“Is everything alright?” Ethen questioned, seeing her getting up from the floor.
“Yeah,” she nodded her head hastily, looking away and cleaning her teary eyes with her index fingers.
Ethen had seen her eyes filled with tears, but he was not that much interested in helping her. As he turned around to leave, he was not able to take it. So he turned back and questioned, “Are you in need of help?”
Stepping backward, Alicia hastily refused, “no, no I am good.”
“Are you sure?” he questioned for reassurance.
Nodding her head she mumbled, “yeah, yeah…”
When Ethen got out of her sight, Alicia banging the door, calling out, “Ace…. Please… please...”
She sat on the door with her face attached to the closed door. Tears streamed down her eyes. She continuously begged to open the door which was just in vain.
As the night started to fall, a cold breeze blew, making Alicia tremble with cold. Rubbing her bare arms, she stood on her feet. She looked around and didn’t find anywhere to go except the balcony at the end of the hallway.
With her trembling leg, she walked towards the balcony and stood on the edge. The sea was sparkling with the moonlight falling on it. The view was breathtaking and most probably was easing her heart. She glanced at the lighthouse far in the distance and followed the light emerging from the lighthouse.
Tears were streaming down her eyes and her body was shaking like a leaf due to the cold. She was missing her only family, Ivan.
“Cia..” his cute voice was echoing in her ear. “I missed you Cia…” the line which he usually said whenever she used to visit her came fresh on her mind. “I miss you too Ivan…” she whispered underneath or breathed and took a deep breath.
She glanced around and saw a couch at the side of the balcony. She took a step towards it and plonked on it. She kept the cushion on the side and laid her head on it. She still kept on rubbing her arms trying to keep herself warm and couldn’t trace when she fell deep in sleep.

Ethen was twisting and turning on the bed. He was not able to get any sleep. The thought about Kate was making him desperate. He was having mixed feelings about whether Kate will show up or not.
Getting up he grabbed his cell phone. He turned it on hoping if Kate had sent anything but there was nothing. He ran his fingers between his hair and dialed Kate’s number nervously. But before it rang he hastily hung it up.
“What? What am I doing? She must be asleep,” he mumbled, throwing the phone aside.
He got on his feet and pinching his nose bridge walked to the window. He glanced outside at the sea and took a deep breath. Suddenly his eyes fall on a girl standing on the balcony.
He didn’t care much and glanced at the lighthouse. The light coming out from it was wandering around the sea. He followed the light for a while and thought to himself, “Tomorrow on the beach of this sea, with the sun setting at the west, she will be mine. And I will be the happiest person ever.”
He gasped and walked back to the bed. He climbed the bed and lied on his back. He shut his eyes to get some sleep but the blue eyes suddenly appeared in front of his closed eyes. Hastily opening his eyes, he got up.
“What the hell…? I am turning insane. I am turning insane,” he muttered getting down from the bed and paced back and forth.
He was no longer able to stay inside, so he walked out of his suite. Looking around the corridor, he sauntered to the balcony. As he got to the edge and looked around suddenly his eyes fall on a beautiful face that was glowing with the moonlight falling on it.
“What is she doing here?” he walked to her to wake her up. But as he lifted his hand, he stopped and drew back his hand.
He glanced at her for a while. Knees drew close to her chest and hands wrapping around her arms. He walked to his room and pulled the blanket from the bed. He walked back to her and covered her body with the blanket making sure not to disturb her sleep.

“Ivan… run…” Alicia yelled laughing with joy. She was running in a seashore after a small figure in front of her.
“Run, fast Cia, he is behind you…” said Ivan giggling, turning his head towards Alicia.
Suddenly a warm hand was wrapped around her waist and she was pulled back with mighty force. She landed on her back but strangely her body didn’t land on hard ground but something muscular.
When the hand wrapped around her waist unwrapped, she was about to turn towards the person who she was lying on, but Ivan hastily rushed towards her and pulling her hand with his small hands, said, “get up, Cia. We cannot let him win.”
“But you two have already lost the game. I caught her,” she heard a very familiar male voice.
“No, you still have not caught me. So, officially you are yet not declared winner,” said Ivan, and giggling ran. “Come and catch me…” he was calling out.
Before Alicia turns around and sees the person's face, The person once again wrapped his hand around her waist and carrying her from behind made her stand on her feet.
He then without giving her a chance to look at his face, ran towards Ivan. Alicia saw the tall, muscular body structure of his from behind. He was dressed in a white t-shirt and denim. He was running barefoot. He was looking extremely dashing even from behind.
Glancing at two figures running in the east direction, Alicia darted her eyes around. The sea was moving on its own motion, on her west was a tall lighthouse which had white walls.
Suddenly she heard a voice, “ma’am… ma’am…” Alicia was not able to understand anything and looked around to find the source of the voice but the voices were echoing around the area and she was not able to see the source.
Alicia opened her eyes due to the light she squinted. Rubbing her eyes she looked back again before seeing a lady dressed in a hotel’s worker clothes standing beside her.
