A new life?

"Eli wait." I try to tell him as he removes his lips from mine and begin to kiss my neck sending pleasure throughout my body. I can't lie to you that he made me feel good, really good, but I couldn't yet. I'm not ready to mess with another man, while I'm trying to understand what's going on with Noel.

"Eli." I said his name a little louder and he finally moves back giving us some space. He fixes his dreads as some of his locks had come out and towards his face. For that quick second he looked so fine that I had to hold myself from throwing myself at him. I realize that I never saw his hair down whenever he's around me.

"I guess, I push the limit, huh?" He chuckles as he places his dreads back up in an up do. I only smile, nodding my head, because if I speak, I will embarrass myself, and probably blurt out how fine he is.

"Can you answer me this question though?" He asks me and in return I nod my head waiting for him to ask me.

"Do you want me the way that I want you?" I'm stuck with no words as my eyes are glued to his. No trace of a smile on him so I know this is a serious question. I sigh low looking away from him. Why do I have to answer this question? He just showed me Noel and his un-dead baby momma, and after kissing me he asks me do, I want him the way that he wants me. I don't know what to tell him to be honest.

"Eli, you just prove to me Nino isn't truthful with me, and now you are asking me do I want you."

"I'm sorry shorty, but I want to know. I don't want to invest in you and then Nino comes along and you go running back to him in a snap of a finger." He snaps his finger to emphasize what he says. I rolled my eyes at him as he stares at me waiting for my response.

"Nino has a family already and a life that he clearly wants to protect no matter what. I was never in his goals for the future, I was simple the extra cash walking around. Yes, it hurts and I'm not going to lie about it, I wanted a life with him and the way he talked to me I thought we would of you know. I'm not saying I don't want to be with in a relationship, I am feeling you hard I can't deny that, but, right now I need to think about me and my life." I let out my feelings to him.

"Alright, I'm cool with that shorty. I knew you was feeling a brother, though I just wanted you to admit." He said cheesing hard at me. I shake my head at his action.

"What are going to say to Nino?" Eli asks me.

"I'm not going to tell him about how I know about his little family. I'm just simple going to tell him we're friends now and that we should both moved on."

"You don't think he's going to find out that something up?"

"To be honest I don't want to care anymore." I said shrugging my shoulder.

"Are you going to tell him about us?" I ask him.

"So you do want to be together."

"Eli, this is serious." I said laughing.

"I've been told him that I was out to get you. He told me he had you on lock and that made me want to get out to you more and show you Nino is f*****g with your head shorty." He mentions as he places his hand on my thigh rubbing small circles. I thank God that the pajamas I'm wearing is thick cause my skin would have been itching for his touch.

"When he said he's moving me?"

"I don't know I'll talk to him about it."

"Why can't you do it?" Eli laughs from my question.

"Shorty you sure are impatience to be with me, huh?" I slap his hand away from my thigh and look out the window into the dark sky.

"If it was me, I would off made you move in with me." He places his hand under my chin to force me to look at him.

"So I can take care of you."

"I don't need your care giving, I can take care of myself."

"I want to take care of you as your man not no doctor shit."

I don't say anything and we once again get into our staring contest. I look away deciding to throw my ice cream cup outside the car. He does the same thing as he takes his ice cream cup from the dashboard that is now melted and he sips on the ice cream throwing the cup outside the car.

"Let me take you out on a date." He said as he starts the car and starts driving.

"As a friend." He quickly mentions to me and I narrow my eyes at him.

"Where?"

"I'm not telling you till you say yes."

"Okay, yes now where?"

"It's a surprise." He answers me laughing. I hit his arm as his laugh fills the car.

"You ain't shit."

When we got to the underground Eli brings me into my room as he never let my feet touch the floor. He held me in bridal style all the way to my room saying he wanted to hold me close. I didn't mind, because I was now getting tired and sleepy. Eli kicks the door open and walks in and his body is tense up becoming stiff. My eyes were shut and I didn't bother opening them since he was going to just lay me down on the bed, but his body was still stiff and tense. Am I heavy? Is Sky having s*x with a girl again?

I flutter my eyes open to see Nino sitting on my bed with the phone he brought for me in his hand. My body joins Eli as my body becomes tense and I instantly grip Eli arm as fear was now flowing through me. All traces of being sleepy was out the door being replaced with fear.

I look up to see Eli facial expression has changed, and I don't know how to explain his expression. My heart is once again beating harder than a child whose about to get his ass whoop. I look back over to Nino to see his eyes never left Eli and I. Nino and Eli are in a heated stare off and all I can think is why didn't I get off of Eli arms? You we're too comfortable dumbass! My subconscious screams at me.

