Chapter 7 Johnny and Taylor grab chairs next to Parker, who relaxes in a wheelchair. The three sit deep in thought about the attempted assassination. Their questions have no answers, and yet they review the incident over and over again. Nothing adds up. In the opposite corner, Becka helps Margaret transfer into a wheelchair and pushes her over to the windows, out of the way of the cleaning staff busy sterilizing the room. She sits next to her sister in the only available chair. Together, they stare out over the rooftops of the hospital complex.
