Chapter 17 Taking the princess

The next day Anna was heading back home and as she saw her home come into view she was happy but also sad for leaving Drake but she knew she would see him soon because planning a wedding in a week was not all that easy but lucky for her her mother the Queen was very talented when it came to planning big events it was in her nature and being the Queen of Greeneden was apart of it all and soon when mother and father step down finally my brother Eric and his wife will get to do it all and at least mother and Margaret get along so good it won't be a problem and I am happy at that .

Father and mother were waiting on my arrival so was Margarete and I was so happy to tell them about me and the Dragon King and that of what we boteh had come to know of each other. "My child welcome home we missed you " mother say hugging me as if I was away for long , but I hug her back then father and then my sister in law. "It is good to see you all again I must say I have missed you all and I have news but let's go inside first. As we go inside the servants take my bags and I was shoved to the launching area . "Do tell what was it like , did he hurt you , what happened Anna, do tell us?" mother say making me laugh and this made all of them look at me disbelieving I looked happy because as I went I was a bit unhappy . "First of all the Dragon Kingdom is so beautiful ,you would love it and second mother he did not hurt me ,we actually got along very well and he is the kindest man I have ever met , he is gentle and sweet and whell he … , he and I we showed each other our true selves, he knows about me and I know about him and we accepted each other full and I must say thank you father " I say feeling out of breathe and then I told them about him and Ice and my parents was so surprised and Margret just seemed so happy for me hugging me saying she will stand by me always in my every desertion and then my parents told me they were happy for us and I do believe they were sincere knowing that I was happy with Drake.

"You must feel so existed but we will leave you to go and rest Eric was busy today buy will attend dinner so I suggest you unpack and rest and I will call on you before dinner", mother say as I walk to my room. Going into my room I smell my favorite smell in this world besides Drake, I smell the cherry blossoms and just then it dawned on me that I will not see the trees when I marry Drake and live in a new castle but when him and I talked he promised to plant me my own cherry blossom trees and that alone made my heart flutter for him.

Just as we all sat down for dinner Erick came in last and just like I know my brother he hugged me and then kissed Margaret sitting down saying how happy he is for me and to know that Greeneden will always be my home aside from my new one and that was all I needed to know , we ate and talked and I told them about Ice and that he is magnificent and quite the charmer, this made father laugh and Eric to. Me and Margaret were having small talk when our dinner was interrupted by the royal guard telling father and announcing that we had a guest, it did not sit well with it neither did father nor Erick but we had to comply ." Yes let him in " my father said standing up waiting to see who dares to come this time of night uninvited. "O please my King do not get up it is only I the Duke and my my I see I was not even invited to dinner ,that's not nice  " he says mocking my father but Erick stood up walking to the Duke challenging him to say one more word to disrespect our family . "How dare you speak to the King in such manor Duke have you no respect?" Erick says looking mad . "O my prince I do apologies but don't talk to me about manors, it seems your father has forgotten first, but I am only here to welcome back our beloved Princess Anna" he say walking to my side but luckily Erick blocks him ."The quill between you and my father can be discussed later Duke as you can see me and my family are having a private family dinner seeing my sister came back today from her visit to her soon to be husband so please say you peace and leave" Erick say but he still won't budge ."No son it it fine , speak Duke why are you really here ?"My father ask and the Duke just smile then look straight at me making my shiver and it seems he is different but I don't know why. "Thank you my King yes I did come to see Anna and welcome he back but also to ask one last time to rethink your decision and seeing you are all present I must warn you again I will not take no for an answer again and well I am a good guy so I will give you a second chance seeing I am very fond of your darling daughter. " "Decision about what Duke ?, I am engaged and you are not even in the running so just leave and do not blackmail my father anymore or you will be the one to feel sorry!" I say having enough of this i***t of a man and as I sit back down I see he is getting angry. "You don't know the halve little princess, you will be mine, I just leave you with this , do not think ill for I will not go gently on you because you see my witches don't take light to liars", as he says its a whirl wind appears making the room twirl, mother screams and so does Margret and then out of nowhere three woman in purple stands infront of us laughing hats when the royal guard run in and I stand tall facing the danger. "What do you want Duke?' I ask him and as I do the one witch smirks' at me and then he speaks again," O my darling I want you , you see Anna I know about your little dragon". "No don't please he did nothing wrong leave him and my family out of this"!. "Yes I might If you decide to come with me but if not then they will die a horrible death " he says and I knew what needed to be done. "Ok Duke but if you seek my hand you must promise to not harm them ". "Deal now come lovely we have much to do, come come" he says and as tears stream down my eyes I surrender to him and his witches and as he takes my arm I see a purple dust and in seconds I am out cold...