"I see ya'll went out to fuck." Nino spats out. He stands to his feet, throwing the phone straight to the wall. Well another phone is broken, I say to myself as the phone connects to the wall and pieces of the phone is flying in the air. That phone was so pretty too!

"You had fun f*****g her?" Nino says again when either Eli nor I said anything. Eli was just quiet, watching Nino movement. Nino was absolutely pissed; his hands were balled into a fist waiting to fight. I hope he wasn't going to punch me. His breathing begins to quicken as his nostril went up in the sight of Eli holding me in his arms. I don't get it, he was just with his baby momma and now he wants to fight because Eli is carrying me? Nigga got issues.

"So neither ya'll want to talk, huh? You let this nigga come inside this room take you out and f**k you? You mine..."

"No I'm not." I cut him off. He looks taken back, letting his eyes wander down to me.

"What the f**k you said?"

"No, I am not yours Nino." I answer him slow and clear. After seeing what I saw of Noel with his family I didn't want to be around him anymore.

"I told you, you are mine, and I will kill every nigga that you try to f**k. You want me to kill Eli that bad, huh?" He spat harshly.

"Nigga you must be out your f*****g mind to try that s**t with me." Eli opens his mouth to say. Finally, Eli found his voice! I was beginning to think I was going to go against Noel alone.

"Nigga, you better learn your place!" Nino roared at him as he points his finger directly to Eli.

"Or what? Nino I been told you I wanted her so calm your s**t down."

"I f****d her first so she mined." Nino bark at Eli. My eyes widen at what he says and I wanted to slap him, but I know I'll get hurt because Nino is not in a state of calm, and I'll probably be lying unconscious on the floor after he beats my ass up.

"You got your little family..."

"Shut the f**k up!"

"Why? You don't want Marie to know about Ashanti?" Marie? That must be his child's mother name that he was with.

"I thought you told me she was dead, because she aborted your baby?" I question him. Nino eyes begin to darken.

"I said shut your ass up!" Nino walks to Eli and I step aside as both men are close to each other daring one of them to throw the first punch. I look at Nino as my heart aches after hearing Eli say that. Even though I was trying to forget it already, God wanted me to hear it again I see. I shake my head as disappointment on Nino is clearly shown in me. Nino takes a quick glance at me and back over to Eli.

"She need to know; you been f*****g lying to her since day one. You lied to her about Marie being pregnant just so you could get her before I did. You lucky I didn't tell Marie about what you been doing behind her back..." Eli was soon cut off by Nino fist connecting with his face. I let out a gasp as I yell for Nino to stop. I try to pull his arm back, but me being small and weak, I ended up on the floor.

Eli recovers quick and punch Nino back multiple times as Eli was quicker than Nino. Nino and Eli circle each other after Nino dodge some of Eli punches. Eli charge forward to Nino as both men begin to dodge each fist that comes flying their way. If anything they looked professional fighting each other as they dance around the room. They both had a bruise on their cheeks. I start to panic searching my area to see if there's anything I can use to stop these nigga's from attacking each other.

"You know I won her, why you still want Ashanti?" Nino says as they still circle each other with their arm set up just in case one of them attacks.

"Nigga get your set up and fight." Eli spats. Nino smirks at him as they go back to punching and dodging. For Eli to say to fight and not talk he was pissed. Eli was able to get a hit on Nino jaw which made Nino grab his jaw creating distance. Eli takes this opportunity to land another punch which Nino dodge quickly.

"How long we're you going to keep her here stripping? I had to show her she needs a real nigga and someone that's here for her 24/7 and not someone who disappear or don't answer their phone because they got another family." Eli spats angrily after regaining his balance. Nino doesn't say anything and I take that as my cue to say something before things get chaotic in here.

"I just want to leave Nino. I gave up my family, friends, my everything for you and to hear that you have a family and the lies that I can't even keep up with really kills me. It breaks me little by little to know I'm not important to you." I announce my feelings. Both men drop their arm set and look over to me. Eli looks at me pleading not to go to Nino. I ignore his stares and glance back to Nino.

"You are ma..." He whispered, walking slowly to me leaving Eli alone.

"You f*****g lying nigga." Eli cut through Nino voice. I look between the two men seeing as they both was waiting for me. My mind was going crazy trying to figure what to say. I had to resolve this situation with Nino first.

"Eli, can you give us a minute?" Eli looks hurt, but eventually he nods his head walking out, slamming the door behind him.

