4. The attack on his pack part two

HANNAH POV
“There is only one option.” I say.
“Hannah, what are you thinking?” Cory asked.
“I, Hannah-Leigh Miller princess of the Golden Black pack reject you Cory Micheal Bailey Alpha of the Midnight Black pack.”
“WHAT? HANNAH WHAT THE f**k DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING?” Cory roared.
“I thought this is what you wanted.” I say.
“Why would you even think that is close to what I wanted.” Cory says in a calmer tone but his anger still pumping through him.
Admittedly I flinched a little bit his Alpha tone is kind of scary, I fight back my tears unsure of what to do next, I have seen first hand where his anger can get him.
“Hannah, I do not accept your rejection.” Cory says.
“Hannah what the f**k is going on in that little head of yours?” Cory asked.
“I don’t want to be second best to the b***h that got her f*****g claws into you first!” I say.
“I don’t have time to explain that now but listen to me when I say that you will never be second best it has always been you, it always will always be you, when I told you I loved you I meant it every time!” Cory says.
“Why are you leaving me?” I ask.
“My pack, it’s been attacked, my men, my women and even a child has died because Lily couldn’t protect them, she is my beta for f**k sake, she should have been able to protect them.” Cory says.
“I need to go and find my dad.” Cory says.
“Okay.” I whispered.
“I need to ask you something.” Cory says.
“You can ask me anything.” I say.
“Do you really think I would have asked you to come back to America with me if I was going to make Lily mine? Are you nuts? Don’t you think I learnt my lesson last year?” Cory asks.
“I uh no… yes, I don’t know.” I say tears falling down my face again.
Cory sits in the bed next to me and lifts my chin with his finger and places his thumb on my chin he kisses me softly.
He quickly pulls away.
“I have to go now.” Cory says.
“Okay.” I say softly as Cory kisses my forehead.
“Can I help?” I asked.
“No, you have done enough, and the last thing I want to do is hurt you.”
“I love you and we will talk later.” Cory says.
“Okay, I love you too.” I say.
“I do have an idea.” I say.
Cory just ignores me and leaves my bedroom.
“I have an idea asshole.” I shout.
I am so glad that the rooms are soundproof.
I will never learn.
I pick up Cory’s phone and type in Cory’s password, it’s my birthday he has never changed it no matter what phone he has.
I get Lilyanna’s number out of Cory’s phone and save it in mine.
Before I call Lilyanna I call my grandad.
“Hi this is Carrie speaking, how may I help you?”
“Hey Carrie this is Hannah, could you put me through to my grandad please.” I say.
The phone rings for a few moments.
“Hannah banana, how can I help?” My grandad says.
“Grandad how are you?” I ask.
“No time for that, you wouldn’t be ringing in the middle of the night if it wasn’t important.”
“I need planes grandad to the Midnight Black pack, Cory’s here with me in London and his pack was attacked.” I say.
“Give me twenty minutes and I will call you back.” My grandad says before hanging up the phone.
I hesitate over the call button but I call Lilyanna.
“Hi this is Lilyanna.”
“Lilyanna it’s Hannah.” I say nervously.
“Oh, hello princess, can I help you?” Lillyanna asked.
“You can’t but maybe I can help you.” I say.
“I am having airplanes sent over to you, can you get the pack members safely to their homes and get them to grab a few personal belongings.” I say.
“I can do that.” Lilyanna says.
“Okay, I will call you with the details as soon as I can.” I say.
“Thank you princess.” Lilyanna says.
“No please don’t thank me, I might not even be alive when you get here.” I say.
“You haven’t told Cory have you?” Lilyanna asked.
“No, I totally f****d up and I rejected Cory and he didn’t accept and now he isn’t speaking to me.” I say.
“The second I get there I will have your back.” Lilyanna says.
“Thank you, and also I am so sorry for how I acted this morning it was bang out of order.” I say.
“No, I understand and I’m guessing Cory hasn’t told you the full story.” Lilyanna says.
“No, but right now, all of the pack members are my concern, so please start packing now.” I say.
We say goodbye and we hang up the phone.
A few minutes later my grandad calls back.
“Banana, Five airplanes are heading for Alpha Cory’s pack.” My grandad says.
“Thank you, are you coming to Noah’s Alpha ceremony?” I ask.
“You know I wouldn’t miss it for the world, you my Hannah banana and Noah are the most precious gifts from the mood goddess.” My grandad says.
“Grandad you are so sweet.” I say.
We say goodbye and hang up the phone and I quickly call Lilyanna back to inform her what is happening and she promised to back me up when she gets here.
Now comes the hard part I have to tell Cory.
I walk out of my room and down the hallway to Noah’s room.
I knock on Noah’s door and wait for him to answer.
“Noah, help me I f****d up.” I say sadly.
“Anna it’s three thirty in a morning can’t it wait?” Noah asked.
“Actually it’s three thirty four.” I say.
Noah try’s to close the door, but I put my foot there.
“I’m sorry.” I say.
“Anna being a smart arse isn’t good, one day it’s going to get you hurt or even worse you will die.” Noah says.
“Look, I f****d up, I hurt Cory, and his pack has been attacked.” I say.
“I can’t fix your mess but I can help with the pack.” Noah says.
I look at Noah nervously.
“Oh, Hannah what have you done?” Noah asked.
“I called in a favour with grandad and now I have airplanes flying over to Midnight Black pack, and Cory doesn’t know.” I say.
“Hannah-Leigh! You have to tell him!” Noah says sternly.
“He is going to kill me, but I have an idea.” I say.
“I brought the land the other side of the lake house way before all this s**t happened.” I say.
“I will give him that as long as that is okay that we have a pack so close to yours.” I say.
“If that means you don’t have to go to America and I can keep you safe, I will do anything.” Noah says.
“Thank you.” I say.
“You need to tell him and you need to tell him now.” Noah says.
“Duh that’s why I need your help.” I say.
“Anna!” Noah says.
“Let me grab the documents and we will sort this out.” I say.
