“Boss? Boss? Mr. Pacheco!”
“Huh?” I lifted my head to my assistant whom I noticed was already frowning hard at me. “What?”
“I’ve been calling you,” she said. She lifted her phone and told me she even tried my mobile phone but I seemed to have out of it. My head must have utterly floating in cloud nine and so was I. I kept going back to my date night with Aljon. It felt so surreal to be kissing someone you really like. For the first time, nothing felt better than being with him and seeing his face, his every reaction, feeling his skin against mine. And his voice telling me he’ll warm me.
