Chapter 51

Desiree’s POV

Today has been overwhelming. We are getting the things finalized for the announcement ceremony tomorrow. I must go shopping to get a dress for tomorrow. And Aunt Susan wants us to come to the coven on Sunday to perform the spell to find Renatta. My parents have also been asking when they are going to meet the twins, so we decided to have them come to the coven too, so it can be a meet the parents type visit. I know my dad, Uncle Kyle and Uncle Joseph are going to have a choice of words for my mates after some of the things that have happened. I hope the visit goes well and we can find Renatta.

We are finishing up breakfast when there is a scream from the dining room entrance

“There are the finest future ranked members ever”

All heads turn to the entrance and there are three females entering the dining room.

“Antoine, Anthony; what’s up?” the short brown-haired girl yells

“Wesley, David, hey guys” the blond-haired girl yells after

They all run up to the guys and give them hugs

“Alpha Trevor and Luna Belinda. Good morning, how are you?” the long brown-haired girl asks

“We are fine girls. What are you doing here?” Luna Belinda asks with no emotion

“We heard the boys found their mates and we had to come see and give our stamp of approval” the blond-haired girl says with a laugh

I look at Leticia and Sharon with a skeptical look and then we all look at Luna Belinda who gives an exasperated look

“Let me introduce you to everyone” Antoine says

“Everyone this is Sadie (the blond), Terrie (the short brown hair) and Elizabeth (the long brown hair) they are friends we met at leader training along with their older brothers. Girls these are our mates; this is Desiree she is our mate and future luna, that is Sharon who is mated to David and Leticia who is mated to Wesley” Antoine says

“Hello ladies. We are so happy the guys found their mates. Maybe now they will behave like gentleman” Sadie says jokingly

“Yeah, I guess no more rowdy nights for you guys” Elizabeth says laughing

“We still have fun, just not as often as you guys. We have responsibilities” Anthony says laughing

“Now you have the old ball and chain” Terrie said laughing. All the boys laughed harder

“Why don’t you girl stand up so we can look you, we have to know what we are working with before we give our approval” Sadie says laughing

Leticia, Sharon and I turned to glare at these girls. Who do they think they are? As if we need their approval. Why aren’t the guys saying anything? I guess they think these girls are funny, but they are being disrespectful and pissing us off.

“Excuse us everyone, we have an appointment to get to” I say to the table. Leticia, Sharon and I stand up

“Oh, aren’t you short. Is a little girl like you able to handle these big guys?” Elizabeth says jokingly. Again, the boys laugh but I don’t respond

The girls and I left to go to the pack clinic. The preliminary blood test results are back, and the Doctor wants to go over the results.

This appointment was to be attended by Anthony and Antoine, but I guess they were having too much fun with their friends. Dr Green informs me that the baby’s blood type can be compatible with the twins. The baby is A+, the twins’ blood type is O + and Brenda’s is A-, so this does not rule out the twins being the father. If the baby had a blood type that could not be matched with the two blood types then we for sure could say they are not the father. But we can’t do that with the information we have. I thank Dr Green and head back to the packhouse to discuss the information with the twins.

Walking back, we bump into the newly arrived friends of the ranked members

“So, you girls are mated to the boys?” Sadie questions

“Did they not say that when they introduced us” Sharon responds

“Yeah, but we are here to tell you that is not going to happen. We have known them for years. If anybody is going to be with them it will be girls of proper rank like us, not humans. You guys can’t do for them what we can. And we have wanted them for years, so we are coming to claim them” Terrie says

“We are not saying this to upset you, it’s just facts. Terrie and I are Alpha’s daughters and Elizabeth is a Beta’s daughter. We were raised to be with these kinds of men. We know how to deal with pack members and other packs. We can give them strong pups and elevate their position. We can also provide mates for their wolves. If you want what is best for them, you should leave now. Bow out gracefully, because you won’t win” Sadie says with her hands on her hips

“Since we were the ones the moon goddess felt should be their mates, we are not going anywhere. And if you have known them for years, why did you wait for them to get mates to pursue them? And since you know nothing about our status nor abilities, who are you to say we can’t elevate their position, deal with the pack and aligning with other packs. And I promise you our children will be strong. So, if you came to try and take our men. I advise you to think twice, because it’s a fight you won’t win” I say sternly and with fighting attitude

“We’ll see because they have not paid you all much attention since we got here” Elizabeth says smugly

“Ladies, this truly is not a fight you want to get into” Leti says

“Oh, we are not backing down and you have been warned” they say and walk off confidently.

“What is with these bitches and our men. At least this is the first one for you guys. WTF?” I say

We head to the packhouse and straight to the alpha’s office. The girls text Wesley and David to meet us in the alphas office. The twins are there with Alpha Trevor, the door is open, so we walk in

“We need to talk, now” I say

“What happened? Is everything okay?” Anthony asks. At the time Wesley and David enter the office

“We were just warned by your friends that we are not good enough to be your mates. They informed us that they are here to take you from us. That we can’t offer you what they can and that they have wanted you for years. That we can’t win this fight and should bow out gracefully” Leticia says

“They said that to you?” David questions angrily

“Yes” we say in unison

“We will address this, don’t you worry” Wesley says walking up to Leticia and kissing her, David agrees and does the same to Sharon

“Guys, we have known those girls for years. They have no interest in us. They must be joking with you. They would never say stuff like that” Anthony says

“Excuse me? What the f**k, did you just say?” I question

“We just think you all misunderstood” Antoine says

“You have got to be kidding me. I come to you and tell you I was disrespected and challenged by your friends, and you tell me I’m lying?” I say

“We never said you were lying, but that you misunderstood” Antoine reiterates

“I did not say this is how I interpreted what they said. I told you this is what they said. There was no misunderstanding or misinterpretation. That is what they said. So, for you to say I misunderstood is calling me a liar. Do you want to give a different response?” I say getting angry

“No, because we don’t think they would do that” Anthony says sternly

“Are you willing to bet our bond on it?”

“Come on Desiree, it is not that serious” Antoine says

I stare at them as my anger rises

“Desi, your emotions” Sharon says

“No Sharon, not this time” I reply as the red glow starts to emit from my body

“It’s not that serious that some b***h walks up into my future home and tells me she is going to take my men because I am not good enough for them. It is not that serious that said men are okay with their friends disrespecting their mate without recourse. Let me tell you assholes something; I have delt with someone using magic to take you from me, all the little shewolves in this pack thinking they have rights to my men, some b***h who is now claiming to have your child. I have dealt with cheating pains and even a concussion and 3 days in the hospital for you and this bond. I have dealt with and accepted all the s**t you and your whores have thrown at me, and I stay and get through it because I love you. Since I have told you before; I will not be disrespected and being called a liar by you is a slap in the face I will not tolerate. So, yes Antoine it is that f*****g serious! Either you get your bitches under control, or I will break this bond. I am not going to keep putting up with you treating me like an accessory that will always be there. You two must be out of your f*****g minds! Wesley and David were presented with the same information you were. They saw that what those girls said upset their mates and their first response is to fix it, and you tell me I’m lying and to stop making a big deal out of it. f*****g unbelievable” I see everyone in the office cowering from the level of anger I am emitting.

I walk out the office and head to the wood
