46. The Breakup

I get bored on deck, so I go to the library. I strip the extra clothes off, then I find a book about dancing. I get about a chapter read when Elek comes in.

"You like to read?"

"Yea, I've always liked reading. What are you reading?"

I hand him my book, and he sits in the chair beside mine.

"Is this how you learned to dance so well?"

"Yea, that's better." Thora puts the pirate coat back on me and fixes the collar. Then she pushes me down on a chair with the drink and a book.

Coral grabs a book and lies on the couch with her feet on the arm rest. Thora launches her boots across the room, then sits on the floor at the coffee table with some paper. She starts writing on it and the door opens.

Dipak steps in.

Coral jumps up. "CAN WE BE PIRATES AGAIN FINALLY?"

"Yea, we're going to start looking for another village now."

She throws the book at the shelf. "Finally."

Thora jumps up. "I NEED MY SHOES."

I jump up. "ME TOO. WHERE ARE THEY?"

"I don't know. Here's 1 of yours. Where's mine?"

Elek tosses the book on the coffee table. "It was calm a minute ago."

"I CAN'T FIND MY SHOES."

"We'll be on deck when you find your shoes."

Dipak and Elek walk out.

As soon as the door shuts, Coral smirks. "How's the break-up going?" She hands me my other shoe.

"Ugh…" I look at the ceiling. "I gave him a blow job instead."

"Tye."

"How did Tye find out?"

"I have no idea. I asked Dipak if it was true. He said he was sworn to secrecy and ran away. So I figured there was some truth to it."

Thora nods. "It's alright. You'll figure it out. You have never been good at breakups."

Coral nods. "You need to communicate with him. Not block him out of the problem and move on. You need to realize you my have misunderstood something. You should give him a chance to explain."

"Keep breaking up then. I'm sure it'll go better next time."

I finish Corals drink on the way to the deck.

"THERE'S ONE!" Tye yells. Him and Johen take off as dragons.

Dipak and Marcus are right behind them.

Kane yells, "EVERYONE STAY PUT."

The 4 boys land back on the deck after a minute.

"You can just go flying into a random village alone. What if there are guards there?" Marcus rubs his eyes. "We need to at least check it out."

"Sorry."

"It's alright. I know you're excited. Hold on and wait for a plan."

Dipak nods. "Grab a bag. When it gets full, come back and exchange it for a new 1. If any vaults are found. Notify Nadine immediately via mind link. She can let me and Marcus know. Alright, be careful and be on the lookout for guards. If you hear any alarms, get your asses back to the ship immediately. Do you understand?"

I jump up and down. "YES."

He walks over and kisses my head. "You connect any mind links right away."
