Maureen received a phone call while we’re eating sobrang dami nyang itinanong sa akin about what Damon said. Hindi nya talaga ako gustong tantanan dahil akala nya ay naglilihim na ako sa kanya, why would I do that right?

And! It is not as if I wanted to be friends with this Demon.

Na pa tingin nalang ako kay Damon na busyng busy sa pagkain ng salpicao.

I glared at him, akala ko talaga hindi nya mapapansin na inirapan ko sya dahil nga busy sya sa pagkain and it was like for a split second only! So I really didn’t know okay?

Nakaka loka!

“Why do you hate me so much?” he amusingly asked me.

Na pa isip naman din ako sa sarili ko, why do I hate him? Do I really hate him?

I was dumb founded for a time, hindi ko kasi talaga alam sa sarili ko. Sa ilang pagtatagpo namin, actually kahapon at ngayon pa lang yun aside from the time when I first saw him in Heiran Hotel.

Oh damn, alam ko na na naiinis ng apala ako sa kanya because he shamed me way back when we were ate Heiran. And! Sobrang yabang nya at sama ng ugali I still remember how he tried to played with me in the gym muntik na akong masubsob!

“Because you are worth hating for.” Simpleng sagot ko sa kanya at nagpatuloy na sa pagkain.

I was waiting for him to say something but when I looked at him I saw how his eyes glittered with so much amusement, hindi ko alam kung saan ba sya natutuwa or kung natutuwa ng aba sya talaga na naiirita ako sa kanya.

His blue green eyes were sparkling.

Damon is indeed handsome, hindi ako nagtataka kung bakit ang daming babae sa buhay nya o kung hindi man sya nasisiyahan sa iisang babae lang, maybe he thinks that he is God given to the women so he is making the most out of his glory.

He have this hawklike eyes, they looked cold yet very mysterious to me, he also got perfect set of white teeth and Spanish pointed nose, his color is perfect tan, and also have perfect fit body. In short he tall, a bit dark and very handsome.

Yes I do appreciate his appearance but yun na yon.

“How can you say so? What if I want you to like me?” seryoso pero may nakakalokong ngiti na tanong nya sa akin.

Agad naman na na pa taas ang kilay ko sa sinabi nya. So he wants to play with me?

“Really? You think you can make me?” nanunuya pero mapaglaro ko ding sagot sa kanya.

I am Psyche Estella Trinidad whether I am the Heiress or not my confidence and dignity should always be how a Trinidad should be. We never lost.

“Ofcourse.” Tipid ngunit seryosong sabi nya sa akin.

“You think you can handle me huh?” mapanuya kong sabi nanaman sa kanya.

Damon stood up and then walked closer to me, I thought he was going to do something sobrang lapit nya sa akin, he leaned closer to my face.

I was dumb founded hindi ko alam kung dapat ko bas yang sampalin o ano.

When I was about to raise my hand bigla nyang inabot yung bowl ng fried chicken.

At saka bumalik sa kinauupuan nya.

He smiled at me and then bite from the chicken.

“Ofcourse I can handle you,” sagot nya sa akin habang naka ngiti nanaman.

I don’t know why I like his smile at the same time I hate him so much!

Naiinis na ako sa sarili ko dahil alam kong hindi naman dapat nya ako naaapektuhan pero heto ako at ni hindi sya kayang hindi pansinin.

Honestly what is something with this guy?

Sasagot pa sana ako sa kanya pero biglang dumating si Maureen and she happily sat down the table.

“I have good news for you madame Ela,” she happily said.

There are few people who used to call me Ela, my family and yes Maureen.

“The Buenavidez wants you to be one of the models of Lauren Buenavidez’ swimsuit collection! She wanted to give you an appearance on national magazine! Ghaad! You should call Florence!!!” masayang masayang sabi nito sa akin.

I couldn’t help but be excited also, I am really enjoying modelling first time ko lang din kanina na umattend ng screening it feels different for me dahil hindi ako sana ng nagapply lol as shallow as it may seem never akong pumila just to get something.

But earlier, it really felt different but its good different. I am glad that I was able to do something like that it was a good start for me I guess.

“Are you sure? Hindi ba parang masyadong namang mabilis para kumuha agada ko ng malalaking projects? I am not that ready yet, hindi ko pa ata kaya ang ganoon Maureen,” alanganin kong sab isa kanya because ayoko syang mapahiya.

She seemed to be close with the Buenavidez’ baka hhindi nila magustohan ang performance ko at maapektuhan ang Samahan nil ani Maureen.

Maureen immediately shooked her head.

“Psyche ano ba?1 ikaw pa ba? Meron ka bang hindi kayang gawin?! And God! They are offering you the exit part! It was like the Victoria Secret Fashion show here in the Philippines you should really get this project! They are dying to get you! Napaka bilis talgang kumalat ng balita sa industriyang to! Imagine! Kanina lang yu ng first screening mo and yet a lot of companies are now contacting Florence! The guess Philippines also wants you to become one their models. Ghaaad! Napaka unfair ang bilis mo sis!” masayang masayang sabi nya sa akin.

Kahit ako parang na ooverwhelmed dahil hindi ko naman naisip na madaming makakagusto sa akin bilang modelo nila. I know that I am beautiful, but hindi lang naman ako ang maganda sa mundo or even sa Pilipinas so I don’t let the praises and good comments about my appearance get into my head.

“Are you really considering that kind of project for your friend Maui?” ma pang matang tanong nito kay Mauree.

Na pa taas naman ang kilay ko sa sinabi nya kay Maureen na para bang napaka maling pagkakamali ng pinapayo nito sa akin.

Maureen looked at him angrily.

“And why wont she? This is a great opportunity for you Psyche believe me, and ano lang ba ang kinaibahan nito sa usual na fashion shows? Its all the same the only difference is that Psyche’s gonna wear two piece here which was never her problem right Psyche?” excited na tanong nito sa akin.

Honestly, I don’t really mind wearing two piece I think I have nice body for it what I am actually more concerned about is that it is kind of over whelming for me since it is kind of a big project.

“But did you think that she likes wearing those things while being watched on the run way? ” masungit na sagot naman ni Damon sa kanya.

Maureen and I looked at Damon and he seems really irritated now.

“Oh, I forgot to think about that. What do you think Psyche?” Maureen playfully asked me.

I looked at Damon and realized that he is intently watching me and waiting for what I am going to answer. Maureen on the otherhand is smilling devilishly while wiggling her eyebrows.

“I think it wasn’t a bad idea but I’ll probably need to train very well ayokong mapahiya ka sa kaibigan mo so I’ll just do my best. But I would like to talk with Florence first,” sagot ko naman kay Maureen.

Masayang masayang tinignan ni Maureen si Damon na para bang sinasabi nyang nagtagumpay sya.

Damon irritatedly hissed at her.

“See? I told you! Psyche loves modelling, kaya nga kahit pa taga pagmana yan ng mga Trinidad, after deciding to take a new path and napili nya ay modelling because she is really passionate about it. Wh? Do you think it doesn’t suit her?” Tanong sa kanya ni Maureen.

Na pa tingin naman ako sa kanya, he was looking intently at me,

“Its not like that I just thought it might be uncomfortable for her, by the way its getting late I guess I better go, I hope you get well Miss Trinidad, thanks for the meal. G’night.” Paalam nito sa amin ni Maureen.

Maureen just shrugged her shoulders while looking at her cousin. Ganon din ang ginawa ko pinanuod ko sya habang inaayos nya ang pinagkainan nya at saka nagpaalam sa amin at umalis.
