NO SOONER HAD WE PUT the bags on the kitchen table, that Ian pulled me towards him and took my mouth in a kiss that erased everything else from my mind. I clung to him so that I could keep my balance but I still had the impression that I was totally melting in his arms. It felt like I was somewhere in the middle of a hurricane. All my senses had come to life at once and I couldn’t make any distinction between one sensation and another.
Ian stopped for a moment, kissed my lips again, lightly, then he kissed the tip of my nose and squeezed me to his chest.
“You have too many clothes on you,” he whispered into my ear, and his hot breath made me shiver.
