Jude POV:
Kai had taken the girl to his mother's house. Kai’s mom seemed glad of the company as she was a bit of a loner, mostly sticking to herself, never really mixing with the rest of the pack. Kai informed me that his mother had named her Star, as her eyes were as bright, or something stupid like that. I didn’t really give a s**t, I just wanted her to make the antidote for the poison. I delivered all the ingredients she needed. The girl did look a lot better, at least she was clean now. She grabbed the bag from my hands and started checking the contents.
I stared at her while she checked, she unsettled me and I wasn’t sure if we could trust her, but we needed the antidote.
She laughed when she finished checking. “Good everything is here; the antidote will be done by tomorrow.”
