Aiden’s POV

Well, f**k, of course, something had to go wrong now. But Gerald was being a d**k, and I wasn’t going to let him hurt her. The Lycans were already at her side. Gerald and I were both at her side in less than a second as well.

What the hell was going on? Audrey and the Lycans were looking like something was about to happen. A split second later, Gerald and I were at her side. I was going to need to keep an eye on her now. I didn’t trust the Lycan’s. This had something to do with them.

Audrey’s POV

“Would you two f*****g snap out of it now, before I bang both of your heads together?” I warned both my mates, I didn’t want to get involved in what was happening, but something was about to happen and I needed their heads in the game. They said nothing.

“Queen Audrey, I think it will be best if we hide. Whoever is coming doesn’t know we are here. We need to get the pack behind you.” Charlotte said to me.

“Ok, I will get everyone behind us now.” I said to her. My mind was rushing at a million miles an hour.

“Members of the pack, I need you to get behind us now. All that can’t fight needs to be in the middle. Every able person who can fight must form a protective circle around them. Warriors on the outside. Do not panic, but move now.” I ordered them. No one talked, but they all listened and within minutes, everyone was behind us.

“Ads, what the hell is going on?” Gerald asks in my head.

Then they appeared in front of us. My blood boiled as soon as I saw them. How dare they?

“Well Audrey, seems like being a Luna suits you all too well.” Ricker says to me as he and Andreas walk hand in hand towards us. He doesn’t look like our Ricker. He looked like pure evil, but something was off about him. It was like someone had sucked his soul out. He was mocking me and only I knew it. I didn’t say anything. Andreas stopped with him about hundred yards away.

“You were lucky enough to kill my father Audrey, but don’t count yourself so lucky now. You will die tonight, along with your mates and Gerald’s entire pack. I will wipe you all off this earth.” Andreas spoke to me, but I still didn’t say a word. I could feel both Gerald and Aiden on the verge of shifting.

“Gerald, Aiden not yet. Do not fall for his trap.” I commanded them through the mate bond. They didn’t look at me, but I felt them calm down.

“What do you want, Andreas? Why are you here?”

“I am here to claim you as my prize, my darling. See, you are going to bear me a baby and then you will die.”

“But I thought you said I was going to die tonight, Andreas.” I said to him mockingly. I was trying to keep my temper under control after I had just told my mates to do the same, but I was finding it really hard to do so.

“Athena, I think you need to come out now.”

“Not yet Ads, I will tell you when the time is. The Lycans sense that there is some other presence here, but they can’t tell what it is. The scent has been masked.”

“Your old pack members are here, Audrey. Do you really think that you are going to be able to hurt them?” Ricker said to me.

“I warned every single one of you, if you came back here to hurt anyone in my pack or myself, that I would so no mercy on you and I would not think twice about killing any of you.”

“See everyone, I told she was evil. It is not us. All of this is her. She needs to die, and tonight will be the night that it happens.” Ricker announced to everyone. A deafening roar erupted from beside that silenced Ricker on the spot. That was when the screams started.

“Vampires.” Someone screamed out. Athena was beside me in less than a second. The warriors were fighting against them and winning. Andreas had a pure look of evil on his face. Gerald and Aiden didn’t know what to do. We were getting hit from all sides.

“Protect the pack. I will deal with this. Shift now.” I ordered them. Our wolves ran to join the fight. Gerald and Aiden shifted, running into the fight. Andreas walked towards me with his teeth bore. That was when the Lycans stepped forward. Andreas stopped where he was. He paled.

Ricker had shifted along with the entire pack. They launched themselves at us. But we were ready. I shifted into my beast. The Lycans were beside me and we rushed at the wolves. My claws sliced through each wolf as I ran towards Andreas, but he backed away as he saw the lycans approach him.

“You f*****g coward.” I screamed at him. As I leaped for him, Ricker knocked me to the side. He growled at me, biting down on my leg. My beast let out a roar. That was when I heard Gerald and Aiden howl in the distance.

“Stay, I am ok. Protect the pack.” I linked them, but it was too late. They had made their way towards. Me, suddenly my head felt like it was being ripped apart. I could feel each soul from our pack die. I howled. Ricker was going to die for this. Standing up Ricker launched at me again, but I was quicker, I had him between my claws, I pushed as hard as I could breaking all his ribs, he howled in pain, I threw him to the ground as he turned into his human form. Looking around, I saw we were winning the fight. I looked for the lycans. They were stalking Andreas.

He looked me in the eye, saw that Ricker was on the ground. Then he just disappeared with all his pack, well, what was left of them. I shifted back into my human form as well. Charlotte, Liam and the driver were beside me.

“Queen Audrey, are you hurt?” They asked me.

“No, I am fine, I swear. But I need you to take Ricker to the cells before he can get away. Aiden help them.”

“I will do no such thing. My pack is injured. I need to help them.” He said back to me and walked off in the opposite direction. His words hurt me for some reason. The lycans had just fought by my side, but he was still angry.

“What ever Aiden. Gerald, please.” I begged him.

“Babe, first let me look at you and then I will help.” I was touched that he was worried about me, but I was fine. I still let him look at me because I knew he would worry if I didn’t. Then they took off. Looking around at my new pack, people were on the ground hugging their loved ones that had died. I opened a link to them.

“I am sorry for the loss this pack has just suffered. I will do everything in my power to avenge every death that has happened. Now please anyone that is injured badly, please tell me and I will help you.”

“Luna, please help. My mate will die.” I heard come through the link, so I took off healing everyone I could. The pain from the injuries was like a little prick now, but the scars still stayed. What must have been hours, I healed the last pack member that needed it. Now I was completely drained myself. My head spun, and I knew the darkness was about to follow.
