Chapter 1 : A Forced Marriage

In Monroe's Villa, Felicity was dusting and cleaning the whole villa by herself as her stepmother instructed. She cleaned piles of clothes and shoes which were given by her stepmother and half-sister. Then she made food for them and to take shower as a special guest was coming into their home.
She went to her room to take a shower. Felicity was crying under the shower, remembering her old days. She once used to live as a princess in the Monroe villa. Her parents loved her very much. They used to give her new toys, clothes and instructed their maids to make her favorite foods every day.
Felicity was happy with her parents. One day she watched her mother looked pale. When she asked her mother why she looked that pale, her mother smiled and said that she was fine and nothing happened to her. But later the night, Felicity heard her mother was coughing badly and ran toward her washroom immediately. Felicity was only nine years old at that moment. She was worried about her mother.
Her father was still in his company. She couldn't decide if she should call her father or not. When she heard her mother stopped coughing, she sighed in relief. She was waiting for hours, but her mother did not come back from her washroom. She sensed something was wrong. Why is she taking so much time in there?
Felicity went to check on her mother and she screamed out in fear. She kneeled and began to shake her mother, but she never woke up. She looked at the floor and found there was blood everywhere. She ran out of the washroom and called their guard. He came and looked at Mrs. Monroe in terror. He took her in his arms and ran out of their villa. Felicity took her mother's cell phone and began to follow that guard.
On the way to the hospital, she called her father and tell him everything while crying. They entered that hospital and admitted Mrs. Monroe immediately. The doctors began with their treatment. Her father came and asked what happened to the doctors. They looked at them helplessly and said his wide was in the final stage of lung cancer. They all broke down hearing she only left three months to live.
Soon, Mrs. Monroe left her husband and daughter alone in this world. Mr. Monroe became devastated. He began to lose himself in excessive work and alcohol. He refused to see his daughter's face as she reminded him of his wife. Felicity tried to reach her father, but he never spared a glance toward her.
On her next birthday, she waited for her father to wish her and hug her like every year he does. To her surprise, she found her father was coming out with some other woman from his room and left their villa without looking at his daughter for once. Little Felicity became heartbroken. She was not sad that her father didn't wish her on her birthday, rather, he was giving her mother's place to other women.
A year later, Felicity's father came home and called his daughter. It has been two years since her father called her. So, she left her study room in hurry to meet her father. As she reached downstairs, her eyes fell on two other people in their leaving room. She gave her father a questioning look, where her father looked indifferent and cold. He held a woman's hand and said she was going to be her new mother. There was a girl her age. Her father held that girl's hand and said she is her new sister. He told Felicity to share her room and clothes with that girl from that day and left with that woman for his room.
Felicity accepted them, but she never gave her mother's place to that woman. She feared both mother daughter's duo a lot. Whenever her father left for work, they used to beat Felicity. When she went to tell everything to her father, he never believed in her. As she showed her wound to her father, her stepmother used to fell on Mr. Monroe's feet and told Felicity hated her and that was why she was lying.
She also told Felicity about being a rebel in school and fought in the streets. She scolded felicity to stop being a rebel, but she took a belt and began to beat herself to death. Her father believed in that malicious woman and scolded Felicity. Felicity was shocked to see how her father changed within a few years. The person who used to be protective over her daughter, now, hated to see his daughter's existence.
A few months later, Felicity got a phone call from the police and they said her father met a car accident and died. From that day, everything changed. Her stepmother became the lady of Monroe's household. She shooed every worker away from that villa and made Felicity their servant. She withdrew Falicity's name from school and she became the slavegirl. They used to torture her endlessly.
Her stepmother used to give her food every alternate day, but only for one time. Felicity never protested as she accepted her fate. A few years later, she turned sixteen. Her stepmother came and told her after cleaning the whole villa, she would take a shower and wore the dress she has left last day in her closet.
Felicity came out of the shower and began to dry her hair with a towel. When she was done, she opened her small closet and found a neat white knee-length dress. She was surprised to see that dress as her stepmother never gave new dresses for her to wear. She thought maybe her stepmother's heart has melted to see Felicity in that way. She even allowed Felicity to eat food three times a day.
They stopped beating her for over a month. Felicity was happy. So, without thinking twice she wore that white dress which was beyond tight and revealing. She thought her stepmother mistakenly bought that dress for her.
As she went downstairs, her eyes fell on a man near forty's, sitting and talking with her stepmother and half-sister. She internally cringed to see how her stepmother was touching that man's private place shamelessly. She looked away as she couldn't see that scene in front of her. As her stepmother's eyes fell on Felicity, she grinned maliciously. She gestured her daughter to bring Felicity near to that man.
That man's eyes were fixed on Felicity. He was roaming his eyes shamelessly over her. Her snow-white skin, black hair was enticing to him. His eyes fell on her legs and he licked his lips. Then his eyes fell on her chest, he growled internally. He couldn't wait to take Felicity home and have his way with her.
He will do everything with her as he bought her from her stepmother at a good price.
As Felicity came to know her stepmother's intention, she pleaded not to do that with her. But her stepmother grabbed a fistful of Felicity's hair and said harshly, "I fed you and did not beat you only to sell you to that man, you ungrateful girl. But I wanted to give you the respect you deserve. So, I had to please him only to manage him to marry you. Now, you better not waste our time and sign on that paper."
She shoved Felicity on the tea table where there was a legal paper on it. She still pleaded to let her go, but no one listened to her. She was helpless and vulnerable. So, she decided to sign that paper. That man grinned deviously. Taking Felicity in his arms, he left with his little wife for his mansion.
