"Not Edward but Selena," Virgie replied.
"Selena? Edward's girlfriend?" Martin said.
Virgie nodded. "Do you regret dating me because my parents were waiters?" Virgie asked.
"What? Why would I regret it? I don't care what your parents do," Martin answered. "You can ask them to stop. They can do something else."
"I tried to tell them, but they didn't want to. They're too loyal to Mr. Joseph's family," Virgie replied. She was annoyed by this. She and her father had not spoken to each other since Edward's birthday party.
Martin didn't like seeing Virgie sad. He decided to do what Virgie said.
"Okay, you can return the car to Edward Reynolds. I will return to the capital with your car," Martin said.
