaning her palm with gently moves while Cleo was greeting some members avoiding looking at Thor.

“Alright, let’s go!” he said after her palm was clean and already healed and left the dirty towel on the table.

“At least don’t touch me, I can walk on my own!” she told him through her teeth forcing a smile and he smirked trying to hide his anger.

“Look baby… Just do as I say and don’t piss me off in such a great night!” he warned close to her ear and began walking while ‘dragging’ her behind him.

They greeted and talked with two Alphas that had gone to attend the ceremony and were Thor’s friends from the college he had been and the time passed quite fast. Cleo was very kind and warm with everyone and Thor’s friends loved her without knowing about their relationship. After them they went to some other Alphas with their Betas that were older and Richard’s friends and cooperators and for once more Cleo was everyone’s main interest with most of them congratulating not only Cleo but Thor as well for the new, excellent Beta he had. After about an hour of talking with almost all their special guests Thor led Cleo to the last Alpha and his Beta. Their pack was not far away from theirs and Cleo knew one of them surprising displeasingly Thor.

“Cleo!” the young man, the Beta exclaimed and she froze for a while as she had no idea that he had been there.

“Max!” she said excited and hugged him with Thor making great amends to stay calm and smile in front of the old Alpha.

“Rafael, welcome!” he said offering his hand to the other Alpha that took it and smiled.

“Thank you for the invitation Thor and I wish both of you the best!” he replied and turned to Cleo to hug her.

He was a very good and sweet man, a great Alpha that loved his pack and he was known for his kindness and understanding, he wasn’t behaving to the others like an Alpha but like a father.

“I am very happy to finally meet Etan and Adira’s daughter sweetheart! And my Beta has told me a lot about you!” he said and Cleo blushed while Thor took one step closer to her raising his eyebrows impressed yet surprised.

“Really? Do you know each other?” he asked the Beta that smiled and nodded.

“We were together at the college but only for one year, I am one year older than her and her friend’s older brother, Kevin was my best friend! We were spending much time together!” Max replied and Thor shook his head in understanding.

He suddenly became too mad! Kevin’s name woke up the beast inside him and he knew he wasn’t going to control himself for too long! He was also jealous of Max and any other man that had been close to Cleo these two years and that was why he needed some ‘isolation’.

“You know that Kevin is going to visit us soon, don’t you? When I told him last night that I was going to see you he asked me to make sure that you are happy and he said that he is planning to come and see both of us one of the following weeks or even days! He is crazy for you!” Max continued not realizing the weight of his words and Cleo got ready to reply although she was getting nervous but Thor cleared his throat and stopped her.

“Please excuse us but we have to sign the papers as well… You know, follow the right process! But we are going to talk again in a while!” he explained in hurry and took Cleo’s hand again smiling at Rafael and ignoring Max that didn’t seem very surprised.

“Of course my boy!” Rafael replied and Thor began walking away heading to the pack house with Cleo following him frustrated yet nervous.

No one stopped them because William didn’t see what was happening and Cleo didn’t want to tell him worried of a fight between the two brothers. She kept on following him in the pack house and up the stairs in silence with her heart beating heavily inside her chest.

Deep inside her she knew that he was trying to find an excuse to stay alone with her but she wasn’t sure about his intentions. He was confusing her, some time ago he was happy but the more time was passing the more his mood was changing, he was getting angry and now she could smell it clearly as they were alone with no other scents around them.

They reached at the top floor and they headed straight to his office with bigger steps than before. Thor’s hold around her hand got a bit tighter the closer they were getting and once he got sure that there was no one else at the floor he opened his door and pushed her to get in first.

At that moment he began shaking, his wolf was giving him a hard time the last one hour asking for his mate and the fact that so many other males had been staring at her hungrily was driving him crazy! He got in after her and slammed the door with so much power that Cleo jumped up, turned to him and then he took some steps to her while she was taking some back in alert.

Cleo took a deep breath finding her lost for a while confidence and composure and stopped walking backwards allowing him to approach her. She crossed her hands in front of her chest with a hard, cold expression and observed him getting closer to her like a predator that wasn’t terrifying her at all.

“The papers!” she demanded harshly knowing that he would have other plans and he stopped some inches in front of her with his eyes darker and quite scary.

“Are you in hurry?” he growled and she smirked.

“Yes, I am!”

“Why? To go downstairs and do what? Be the males’ main center of interest?” he asked her through his teeth and leaned closer but she didn’t move back.

She wasn’t going to please his ego and show him that he had the above hand! She was strong and confident but most importantly she was unwilling to stand such a behavior from him with her wolf wanting to rip his throat into pieces.