I look back over to Nino to see he's watching me with his emotionally eyes. I cough since it's now us two in the room alone.

"I'm sorry ma."

"To be honest, I'm tired of your sorry. You lied to me since day one saying your child mother was dead and you killed her because she aborted your baby. Then you told me about your mother being dead. You must have some issues, because I told you I wanted to stay with you after I gave up seeing my family ever again!" I scream at him with tears leaking out. Nino tries to touch me and I step back.

"Don't touch me nigga." I said sternly pointing my fingers at him. He brings his hand down to his side and let out a deep sigh.

"You want Eli?" Of course he would question me about Eli.

"Is Eli telling the truth about everything he said?" I question back. Nino shut his mouth and stays quiet.

"Exactly, man you ain't shit."

"You mine..."

"Are you mine when I have to share with someone called Marie?"

"You're not sharing me. I'm only for you ma...."

"You're a f**k nigga I swear you be lying all the time Nino."

"Noel."

"I don't give a f**k about that. You over here lying about everything and I know for a fact if you lie about that b***h being dead, then you must be with her!"

"Don't call her a bitch." Out of everything I just said he answers me saying don't call her a b***h, seriously?

"Get out!" I scream at him. He walks closer to me.

"Ma..." I cut off the rest of his words with the palm of my hands connecting with his cheeks. The sound echoes through the room and I'm not regretting it one bit. I'm just waiting for his hit to connect with mine next. I shut my eyes embracing his hit when I never felt the hit on me.

"I told you I will never hurt you physically ma." He almost whispers. I open my eyes to see him rubbing his cheek.

"I want to leave Nino; I just want my life back..."

"With Eli?"

"Are you still going to help me get a place?"

"Are you going to be f*****g Eli at your new place?"

"What is up with you and Eli!" I scream at him getting aggravated.

"I'll help you if you tell Eli to f**k off."

"What are you talking about?" I said getting confused. I raised my eyebrows at him to show him I'm clueless on what he's talking about.

"If you want to leave this place, then you need to tell Eli that you can't be with him. You need to tell him you never like him or something..."

"Why should I do that!"

"Do you want to leave this place?"

"And what if I say no?"

"Then you will never leave and I'll make sure Eli can't enter this place anymore, and if he got a problem which he will I'll kill him." He said in a normal tone. He shrugs his shoulder as if this is nothing new to him.

"That's supposed to be your day one brother."

"I can change my mind fast about someone." He smirks devilishly at me and I'm lost for words.

"What's up with you and Eli?" I have to know what's up with them two.

"Do you want to leave or what?" He questions me ignoring my question. I stand here in front of Nino and all I can think about is my freedom.

"What's the catch?" My question takes Nino off guard.

"What you mean?"

"If I leave what's the catch? We're not going to see each other again or what..."

"You not worth it for me to lose my main girl and child." My heart drops hearing this confession. I force my tears not to come out as I was hurt. I nod my head saying whatever.

"Why don't you want Eli with me? You might as well be truthful for once since I'm not going to be here anymore."

"He's one of my best workers and he's the one who brings in the money when I'm not here. I love him as a brother, but if I have to put a bullet in him, then I will." He said heartless to me. I don't say anything as the man in front of me is not Noel. The person I knew who I met was never this heartless, his own friend he will kill without blinking. This is the man that I had feelings for? This is the man I thought I can be able to live for and have a family with? This must be the devil's work.

"Like I said, cut whatever s**t you have with Eli, because if I see him changing I won't hesitate putting a bullet in him. Once I got you settled you won't see us anymore. I had fun with our fake relationship, but reality has settled in." Nino voice out. I have no words as everything he's saying hasn't registered in my mind. Nino watches me waiting for me to say anything.

He gets close to me trying to touch me and I swipe his hand away hard. He smirks shaking his head and turn walking towards the exit.

"I have to admit, I did feel for you, but I never wanted this to be a relationship. I had feelings for you, but I didn't love you. What we had was a mess up fling that went out of hands that ended you here. I'm not going to lie, I was drawn to you, but not enough to cuff you. You leaving your family is on you, so stop putting that s**t on me. I wanted to keep you around, because you're entertaining and I actually liked our time together, but Eli had to f**k it up. I'll come next week to get you. I'll let Sky tell you when to get ready and shit." He slams the door and I drop to my knees. Tears we're pouring out my eyes.

I let out everything that I was holding and let the tears run out. Nino was playing me the whole time. The whole entire time, and I never saw it coming. He would kill Eli if I continue to talk to him, and knowing Eli he wouldn't care at all....
