Becoming Luna

Gerald’s POV

She looked at Aiden and gave him such a loving smile. The dress she was wearing I had never seen anything like it, it was tight around her waist and the design that was on the chest. It showed off her breasts as she walked in front of me, my mouth fall open, her entire back was bare except for two straps. Every man in the pack was looking at her. A few of the males' thoughts slipped through, thinking that she was the most beautiful creature they had seen. There were thoughts from the men as well that they wanted to touch her. A low growl escaped my mouth in warning. They all stopped. Aiden and Audrey stopped in the middle of the stage, facing the crowd.

“Blue Blood Pack, before you are my two mates. One you already know as my beta, second in command, Aiden.” The crowd roared to support Aiden. They really loved him and so did I. He was great for the pack. When I couldn’t stay calm, he was always there to be the calm one. He would make a great Alpha. Maybe I should let him just be Alpha, but then I wouldn’t want him to kick me out.

“Now this lovely creature next to him is our future Queen, both of the werewolves and Lycan’s.” The pack fall silent.

“Blue Blood Pack, this is Audrey Harper, our Luna.” As I said this, the entire pack cheered. They were all clapping, chanting her name over and over. This was how I hoped that they would all react. I was so proud of my mates, I let that pour through the mate bond.

“They love you both, just like I do.” I said to them both in the mate bond.

“We know babe.” Audrey said to me.

“Blue Blood Pack, do you accept Audrey as your future Luna?” I asked them.

“Yes, we accept her.” The entire pack said at the same time.

“Audrey Harper, do you accept the role of the Luna for the Blue Blood Pack? too always put the pack before anything. Always doing what is the best for the pack. Never being cruel and punishing anyone unless they deserve it.” I asked her.

Audrey’s POV

The entire pack had been cheering and chanting my name. It moved my heart. I didn’t actually think they would accept me, but they had, or at least they were. After Gerald had finished asking me those things, I looked at everyone in the pack. They all had trust in their eyes.

“I, Audrey Harper, accept all the terms of becoming Luna. I vowel to only do what is right for the pack. I will fight with my life to protect each and everyone of you. I will listen to you all. I will never abuse my power to hurt anyone that has done nothing wrong. But I warn all of you now, if anyone tries to hurt my mates or anyone in this pack, hell hath no fury on that person. There will be no second chances.” I said to them all. There were gasps of shocks at what I had just promised them to do.

“Alden Jones, do you swear to do the same as our Luna has promised?” I heard Gerald’s voice. Aiden was still giving off a pissy vibe. They had been fighting and Aiden was trying to hide it, but he wasn’t doing it very well.

“Aiden, whatever you have the shits about, drop it right now before you piss me off, too.” I warned him through the mate bond.

“I, Aiden Jones, accept to put the pack before myself or mates first. I will do everything in my power to help keep the pack safe. I promise to protect you all unless you wrong us or the pack.” Aiden’s voice rang loud and true through the pack. They had all fallen silent again, hanging on his every word.

“Man, he is sexy. How the hell did that skank end up with both him and Gerald?” I heard a female voice in my head. What the hell was that? How was I hearing someone other than my mate? Then there was another one, and it was the same tone of thoughts. The females in this pack didn’t like the fact that I was mated to both Gerald and Aiden. Well, now this was interesting.

“Athena, are you getting this?” I asked her.

“I am. How the hell are we hearing their thoughts, Ads?”

“I don’t know Athena, but we can’t tell anyone yet. We need to pretend that we don’t hear that crap. I knew there would be jealous girls. But we have to hold ourselves higher than that.” I said to Athena.

“Wait, did you say Lycans?” Someone from the pack called out, so they must have just caught onto that.

“Quiet please, I will explain all of that after the ceremony.” Gerald’s voice came.

“Aiden your hand.” Gerald said to him. He took a knife, slicing both his and Aiden's hand. They were bleeding, but they placed their hands in each other. As the blood mixed I could feel their bond getting stronger, Aiden was becoming stronger, their entire beings were becoming one. I could feel Aiden becoming an Alpha. He already had alpha blood in him, but he didn’t know. He and Gerald both gasped as it happened. Then the pack could feel it. I felt the new connection pass through every member of the pack, then it snapped into place. The entire pack howled at the moon. Then Gerald and Aiden did the same thing. The howl from the both of them would make anyone stop in their tracks. Gerald looked at me. His eyes were wide with pride.

“Love, it's your turn.” Gerald linked me, sending shivers down my spine.

I stepped towards Gerald and Aiden; they looked at me like I was the most important thing in their lives. Gerald pointed to where I should stand; he took the knife, slicing his hand, then Aiden’s and then mine. We placed our hands all together. As our blood mixed, I felt the power of both Aiden and Gerald. Then the pack flowed through me. I felt the souls of the entire pack connect to me. I was a part of them as they were me; They didn’t know this, though. So the bond of being Luna was snapping into place. It felt like my body was going to explode, then the light exploded from my body, sending everyone to their knees. It only lasted a split second, then the bond was finally set.

“Ads, we will never be able to break this bond. They are a part of our very being now.” Athena said in my head and I knew she was right. That’s when all the voices filled my head, the entire pack's most inner thoughts. It was too much this time.

“Ads, you need to put a wall up now. Just think of a wall and let it block all the thoughts.” Athena told me. So that was just what I did. The wall was thick and slowly the voices stopped until I heard only one and that was Athena.

Aiden and Gerald were staring at me in shock.

“Love, did the entire pack just become a part of you?” Gerald asked me first.

“They did Gerald, but let's just not tell them ok. Just act normal.”

“Thank you, Blue Blood Pack, for accepting myself as your Luna and Aiden as your equal Alpha.” I called out to the crowd and with that, they all cheered at the top of their voices. Gerald leant in, placing a soft kiss on my lips. The anger that was radiating through the bond from Aiden was almost unbearable. I would not pay them any attention.

“Now everyone, let's eat, drink and celebrate.” Gerald called out. The crowds moved away from the stage, going to do their own thing now. The music started, then everyone relaxed. Everything had worked amazingly. But there was one man still standing in front of the stage and he looked confused.

“Luna Audrey.” He said, looking at me. I stepped away from my two mates as they were having their stand off. Going to the man that said my name.

“Hello, who might you be?” I asked the man.

“Hello Luna. I am Ralph. I was just wondering about what Alpha Gerald said about Lycan's. I didn’t think they were alive anymore?” He questioned me.

“How about after the ceremony has finished you come and find me and I will tell you everything I know?” I said to the man. His eyes widened in shock.

“You would really do that Luna?”

“Of course Ralph, I will keep nothing from pack that would leave them in the dark.”

“I like you already Luna Audrey.” He said, then he turned and took off into the crowd. Looking over at my mates, they didn’t even know that I had moved away from them. They were fighting with each other. I tried to open the mate link with them, but they had blocked me out. That was fine. I didn’t want to know. Then that feeling of dread came. I felt sick to the stomach, something bad was about to happen.

“Charlotte, Liam, can you feel that?” I asked the Lycans in my mind, not sure if I could actually reach them. Suddenly, I felt three figures around me.

“We do Queen Audrey, but why is no one else picking up on it?” Prince Liam asked me.

“YOU TWO NEED TO STOP FIGHTING NOW AND GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE. SOMETHING BAD IS COMING.” I screamed to Aiden and Gerald through the link, finally breaking the fight they were having. They were by my side in a split second.
