Chapter 45

Amber’s POV

I am finally back home. I still can’t believe my parents sent me to stay with my Aunt after the ball. I got the longest lecture from my parents after I f****d up and confessed to Wesley that I loved him and wanted him to choose me as his mate. They kept going on and on about how I disrespected them and myself for being willing to use the potion on Wesley. How I could have been sentenced to death if I had actually done it. How I should wait for my fated mate and there is no bond like the mate bond. BLAH,BLAH, BLAH!!! I know Uncle Trevor would not sentence me to death, I am one of his best friends' daughters, and I am the Gamma’s daughter. I have always been untouchable in this pack. If they only knew of some of the other things I have done around here.

I have always loved Wesley, ever since I was a little girl. He is handsome and sweet, he always treated me nice. Even when my brother kept telling me I couldn’t hang around his friends, he was always nice to me. I know he loves me too, so why didn’t the moon goddess make us mates? We are a perfect couple; I am the Gamma’s daughter, I am beautiful and dress sexy, I’m not a warrior, but I have basic fighting skills. I am not the smartest and just barely finished high school, but I have other skills. I know how to please a man. I have been sexually active since I was 15, and I assure you I get no complaints in that department. I know I would make Wesley happy, and we would have such cute babies; even though I would only give him one kid, I refuse to mess up my body.

I am detained at the gate because there is a rogue attack on the other side of the territory. Once things were handled, I was able to head to the packhouse. I went to my room and no one was home. I’m figuring they are still dealing with the rogue situation. I can’t wait to see Wesley. I know he said he met his mate, but I think once he sees me and knows how I feel, he will give me a chance. I can take him from his mate. I rush to shower and change into a new teddy I bought just for him. I go to his room and knock but no answer, I attempt to open the door, but it was locked. He never locks his door. Luckily, I know where my dad keeps the codes for the rooms in case of an emergency. I get to the safe and get the code for Wesley’s room. He's updated somethings since I was last here and there is another scent present. It must be his mate, but I don’t care. After he sees me, she will be history. I take off my robe and climbed into his bed. This teddy is just straps that cover some areas, but it leaves nothing to the imagination. I look sexy as hell, and he will fall in love once he sees me in it. I was there for about 20 minutes when I heard the door click

“WHAT THE f**k ARE YOU DOING HERE??” a female voice screams.

Leticia’s POV

After we all leave the dungeons, Wesley and I take a quick detour. I need to make sure he is okay after almost beating that rogue to death. I totally understand why he did it. On the one hand, he doesn’t need to protect me, I am strong enough physically and with my powers to take care of myself, but I am so proud of my mate. I am so happy to have a man who would protect me the way he did. I lead him towards the gardens and sit him on the bench. I remove his shirt and produce a small amount of water wetting the shirt. I then wipe the rogue's blood off his face. I don’t want the pack members to see him like that

“Are you okay, Wes?”

“Leti, I could not sit there and have him talk to you like that”

“I know”

“Are you disappointed in me? Upset that I did not keep my composure?”

“No, I am proud of you, and I am grateful to have a man that will do what you did for me. His words didn’t bother me because no one but you will ever touch me, but you defended my honor and no one besides my family has ever done that for me. I wanted to say thank you”

“You don’t have to thank me”

“I know but I want to. Thank you for supporting me with school and transitioning to being part of the pack. Thank you for believing in me and allowing me to be myself; like giving in when I insisted on going to fight the rogues even though you wanted me in the safe room. Thank you for loving me and defending me today. Thank you for being my mate”, I said to him with a tear

“Thank you too. You are always supporting me and I know you are strong and can take care of yourself, but you allow me to be the dominant man I need to be at times. Thank you for your patience and understanding”, he says with a kiss

“Let’s get you cleaned up before we miss the meeting” I says with another kiss

We walked up to our room and I noticed the door was open. I get Wesley’s attention and point to the door that was ajar. He places me behind him and rushes into the room. I immediately follow him in and see Amber half naked on our bed

