Chapter 11 : Furious Puppy

Felicity was playing with that little pup who was jumping on her lap happily. She laughed at him and patted his head. He began rubbing his head over Felicity's belly which makes her laugh uncomfortably. She was having a great time with that pup away from her- Rosalyn's annoying friends and their rich cultures which were boring to Felicity. However, her sweet time distracted by a certain someone who snatched that pet away from Felicity's lap. She was shocked and looked up. 

There was a boy in leather who was glaring at Felicity and holding that puppy who was on Felicity's lap a moment ago. She stood up from her seat and stared at that boy with a questioning look on her face. He was Rosalyn's classmate, but now he is her senior. 

Felicity got to know from Rosalyn's memory, that boy was Jason Black, a good basketball player in their school. His parents were famous architects in Y city. He has an elder brother who is studying medicine for two years. He is from a very educated and wealthy family. 

Jason glared at Rosalyn and asked, "How dare you hold my pet? Don't ever try to touch him again. I mean it, Rosalyn Evans. Stay far away from him." Felicity did not listen to him. She looked at the pup and found he was struggling in Jason's hold and barking continuously. 

She doubted while thinking whether that pup was his or he was just trying to bully her. She asked, "Who are you to him? Leave that pup now. He does not like you and that is why he is struggling in your hold."

That pup was barking and scratching on Jason's shirt. Ignoring that pup, he snarled at Rosalyn, "You uttering nonsense. Why would I leave my pet to you? He does not know how cruel you could be, Evans!" Felicity could tell Jason was lying. He was getting paled as that pup scratching on him. If he continues in that way, he would hurt Jason soon. Felicity thought. But he was too stubborn to listen to her.

She asked again, "Are you sure about that? In the way he is reacting, anyone can say he doesn't like you. So, you better leave him now. He will hurt you." Then Jason screamed out as that pup bit him on his hand. "Ahh!" "You- " In anger, he threw that pup from his hand and yelped in pain while looking at the bite mark.

Felicity got scared when her eyes fell on that pup. Before that pup fell on the ground, she caught him and pulled him near her chest. She became furious. Raising her head, she glared at Jason and asked angrily, "How could you throw this pup like this? He might get hurt somewhere. Why are you people so cruel?" 

Before Jason could say anything, a voice interrupted by asking, "What is happening here?"

Felicity shifted her gaze toward the direction from where she heard a voice spoke. She found there were two schoolboys there. Seeing those two, that pup jumped out from Felicity's hold and ran toward those two boys. The younger one took that pup in his arms and cooing that cute brown far. 

But the elder one was staring at Rosalyn with a blank look on his face. By the look of his, she could tell he defiantly hates Rosalyn for some unknown reason. She did not why she was getting some emotions at the first sight of his. She shook her head and turned her gaze toward Jason who was frowning while rubbing the spot where that cute little brown far just bite him in anger. 

The elder one was in black leather and the younger one was in a simple shirt and jeans. Both have the same brown eyes, black hair, and the same facial expression. They are brothers. The elder one was in the final year and the younger one is in class ten. The elder one is Enrique Anderson. And the younger one is Emmett Anderson. Enrique was muscular and a foot taller than Rosalyn. 

His eyes cold and his expression was stoic. Felicity's heart skipped a beat and she felt a strange sensation in her stomach. She frowned and asked herself what that was. Then she reminded herself it was Rosalyn's heart that missed a beat. But from her memory, Felicity could not found any past involvement between Rosalyn and Enrique. 

Her thought broke, when she heard Jason said, "Dude, your stupid dog was about to get kidnapped. I was trying to save him from this- " Stopping, he looked at Rosalyn which a hard glare and then looking at Enrique, he gritted out, " -vile woman. But look what he did. He bit me with his sharp tooth, instead." 

Felicity was shocked as hell. Why is he lying about me? She scoffed at him, saying, "k********g? What are you saying? Why would I do that?" Looking at Rosalyn, Jason said, "I saw you were feeding cookies to him. He is little so he failed to remember you. Did you mix something in those cookies to kill him?"

Felicity was speechless. She asked with an incredulous expression on her face, "What?" 

Somehow that pup got to understand Jason was bullying his new friend, Felicity. He became furious and wanted to attack Jason for bullying his friend who played with him and fed him testy cookies. He gritted his teeth angrily toward Jason with his narrowed eyes. Looking at Felicity, he vowed, I will protect you, friend. I will not let him throwing the wrong accusation and insulting words at you.

Then he began struggling in the younger teenage boy, Emmett Anderson's hold. Younger Anderson could not hold back that furious pup in his hold anymore. Barking, that pup jumped out from the younger brother and ran toward with full speed to Jason while barking loudly. Jason got scared. He began running around to get away from that furious pup.
