CHAPTER 25
ALYSSA EDWARDS
I bit my lower lips nervously, looking outside the cab I had taken to Daniel's house. If I don't bring him to see uncle and aunty, I know them, they won't let this slide that easily. Frank and I have been lying to them for a long time but neither of us expected any of these things to happen.
The only thing I could do was to stop lying to them once and for all because I was tired. I was tired of playing hide and seek with them and so I wanted to come clean. And so I decided to seek out Daniel Patterson. There is no one who would be able to take this position except him and I was not expecting anything huge from him.
Now I have to go and ask that guy to come and see them.
I had promised myself never to go there again because that faithful morning when I stomped
