Desiree's POV

“Hello MATE. My name is Teddy. What’s your name?”

“Desiree”

“Do you think we can go somewhere and talk?”

“Let me show you and your men your accommodations, and then we can talk” I respond

“Sounds good little mate, lead the way.”

I look at Luna Belinda, and she is grinning and shaking her head. I show them to their rooms, and then we took a stroll along the forest edge. We walk and talk for about an hour.

"So what is a human doing in a werewolf pack?” he asks.

“My grandfather is friends with the Alpha, and we were invited for a visit”

“Do you like pack life?”

“I do. I come from a big family in Georgia, the pack reminds me of being home.”

“The twins are her mates. And she is my cousin. She told me about everything you did”

“No, they are not. She dated them, and they broke up like two years ago when they started looking for their fated mate. She is not their mate. Nor did I ever hit her. She lied to you.”

“I Desiree Maxwell accept your rejection Alpha Teddy Turner of the Eclipsed Moon pack”, I say with contempt.

My clothes are on and as I walk to the door, I take off my bracelet and release a fraction of my aura. He is cowering on the bed, submitting to me, eyes wide in shock. I then conjure water and soak him and the bed. I put my bracelet back on and reach for the door handle.