“I am waiting for an answer damn it!” he screamed almost touching his forehead on hers and looking at her in the eyes crazily.

“The papers!” she repeated ignoring his questions and his rage.

“f**k Cleo!” he screamed raising his hands to touch her but she snapped them away and growled.

“Just give me the f*****g papers, you wanted me to sign them, didn’t you?” she asked him quite ‘calmly’.

He didn’t reply, he just tried to touch her again but she grabbed his hands and tried to push him away but she didn’t make it because he was taller and stronger. She could see, smell and feel how furious he was and she was trying to think of a way to make him give her the papers, sign them and storm downstairs but the more seconds were passing the angrier he was becoming and it wasn’t a good sign.

“Why are you doing this?” he asked her suddenly breaking the silence and she narrowed her eyes confused not knowing what he meant.

“You are running away for me…” he stated ‘helping’ her and she opened her eyes shocked.

“What a shameless asshole you are! Are you f*****g kidding me? Leave me the hell alone! Are you drunk again? Do you listen to yourself? You are going to make that slut your Luna and you are asking me why I don’t want you?” she screamed finding the strength she needed to push him away.

She began walking almost running to the door wanting to leave but he grabbed her again and pulled her on him. She tried to protest and push him away but he immobilized her, pinned her on the wall next the door and leaned close to her with his eyes burning.

“You never loved me, did you? You are not even hurt, you…” he began with a wild expression.

“NO! YOU NEVER LOVED ME! I MEANT NOTHING TO YOU SO STOP BOTHERING ME! YOU HAVE THE ONE YOU WANT!” she cut him off struggling to her free but without breaking eye contact with him.

“BULLSHIT! THIS IS WHY I AM LISTENING FOR SO MANY MALES? DID YOU SEE THEM DOWNSTAIRS?” he roared tightening his hold more around her arms.

“THIS IS NOT YOUR BUSSINESS! GO AND MAKE SURE YOUR ‘MATE’ IS NOT CHEATING ON YOU WITH EVERY MALE SHE SEES AND LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE!” she roared back in a wilder tone than before.

“I AM TALKING ABOUT YOU, I DON’T CARE ABOUT HER!”

“TOO BAD BECAUSE I AM NOT YOURS, SHE IS!”

“Cleo. Enough!” he ordered her breathless in a lower tone fighting to stop shaking and hurting her so much.

“No! It is not enough because you took your f*****g decision! What did you think? That I am going to beg you? If you don’t want me then it’s perfectly fine, I am not going to be an obstacle! Mark her, make her your Luna but stay away from me because I am done with you!” she continued calmer because of his softer expression and tried to get free and leave but he didn’t leave her.

He was feeling like he was losing his mind, his wolf was asking for her, his body was getting hot, he was feeling the sparks, the desire, the pull and her appearance wasn’t helping him. He had been having a hard time after that kiss in her room and he couldn’t take of his mind her image but now it was ten times worse because she was the sexiest woman he had seen in that dress.

Cleo was staring at him breathless with an anger she had never felt. She was feeling no sparks unlike Thor, she was hot but from rage, her head was spinning because of her frustration and she wasn’t affected from his touch, scent and presence. It was like she had decided to get him out of her life and everything stopped from her side, like the bond had broken for her.

“You are beautiful tonight…” he whispered instinctually leaving his body’s muscles relax and sighed heavily on her confused yet shocked face.

“You are insane!” Cleo whispered in a hard tone unable to believe him and her eyes turned almost black.

She felt disgusted and cheap for a second. He was playing with her and he wasn’t taking her seriously, she had never given him any right to treat her like that and she was a bit hurt. She knew her value and he wasn’t going to humiliate her to please his ego.

“I want you very much, I am getting crazy away from you! I…” he began but stopped too weak to continue and she growled having enough.

“Liar! That’s why you are not changing your mind? Do you know what? f**k OFF BUT IT WON’T BE WITH ME!” she said through her teeth and pushed him away as he was too lost to react but the second she touched the door’s handle he pulled her back.

He couldn’t leave her, she couldn’t run away from him, he wasn’t accepting her ‘rejection’, she belonged to him because he…

“YOU ARE GOING NOWHERE! YOU ARE MINE!” he roared louder than any other time and crashed her on the wall with her back.

She felt a strong wave of pain for a second but it was soon gone because of her anger. She couldn’t focus on anything else, she was seeing red and he was really insane.

“I am not because I am going to reject you! I had enough!” she screamed trembling and he left out a loud roar grabbing her neck.

He leaned so close to her that his lips almost touched hers and she gasped. The pain was too much, he was holding her tightly and she was dizzy running out of oxygen but he didn’t seem willing to soften, he was ready to shift, his rage was uncontrollable.

