5. His pack

“I will help but I want no part of yours and Cory’s argument.” Noah barks at me.
“Okay, I have the documents now, it’s time to sort this s**t out.” I say.
I roll my eyes as we wonder around the pack house.
“Cory.” I call as we enter the kitchen.
“Hannah, baby, what’s wrong?” Cory asked concerned.
Noah nods at me and he begins to walk over to Mr Bailey.
“Mr Bailey, shall we grab a cup of tea and discuss things.” Noah says.
“Thank you.” I mouth to Noah as he leaves with Mr Bailey.
“Hannah, what’s happened? You look distraught.” Cory says.
“I’m sorry, please don’t hate me.” I say as his soft look turns to anger.
“Please tell me, you didn’t get involved.” Cory says.
“I did.” I say.
“Hannah!” Cory says loudly.
“I went behind your back, I knew you would never listen to me but I called my grandad and asked him to send airplanes over to your pack.” I say quickly.
“Why? Why the f**k would you do that?” Cory asked angrily.
“I was trying to help, trying to make up for what I said to you, words hurt, trust me I know.” I say.
Why did it feel right, but now it feels like nothing is ever right.
“I did it to help you, help us and help our pack.” I say.
“You are not officially my Luna yet and you’re trying to take over.” Cory says agree running through him.
He brings his fist up and slams it into the wall next to my head.
“What are you doing?” I ask.
I back down a little frightened that next time he will hit me straight in the face.
“You decided to go behind my f*****g back! You are not in charge of my pack! Why would you do this?” Cory roared at me.
“I really am sorry Cory, I didn’t mean to go behind your back I just wanted to help you, because you don’t listen to me.” I say.
“You f****d my plan up for a revenge attack!” Cory says.
“Cory, you don’t even know who attacked you, how is that keeping the pack safe.” I say.
“Shut your f*****g mouth.” Cory says.
I feel my anger raging through me.
Why won’t he f*****g listen to me!
“You’re bringing my pack here, where the f**k are they all going to stay?” Cory asked.
“Did you even think about that?” Cory roared.
I can see his eyes flickering black I know he is arguing with wolf.
I watch on as his fist hits the wall again.
“You know what yes I f*****g did, but considering you don’t want listen to me, f**k you.” I say.
I chuck the documents to the floor and run away from that arrogant arsehole.
I thought I could change him but I guess I was mistaken.
“How f*****g dare he! He could have hurt us.” My wolf cries.
I grab my clothes from my room, run out of the pack house and I shift into my wolf running into the woods towards the lake house.
CORY POV
I am seething with rage and I couldn’t control it.
“You made her cry!” My wolf roars through my head.
“No wonder she cried look at you, you are scum!” My wolf says.
I block him out.
“Hannah wait…” but it was too late she had run away from me and I can’t blame her she was terrified I saw the look in her eyes.
I pick the paperwork up off the floor and look at it.
Lakeside view, formally owned by Miss Lena Berry has been brought by Miss Hannah-Leigh Miller.

Lawyers sign.
Signed Mr J Miller.
Signed Mr P Berry.
All marked with blood by their names.
I Hannah-Leigh Miller officially sign my land over to Mr Cory Bailey all the houses the pack house and the school now all belong to him.

Hannah owns the land.
How did you afford that land Hannah? I ask myself.
“Don’t you think you should go and find out mate and show her that we truly love her.” My wolf says.
“I guess so.” I say.
I search the pack house and head into the woods.
“The lake house.” My wolf whispers
“Why didn’t I check there first.” I say to myself.
“Princess.” I say slowly trying not to startle her.
“What do you want?” Hannah asked.
“I know that this might not mean much now, but I am so sorry, you’re right I should have listened to you.” Cory says.
“I should have looked here first for you, but I searched the pack house just incase.” I say.
“I do have a serious question though.” I say.
“What’s that?” Hannah asked through tears.
“What are you doing on my land?” I ask.
Hannah chuckles and when I sit beside her I notice that her eyes are all red.
“I’m so sorry Hannah, I really don’t know what came over me.” I say.
I hate myself for the way I made her feel, those tears are what I caused.
“I am sorry I lost control around you.” I say.
“I never ever wanted to swing for you that’s why I hit the wall but that’s no excuse, it should never have happened.” I say.
“Maybe I should have listened to you.” I say.
“Yeah maybe.” Hannah says through tears.
I wipe her tears away.
“I deserved what you said to me, we should have done this as a team, but you were right I am not your Luna, I shouldn’t have done anything.” Hannah says.
“No, princess, you were right, I can’t keep a level head but you, you are my saviour and I should treat you right, you make everything better.” I say.
“I am ashamed to admit it but, if it wasn’t for my wolf I have no idea what I would have done.” I say.
“I forgive you, but just know you ever do hit me, I will hurt you and that is a promise.” Hannah says.
I don’t deserve her forgiveness.
The hurt on Hannah’s face made me feel even worse.
I love her and I feel like I was born just to create distraction to every single thing in my life.
“I don’t know how to do this Hannah, I am sorry.”
“Me either.” Hannah says before running off again.
I meant I can’t hurt her anymore, I didn’t know how to apologise to her properly and I don’t know how to make things right.
I can’t find Hannah so I run to find my dad.
HANNAH POV
I mind link Cory, “I am sorry, I know you’re only doing right by us but I can’t hear it now, but I do accept your rejection.” I say.
I put my block up so he can’t reach me and I hear a long sad howl, I knew that it was Cory.
I run into my room and cry again.
“Why am I sad, wolf wants mate, mate is sad, wolf is sad.” My wolf cries through my head.
“Is Cory in trouble?” I asked my wolf.
“Mate hurts too.” My wolf cried.
