Serenity
When I woke up, electrical tingles were running up and down my back and arms, and my head felt as if it would detonate at any moment. It was odd, being taken care of. Never in all my life, which was a very long time, mind you, had anyone taken care of me. It felt strange and unfamiliar. I didn’t want him to feel like he had to, so I offered an out.
