Chapter 12

He looked at me again and then smiled.

“Must be your lucky day huh? You know what you amazes me so much whenever youre angry I never thought that someone could be as beautiful and hot as you are when they are mad. I’ll see you around Psyche,” he smiled at me and then handed me my purse and then walked away.

Hindi agad ako naka bawi sa sinabi nya naka tingin pa din ako sa likod nyang habang naglalakad sya palayo sa akin.

It took me awhile bago ko na realize ang pinagsasabi ng hudyo and mind you!

He called me Psyche! How does he knoe my name?!

Oh God! I knew it! It seems too imposible that out of the thousands of islands here in the Philippines we’d bump in here out of nowhere! He must be a stalker!

Oh my God! I should really call Lianna right now and definitely find some information about that guy because he is really creeping me out honestly!

I was about to call Lianna and get my phone on my purse when I saw my name on it.

It was engraved on the side of the purse with gold.

Na pa sapo nalang ako sa noo ko nung na realize ko na baka dun nya nakita yong name ko.

Come on Psyche Estella where else would it be?!

Natatawa na naiinis nalang ako sa sarili ko.

I quickly get inside my car and drove all the way to Greenhills. Badly need to do some shopping  walang kalaman laman yung fridge ko even my cabinets. Saka kailangan ko din ng mga damit most of my clothes were left in Cebu I only picked the newest clothes that I bought.

I don’t have time to choose or even pack some more talagang nag madali kasi ako sa pagalis.

Pagdating ko sa greenhills inuna kong mamili ng mga groceries. I also bought some furnitures that I may need and also went to buy some home decors.

I want a little touche of Psyche Estella in my condo although it was already good I want to feel like it was also a part of me or there is also a part of the condo that is so me.

I also bought some paintings as well online then I decided to dine in the nearest chinses restaurant.

I was busy eating when I suddenly saw a batchmate of mine during high school and yes I remember him I am quite good with faces but not with names though.

“Hey, Psyche fancy seeing you here! Long time no see,” he happily said to me.

Yeah right. Is aid to my mind.

“Hey, uhm yeah nice seeing you here too!” sagot ko naman sa kanya while smiling.

He looked at me with so much happiness in his eyes.

“Ahm do you mind if I join you? Or do you have some company? I am only by myself or you’re with someone?” he asked continuesly.

Natawa naman ako sa kanya iisa lang ang gusto nyang itanong pero napakadaming sinabi hay nako.

“No, I am also eating alone so yeah sure you can join.” I smiled as I said to him.

Although deep inside I really want to tell him I’d rather be alone.

But I think that maybe this is one of the things that I should really change with myself I need to be more open to others and yeah probably make some new friends and live a normal life.

Mabilis syang umupo at tumawag ng waitress para umorder.

“So how’s life? I never though I’d bump with you here.”He said to me while smiling.

Yes of course no one really thought  that I’d be here.

“I am actually planning to stay here in Manila for good.” Naka ngiti kong sab isa kanya.

Gulat na gulat naman sya sa sinabi ko

“Really? That sounds great! I guess I’ll be seeing you more often since manila is such a small place.” Masayang sabi nya sa akin.

Natawa naman ako and then nodded.

“Yeah we might bump into each other again, see nagkita nga tayo ngayon accidentally so baka nga.” Naka ngiti kong sagot sa kanya.

And because I can’t handle this irking feeling I  had to ask him.

“Ahm nga pala what’s your name na nga?” nagaalangan kong tanong sa kanya.

He’s face instantly turned red.

He was trying best not to laugh.

“What? Hahaha! I just don’t remember your name! What am I supposed to do? How am I going to address you properly di ba?” natatawa pero nahihiya kong sabi sa kanya.

Ugh it is such a struggle for me to remember names.

“You let me dine with you without knowing me? You are really something Psyche! Hahaha!” natatawang sabi nya sa akin.

I didn’t know if it was a complement or not but I don’t think so but it isn’t also an insult so it maybe a joke.

“I am so sorry I am not just good with names but I remember your face you are oour batch prom king if I wasn’t mistaken during highschool right?”  nagaalangan na tanong ko sa kanya.

Tawa naman sya ng tawa.

“Oh atleast you remember that correctly but I was also your partner in our science king and queen pageant right?” sabi nya sa akin.

Natawa naman ako kasi yun ang hindi ko na maalala hahaha

“oh yeah haha I remember hehe” sagot ko naman sa kanya.

He laughed again, sobrang ligayang ligaya ata sakin tong taong to.

“You are really something hindi ka pa din nagbabago you are the only person I know who is very transparent yet seemed like an abstract to me.” Sabi nya sa akin while looking intently into my eyes.

“By the way its Red. My name is Red.” Sabi nya sa akin habang naka ngiti.

Red? Hmm Red… Red Ongpauco!

“Oh yes! Red! Redmevon Ongpauco! I remember you na!” masayang masayang sabi ko sa kanya na para bang napaka laking achievement para sa akin na maalala ko sya.

“Hahaha see? You pretty little liar.” Pangungonsensya nya sa akin.

Natawa naman ako sa lahat ng pinagsasabi nya.

I looked at my watch and realized na its past 6 na pala parang kanina umaga palang tapos ngayon past 6 na siguro 4 pm ako kumain dito hindi ko na masyadong napansin yong oras akala ko lunch pa lang.

“Oh my I am running late na pala I still have to do somethings,” nagaalangan na sabi ko sa kanya.

He looked at his watch and realize also the time.

“Na pa sarap tayo sa kwentuhan hahaha anyways can I get your number?” tanong nya sa akin.

Nag-aalangan naman akong ibigay sa kanya because like what I have before I am quite a private person so hindi ko basta bastang ibinibigay sa iba ang number ko.

Nag-isip muna ako ng palusot then I remember what Maureen said last night.

“I am shure na madaming lalaki ang kukuha ng number mo! Hinding hindi makakaligtas yang ganyang ganda sha magalalake dito sha  gandya mong ayn puputaktehin ka ng manliligaw sdyito fhrend. Pag-ayaw mong magvigay ng numbvwer mo. Ikaw ang kumuiha ng number nila and tell him you’ll be the one to contact ojkay?!”  she said that bago sya umalis.

Agad naman na parang mag nag ting sa ulo ko.

“Uhm is it okay if I will just get your number? I will change my sim card soon na din kase.” Sagot ko sa kanya while smiling.

“Oh yeah sure sure.” Sagot naman nya at saka itinipa yung number bya sa cellphone ko.

Nagpaalam na akong maunang umalis dahil na marami pa akong gagawin he insisted on taking me home but I really argued.

And besided I have my own car. Luckily na realize siguro ni Red na I will not let him drive for me kaya hinayaan nya nalang ako at saka inihatid sa parking lot. I must say he’s a gentleman but not really my type hehehe and kung pagbabasehan ko yung mga hints nya kanina he is trying to imply that he wants to see me again.

I don’t really have time right now for relationships. I still want to build myself and love myself first. I want to be able to do more things and I think a relationship might hinder that.

I arrived at Viesta Towers around 7:30 pag-akyat ko sa room ko may note sa gilid ng door.

It says ‘You are home late’.

Its probably Maureen pa note note pa sya hindi nalang ako tinext ng gaga.