“I AM YOUR MATE AND YOU CAN’T REJECT ME! YOU ARE MINE EITHER I WANT YOU OR NOT! DID YOU HEAR ME?” he roared and the door opened with a loud bang in less than a second.

Thor froze as he turned and behind the door appeared four persons…

William, Adelaine, Gabriel and Finn!

Cleo sighed heavily realizing what was happening and pushed him away taking advantage of his condition and he stumbled as William looked at Cleo’s already red neck from his brother’s tight hold.

He was the only one that wasn’t so shocked because he already knew but the three persons that were with him were standing like statues staring at Cleo and Thor.

From the other hand Cleo seemed more panicked that Thor that looked like he was dreaming and her heart began hurting her.

She came back to reality and gained her thoughts after some seconds and the only thing she wanted to do was run away feeling she was drowning. She stormed out of the office like someone was chasing her, William pulled a way too surprised Adelaine off her way but soon she blinked her eyes realizing everything and turned to Thor with a terrifying, dark expression that was against her sweet nature.

“You! That’s why she doesn’t want you anymore!” she murmured but no one replied and Thor lowered his head embarrassed.

“Cleo!” she screamed the next second and run away behind her friend leaving the men alone.

“I…” Thor began after some time finding his strength first but a loud growl from Gabriel made him stop.

“SHUT UP BASTARD!” Gabriel roared and rushed to attack him but Finn pushed him back and William got in the middle not wanting to protect his brother but Gabriel.

Thor was his Alpha, he was stronger and he could easily kill him if he wanted to, if he was losing his patience then Gabriel was done and that was the last thing that William and even Finn wanted.

“How long were you here?” Thor asked them dizzy, not really understanding that he was asking something pointless.

“Enough to know everything!” Finn replied in a rough tone pulling back Gabriel while William walked to his brother with his eyes black.

His wolf had taken control!

“Listen to me for once and for all! If you touch her again I am going to break your bones!” William’s wolf stated raising his hand warningly and Thor stepped back lost with a blank expression.

“Let me go i***t! Don’t touch me, you took part in everything! You were always a bad influence to him! You never wanted the girls and me because I took their side! You are all jerks and you wanted to push the slut to him because she was your friend!” Gabriel roared fighting to get free from Finn that didn’t protested or tried to defend himself.

He didn’t know what to reply to him, Gabriel’s words had a base and he knew it, he couldn’t deny it! He was the older between them and he was against Cleo, Adelaine and even William that was younger and best friends with the girls but he couldn’t touch him because he was the Alpha’s son! As for Gabriel, he wanted him until he made clear that he wanted to be fair and went against him as he was always treating the girls with disrespect but…

“Come on Gabriel! Let’s go to Cleo, she needs us! We are done from these assholes from now on!” William stated with disgust and hatred after his wolf gave him back full control and Gabriel nodded quickly worried about Cleo.

They left the room banging the door behind them and Thor sat on his couch still paralyzed yet speechless. For him it was a disaster because now three more persons knew about him and Cleo, his father could find out and then…

“HOW COULD YOU?” Finn screamed walking to him outraged and this seemed to wake him up as he lifted his head to him.

“Huh?”

“HOW COULD YOU REJECT YOUR MATE, DAMN YOUR EMPTY HEAD!” Finn roared grabbing him from his suit’s collar and lifting him up while shaking him with mania.

“FINN LET GO OFF ME!” he roared having enough and pushed him back making him lose his balance.

“HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO HER? SHE IS YOUR MATE! WHAT ON HELL HAPPENED TO YOU?”

“Are you taking her side? You always hated her!” Thor screamed wanting to excuse himself but Finn wasn’t an i***t!

He knew Thor, he was his best friend and he could always feel and see Thor’s love for Cleo. He was always taking her side no matter Finn’s opinion so… He couldn’t blame him now.

“Does this make you feel well? Do you want to put the blame of your actions on me? Did I ever tell you to reject your mate?” Finn shouted gasping.

“NO!” Thor replied like a wild, hurt lion.

“Then why did you do it?”

“I found out something!”

“And is it so serious that changed your mind and feelings for her?” Finn asked not accepting his cheap excuse.

“YES DAMN IT!”

“BULLSHIT!” Finn yelled ready to turn and leave making Thor’s heart stop beating.

He couldn’t stay alone, he didn’t want to, you wouldn’t stand it!

He run behind Finn and stopped him before he got away and blocked his way trembling with a heartbroken expression. Finn took a step back confused and Thor exhaled heavily defeated.

“Fine! I will tell you everything…”