“WHAT THE f**k ARE YOU DOING HERE?” I scream

“WHY IS YOUR NASTY ASS IN OUR BED?” I continued yelling at her

“This is Wesley’s room. I am here to see him” she says smugly

“This is our room because he is my mate. You knew he found his mate before you left. Now get your NASTY ASS OUT OF MY f*****g BED”, I yell advancing on her

“NO! Wesley is my man, and I will be his mate. You are nothing but a weak ass human who can’t do anything for him” she says, sitting up in the bed showing her half naked ass to my man

“Wesley, I will make you happy. You don’t need her. Choose me, and we will be the perfect Beta couple”, she says to him

“Link the twins and David, because this b***h is mine and you better not stop me” I tell him sternly. He puts his hands up in surrender

“Do what you have to do, babe”

With that, I launch myself at Amber. I grab her by her hair and pull her out of my bed. She falls to the floor and tries to sweep my legs. I kick her in the ribs and then in her back as she gets in the fetal position. I step back, allowing her to get up, and I get in a fighting stance. She thinks I'm a weak human. I’m going to show her how weak this human really is.

“How dare you kick me. I am the Gamma’s daughter. I will have you killed for this”. She yells as she stands up

“I’m the future Beta female. I would like to see you try” I say

I then deliver a jab with my left hand punching her in the face and breaking her nose. Then another punch to her face with my right, giving her a black eye, possibly breaking her orbital socket. She swings to hit me and I push her to the ground. By now I hear the others at the door watching me beat her ass. I can hear others trying to stop us and my cousins stopping them. David tells Wesley to stop me, and he says Amber deserves it. She stands up and barrels into me, knocking me into the wall. I elbow her to the back, and she falls to my feet. I pick her up by her hair and put her in a headlock. I turned her to face the door where all the current and future ranked members are, including her parents.

“I have called warriors to take her to the hospital and then the dungeon. You can let her go, Leticia. She will be punished”, Anthony says

“You can’t put me in the dungeon. Daddy, Uncle Trevor stop him. Tell him” she says, gasping as Leticia tightens her grip

“You have been warned and punished but have not learned. You just came back today and the first thing you do is get into Wesley’s bed naked. You knew he had a mate but didn’t care. Leticia is within her right to kill you” Gamma David says

I release her from the headlock and drop her to the ground. I go to Wesley, and he wraps me in a hug, kissing my forehead

“Get away from him. He is mine” she yells

“Wesley, stop touching her. You are my mate, you are supposed to choose me” she cries to him

“Leticia is my mate Amber, not you” he says firmly

She jumps up and lunges towards me with her claws extended. I flick my wrist and encase her in a ball of water. After a few seconds, I drop the ball, and it explodes. She is on the floor gasping for air. I didn’t want to kill her even though she tried to kill me, attacking with her claws extended.

“You tried to kill my mate? Wesley growled

“How dare you? I will kill you?” he growls and, you hear his voice mixed with his wolf Axel’s

David runs into the room and takes Amber out before Wesley and Axel kill her. She is then handed to a couple of warriors.

“Take her to the hospital and chain her to the bed. I want guards outside her room at all times. No one but the ranked members are allowed to visit her. Once the Doctor has cleared her of her injuries, she is to be taken to the dungeon and not placed with the rogues” Antoine tells the warrior

She is taken away, kicking and screaming

“Leticia, we are sorry for Amber’s actions. We thought getting her away would help, but I guess it didn’t. We will accept whatever punishment you and Wesley decide”, Maria and David say

“Let’s give everyone a minute to regroup, and we will meet in the office in 30 minutes to talk” Alpha Trevor says, and they all leave the room

“I am proud of you” Wesley says, kissing my temple

“Why, I just fought the sister of your best friend. I didn’t want to Wesley, but she knew you had your mate, and she didn’t care. She was not going to stop, she truly believes you are her mate” I say

“I know, and I am sorry you had to do that. I am proud of you because I know you could have killed her, but you didn’t. But we will have to decide what to do with her, but right now, let's go shower and get a quickie in before we meet everyone else. Seeing you kick her ass has my d**k hard”
