HANNAH POV
“Anna, it’s Lace are dressed.” Lace asks after knocking my door.
“Yeah, can you give me a hand, I can’t reach the zip.” I say as Lacey enters my room.
“Alpha Cory is looking for you.” Lacey says.
“I spoke to him earlier, he will have to wait.” I say.
“Anna, you have been so obsessed with Cory, now you’re avoiding him, what happened?” Lacey asked.
“Nothing Lace, well nothing I can’t handle.” I say.
“Hannah-Leigh are you hiding things from me?” Lacey asked.
“You are meant to be my best friend, but you are hiding something.” Lacey says.
“Please don’t make me go into details.” I say.
A knock at my door interrupted our conversation.
“Miss Hannah, your guests are here.” Lydia from reception says.
“Oh, wonderful, I will be right down.” I say.
“Excuse me.” I say to Lacey.
“Hannah, don’t ignore my question.”
“I promise, I will tell you everything later.” I say pretty much running out of my own room.
“Happy birthday.” Lacey shouts.
“Thank you bestie.” I say as I walk down the hallway.
“Hey, Midnight black pack, I know that most of you have been here but some of you haven’t, so I would like to say welcome to The Golden Black Pack.” I say.
“Lydia, please find Alpha Cory and Alpha Noah.” I say.
A few moments later Cory turns up.
“I am going to have to excuse myself as I have my brother’s Alpha ceremony to attend to.” I say.
Cory grabs hold of my waist “You are not going anywhere.” Cory growls lowly into my ear.
I have to admit it was hot but I won’t let him have possession over me.
I spin round and Cory grabs my hand.
“Please join me in making this official Princess.”
“You will soon be mine.” Cory whispered.
“This wonderful woman standing right in front of you, has kindly given us the Lakeside view, which is just over the bridge and Alpha Noah has kindly agreed to this, and we have formed an alliance but I just want you all to take a moment to appreciate my mate and your new Luna.” Cory says.
Cheers come from all around.
“The only downside to this, is we only have twenty miles of land, but it is all ours, there’s a pack house, houses, hospital and a school, so our young pups can be educated on the life of wolves and the importance of hiding our identity, also we don’t always have great weather.” I say giggling.
Cory puts his arm around my waist, showing dominance.
I blush a little bit, he wants me and I want him to.
“My Luna, you look beautiful.” Cory says.
I feel my cheeks heat up.
“Thank you, I can’t wait to see how well you scrub up.” I say.
Cory laughs just a little bit for the first time I can see he means it, he isn’t just laughing because he thinks I’m dopey.
“Noah wants me, I will be back shortly, maybe if you take all your pack members and wait for me by the bridge.” I say.
Cory nods at me.
“Noah?” I call.
“In my room Hannah.” Noah calls.
“Noah, is everything okay?” I ask.
“No, I think you were right, how am I supposed to become Alpha.” Noah says.
“I was wrong, I didn’t mean it and you were right being a smart arse got me into a dangerous position.” I say.
“You will be the best Alpha.” I say.
“Green doesn’t suit you Anna.” Noah says.
I smile and I walk over to him and he hugs me.
I hear low growling coming from behind us, when Cory sees that it is only Noah he stops growling.
“Sorry.” Cory mutters quietly.
We both laugh at him.
“You will be fine and you deserve the position and until I learn to grow up I don’t deserve anything.” I say.
I sort Noah’s tie out for him as he didn’t do it right.
“Thank you Anna.”
“You’re my brother, it’s what sisters should do.” I say.
“I will see you shortly, I am just going to show the Midnight Black Pack there new home.” I say.
“Invite them all.” Noah says.
I smile “Thank you.” I say and so does Cory.
I walk away with Cory and we show our pack members to their new home.
The pack house has 15 bedrooms, there are fifty two houses, a school and a hospital all brand new and ready to use.
I excuse myself from making small talk with the pack members and head back to my handsome mate.
“If you go back on your word about becoming my Luna, I will take my pack and head back to America in the morning.”
“I told you, I would join you, please don’t give me an ultimatum, because things will turn ugly.” I say.
“Your packs lives were destroyed, your home was destroyed, you can’t do that to them, the hurt from the memories, the destruction, if you really are that twisted, then go ahead and do it but I will never ever forgive you.” I say.
“You want me to pick, then I choose us, but this is your final chance.” I say angrily.
“You know that it would kill us if we so far apart.” I say rather loudly.
I hate raising my voice to people, I’m too nice for that but he really pissed me off.
“Don’t speak another word, you may regret it.” I say.
CORY POV
“I love you.” I say.
“You can’t say you love me, you know f**k all about me, you only know what I want you to know.” Hannah says.
Wolverhampton Wanderers is your favorite football club, your favorite player used to be Fabio Silva, when he played for wolves, he wasn’t everyone’s favorite but you liked him, your all time go to player is Robert Lewandowski, your favorite Disney movie is Peter Pan, you love the fact that Peter Pan never grew up because you hate the fact that we had to grow up, your favorite saying is Never Grow Up, and that’s why I love you, because you are still a big kid at heart. I say.
I see tears roll down Hannah’s face.
“I can go on, you love Eminem, you will sit and watch Devin Caherly videos, even though he’s annoying.” I say.
I watch as Hannah rolls her eyes.
“I can do that, I can stand here and name the fact that your favorite band is Metallica, your favorite TV show is Stranger Things, you are terrified of your mother, you are scared of horror movies, you pretty much cried at the Nun.” Hannah says.
I put my hand over her mouth. “Shh.” I say.
“I love you, but this is gonna hurt both of us, we need to work together.” Hannah says.
“I will do anything for you princess, I love you.” I say.
“I’m scared Cory this could go terribly wrong for us.” Hannah says.
“We will work it out and I promise after your birthday I will tell you everything.” I say.
“Okay.” Hannah whispers.
