I didn't know how long I had been out. I woke up gasping for air. My heart was pumping so are that it was difficult to breathe.
"Aljon!" I heard someone say and as I turned to my side, Vanessa was coming to me with worried eyes.
"What happened?" I asked as I tried to scan the room I was in. My head was aching a bit and it was hard to make out where exactly I was.
"You're at our landlady's office. Dude, you passed out! You scared me!"
I apologized to her repeatedly but she would just tell me to stop. She said something about me being so clumsy. That the doctor said I passed out because I was probably afraid of seeing blood.
