Joshua’s POV:
I walked into the dungeon not sure what to expect. As I walked towards the last cells I heard Jude and Kai talking.
“I had no choice, Jude, I had to bring her here.”
I could hear the frustration in Jude’s voice as he answered “And what will her mistress think as soon as she notices that she’s gone?”
As I walked in, I saw a girl of about 17 sitting in the corner. She was filthy and very thin and I was sure her hair had never been washed, the greasy strings came all the way down her back. I could at least spot that her eyes were blue, that was the only color on her, everything else was a shade of dirty brown.
“What is going on here?”
They both bowed their heads and then looked at each other before Jude answered me.
