CHAPTER 4- Need To Find Her

(CARL’S POV)
But I knew and I could not believe that my heart was pounding. That was blood. She was a virgin! She was a f*****g virgin! How did I not notice? Well I was very drunk and that must be a reason why. I had never had s*x with a virgin before. And I would never had and I would never have if she had not deceived me.
I still smelled the sheets and then I focused with the intention of tracing her but I couldn’t.
I opened my eyes, startled. What the hell had just happened? How the hell was I not able to trace her. Maybe I was too nervous. I calmed down and took a deep breath. Then I tried again.
Still, nothing. I stopped. This was the first time this was happening to me in my life. I was having trouble finding some. I, the Young Alpha of Sun pack. Was this happening because she is a virgin? I felt unsettled and then I stood up. The more reason why I needed to find this girl whoever she is.
(JANE’S POV)
In what felt like hours but was only thirty minutes, I was at the door of the apartment that I shared with my Cousin, Emilia. I rang the bell and soon enough I was facing a worried and then shocked before a relieved facial expression.
“Jane!” She exclaimed to me as she came forward and grabbed me in to her arms for a deep hug.
“Jane! What the hell!” She said after hugging me as she pulled me away so that she could look in to my eyes sternly.
“Hy Emilia.” I answered her tiredly and then I walked past her and went to sit down on the chair with a sigh.
She locked the door behind me and followed me to the chair where she sat down looking at me with question.
“Are you okay?” She asked worried.
Her eyes seemed to be thoroughly inspecting me and there was no mistake that I looked troubled. There was no hiding it. I was very devastated.
“What’s wrong Jane?” She asked me softly as she moved closer to me and put an arm around my shoulders. “I have been trying to get a hold of you. We all have been.” She said to me with concern “Your wedding. You have a wedding today.”
As she said the last sentence, I grew very worried about that and it felt like I had been hurt freshly all over again. And to think that she said everyone has been trying to get to me. Did she mean my parents included?
I sat up.
“Do you mean my parents tried to reach me as well?” I asked her
“Your parents are not the problem. I had to tell them you went to bed early. It’s a good thing you’re back early this morning so you can talk to them.” She said
I felt very relieved and like a load had been lifted off my chest, I lay back again.
“Jane. What’s wrong? Nathan has been calling all night. He said you both had a fight.” She told me
I absorbed what she had said before I sat up slowly in reaction. I turned to Emilia with my eyes flashing in anger.
“He said what?” I asked her in a low but very angry sounding voice.
Emilia looked at me like she was very confused wondering what she had said to make me so angry.
“He said you both had a fight.” She said and then she raised an eyebrow at me in question.
“What did you two fight about?” She asked me
Automatically, flashes of what happened came in to my head. Maya and Nathan beneath the sheets together. My heart broke all over again and I could not even stop myself from bursting in to tears. Emilia looked alarmed and she sat up more and moved closer to me.
“Jane. Talk to me. Talk to me okay? what’s going on?” She asked.
I was just about to open my mouth and start talking when the loud doorbell interrupted us. Judy turned to look in that direction with a face. Then she sighed before turning back to look at me.
“Okay. So I’ll be back in a second okay?” She told me with worry in her eyes and when I nodded, she tapped me on the shoulder gently before she headed on to answer the door.
I was wiping my eyes when I heard the door open and I heard a voice that brought a large jab to my heart. I knew who it was before the person even appeared. I stood up in a shock but ready to defend myself.
“You.” I said when I saw him walk in
“You f*****g bastard!” I yelled angrily the moment I set my eyes on Nathan coming in to the living room. Emilia looked back at me very surprised. Of course she would be surprised. I usually don’t curse. But now my anger was the one controlling my thoughts. I did not even feel like myself at the moment.
“Jane!” She said, rushing forward to me in alarm. “Chill out.” She said slowly as if to prevent Nathan from hearing.
She was trying to calm me down!
“You have a lot of nerves coming here.” I said to him angrily.
“Jane I know that something really bad has happened between you two but I think that you should please calm down. Try to hear him out.” Emilia said “this is Nathan we are talking about.”
“Emilia, can you please excuse us?” Nathan said calmly to Emilia who was staring wide eyed at me because of my reaction.
“Yes.” She answered him
“No! Don’t go anywhere Emilia.” I said angrily as I came forward with a dry smile on my face as I looked at Nathan.
He was not even looking remorseful. He looked like he had walked in to the room entitled. I hated the mere sight of him.
“Why should she excuse us?” I said and then I turned to Emilia. “Stay Emilia. There is nothing private that we have to talk to each other.”
“No Jane. It’s all right, I will be in the room—“ Emilia was explaining as she was moving away.
“You don’t want me to tell Emilia that you are a big cheat and a liar.” I said
With that Emilia stopped in her tracks and she turned to look at me and then at Nathan as if she had not heard me clearly.
“A cheat?” She repeated and this time she was focused on me.
I was smiling even though it was not coming from my heart. I could not even stop the tears that now streamed down my cheeks. I nodded at her as I cleaned my face with my hands.
“Yes, dear. Nathan has been cheating on me with Maya.” I said loudly and this time I was holding Nathan’s eyes.
