Chapter 31 Morning sneaks up on Margaret. She tossed and turned most of the night. “The worst part of travel,” she mutters. She’d prefer to lounge but has a meeting with the President in two hours and must go over a list of items—not the least of which is the progress she’s made with denuclearization. A knock sounds at the door, and she gets out of bed. “Yes?” “Ma’am, just checking to make sure you’re up. Would you like your usual?” “That would be perfect. I’ll come down in fifteen minutes.” When Margaret reaches the first floor, her coffee and toasted bagel sit waiting. She smiles and thanks the staff. “You’re the best.
