Chapter 13 : A Misunderstanding

1100 Words
Felicity was staring at Enrique with a blank expression on her face. But from inside, she was thinking about what Enrique would talk to her. She looked at Buster for once who was staring at her with sadness. He did not want to leave her, but he has no other option left except listen to his masters.  Felicity smiled at Buster for the last time and gave him to Emmett. Looking at her for a while, Emmett turned around and left their school premises with Buster, the brown far in his arms. Felicity's stayed there until they disappeared from her eyesight. Buster tilted his head to look at Felicity and then looked away. She turned around and toward the bench where she sat and put her bag in front of that pool. She packed her bag and left that place without sparing a glance at anyone there. She sighed in relief when Enrique did not stop her or show eagerness to talk with her. What did you do with him, Rosalyn? She asked herself. She could not get anything from Rosalyn's memory which made her sighed in frustration.  As Rosalyn left, Jason became furious. He looked at Enrique only to find his gaze fixed on the building where she disappeared. Jason thought his friend would not let her go. Seeing Enrique unfazed and calm, he became disappointed. He wanted to ask him why he let her go. But he stopped himself not wanting to make his friend angry with him. Even though he knew it was his fault, he still refused to accept that. The silence broke when they heard a girl's voice said in a worried laced tone, "What is happening here? Oh my God, Jason. Who did this to you?" Squatting down, that girl began examining Jason's condition. There some students also crowed that area. Jason became embarrassed. He looked away to hide his red face. Jason has a crush on that girl. His cheeks heated up and also felt warmness spreading in his heart to see the worry in that girl's eyes. He said in a firm tone, "It is nothing, Jenny. I am completely fine." He did not want to show his pain to his crush. Enrique was watching them by pressing his lips in a thin line.  Looking at him, Jenny said worriedly, "Are you sure? I think it will be better if you go with me to the emergency room." She wanted to take Jason to the medical room immediately. She looked at the boys there and said, "Guys, please help me to take him for the treatment." Nodding, they came forward to help their classmate. They about to held Jason's arms but he moved his hand away from them. Jason said helplessly, "No, Jenny. I don't need to go- " But he was cut off by Enrique. He said, "Do as she says, Jason. You are not fine." Jason could not say anything anymore. Enrique walked forward and pulled him from the ground and began to take his friend toward the medical room after saying everyone to leave. Jason wanted Jenny to come with him. But looking at his friend's pissed expression, he thought otherwise. Jenny told him, "I will call you after school to know your whereabouts. Get well soon, Jason." Jason smiled. He was delighted when he heard his Jenny would call him by herself. He thanked Buster for setting things up for him. Even though they were each other enemies, that brown far still helped him.  I will get back to you to attack me, Buster. That was not in our deal. Why did you defend that Rosalyn? Are those cookies testier than fried chicken? Jason asked himself. He muttered under his breath while getting an injection from the medic in their emergency room, "I have to talk with that brat soon." He exhaled. Meanwhile, Felicity freshened up in the washroom after her last class in her school and left from there to go to the parking lot where her driver was waiting for her to take her home. She was about to pass the boys' locker room, someone grabbed her right arm and forcefully dragged her inside that locker room which was empty as the whole school left for home after their last class or their games.  Felicity got scared. She was about to scream out in fear, someone kept a palm over her mouth and stopped her from screaming for help. Felicity was struggling to get away from that person's hold. But she could not as she was weaker than that person. But she has to try for once. She is Rosalyn, not a weak girl anymore who did not know how to stand on her ground. She stopped struggling.  Taking a deep breath, she lifted her right leg and kicked that person where the sun doesn't shine. Groaning, he left her immediately and kneeled. Felicity was surprised by her action. She did not know where she got the power, but she did not stop herself from hitting that person who dared to touch her and drag her inside that dark locker room. Lifting her leg, she kicked that person under the jaw and he yelled in pain. She could not see that person's face clearly.  Whatever. From where did he get the guts in bringing me here? You are so dead.  But she could tell it was some senior boy or Rosalyn's one of the classmates of the previous year. Grabbing a fistful of his hair, Felicity asked, "Why did you bring me here? Who are you? If you don't tell me why you drag me here, I will go to complain to the principal by saying you were trying to hurt me and force on me. I, Rosalyn Evans, will ruin your career if you don't tell me why or who told you to bring me here."  Soon the light of that locker room lit up and she got to see the bloodied face of the boy who brought her into that locker room. He was looking at Rosalyn with a paled face. Soon Felicity heard some boys said, "Look at her, sir. It did not take a day for her to start bullying us. Can't you see what she did with our friend? Are you still going to let her go without punishment, director?" Frowning, Felicity looked up and found some of her classmates were there with their director and class teachers with them who were giving a disappointed look at Rosalyn. Director said in a hard tone, "Ms. Evans, in my cabin, right now."
